Sensory marketing in interior design
Hrušková, Eliška ; Zimmermann, Miloslav (referee) ; Pelčák, Svatopluk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis explores the use of sensory marketing in interior design. The theoretical part introduces the basic concepts of sensory marketing and the marketing research process. Sensory marketing enhances the customer experience, influences buying behavior and brand memorability. The positive results of the application of sensory marketing in cafes are confirmed through the analysis of data obtained from questionnaires. For example, it was found that although the smell of coffee was not very noticeable in the premises, most respondents ordered coffee, which could be due to olfactory marketing on a subconscious basis. Distinctive decorative elements also attracted respondents and promoted better brand recall. In most cases, respondents' preferences were consistent with theoretical assumptions. The paper compared respondents' preferences and feelings with objective data from a research questionnaire. At the end, the results were presented and discussed.

Scientific discoveries inspired by psychoactive plants
KRATOCHVÍL, Lukáš
This thesis deals with psychoactive plants with substances that have been used to increase creativity, openness and insight in the thinking of scientists. The aim of the work is to describe psychoactive plants and substances that were used by scientists during scientific discoveries and to bring these specific discoveries and scientists closer. The search and research method (questionnaire) was used for the solution. A total of 301 respondents filled out the questionnaire voluntarily. Through research, I discovered that the most used psychedelic substances in scientific discoveries were LSD, DMT, and mescaline. These substances are obtained from the following psychoactive plants: Purple sedum (Claviceps purpurea), Reed sedge (Phalaris arundinacea), Mimosia hostilis, Williams's hawthorn (Lopophora williamsii) or San Pedro (Trichocereus pachanoi). This result was also confirmed by the analysis of the results from the questionnaire. The result of this work is that these psychoactive species and substances show great potential for application in various fields, including in scientific research. So they certainly have an effect on creativity, insight and overall mental state. For this reason, further research and more legal benevolence with which subsequent research is associated would be good.

The basis of the design is research on the effect of colours on plant growth, which also reflects their effect on humans. The function of the science centre is complemented by the operation of garden therapy on the site. Colours have become the link between scientific purpose and psychological effect on humans. A linear object along the boundary of the site responds to the problems associated with the cultivation of plants and also serves to raise public awareness of the existence of this garden.
