Creation of a virtual tour of the Faculty of Science of Charles University suitable for students with special needs

Bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a virtual tour. It discusses the possibilities of acquiring data for virtual tours, their editing and visualization in a suitable program. The aim of this work is to design and create a virtual tour of Faculty of Science of Charles University for students with special needs, especially for people with limited mobility. The tour was created from 360ř images edited in the Zoner Photo Studio. Created tour is visualized in the 3DVista which was chosen based on the analysis of software for creating virtual tours. The text also dsscusses the importance of of user elements and features of the virtual tour. The output of this work is a complete virtual tour of the faculty with information about barrier-free movement.
Assisting Charles University Students with Special needs

Annotation The thesis aims at analyzing the service of Assisting Charles University Students with Special Needs from the point of view of all the parties concerned. It exploers both weaknesses and strenghts of the service by means of analyzing interviews with Charles University members of staff, who represent the service in the Office for Students with Special Needs, with users of the service, and particularly with its "providers" or assistants themselves. Proposals to solve possible problems are included. The thesis is based on the results of a questionaire and an analysis of interviews with 33 assistants and 10 users of the service. Analysis of the support for students with special needs in the form of assistance during their studies at the Charles University in Prague

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyse assistance services functioning at Charles University in Prague. The results of the analysis should draw attention to strengths and weaknesses of the functioning of the service assistance at Charles University. To detect these weaknesses and strengths, semistructured interviews were used. The students and assistants (who together create this assistance) were interviewed. At the same time, also the employees of the Office for Students with Special Needs which coordinates the service assistance at Charles University were interviewed. For comparison, a similar interview was conducted with the head of the Centre for handicapped students, which provides service assistance at the University of Economics in Prague. These interviews were used to a more detailed insight into the work of assistance services at Charles University. The study analyses the functionality of the service and is attempting to define the needs to help disadvantaged students to balance study conditions. Based on the results of work defines effective form of assistance. Evaluation of school leaving exam in foreign languages regarding the needs of students with learning disabilities

The bachelor's thesis deals with essential knowledge concerning learning disabilities, focusing mainly on reading disorder and disorder of written expression. It covers information about history and contemporary form of school leaving exam, including its modification for students with special needs. The thesis deals in detail with issues connected with maturita exam in foreign languages taken by the students with specific learning disabilities. A questionnaire was used as an exploratory method in the practical part. The questionnaire was intended for teachers of grammar schools, vocational schools and training institutions, who are certified evaluators of writing and speaking with the update for evaluation of SPU-O category. Most of the teachers think that the needs of students with learning disabilities are respected in school leaving exam. However, many of them were not able to review the objectivity of rating. It is necessary to raise awareness of specific learning disabilities not only among general public but also among educators. Perceived professional competencies for inclusive physical education from the view of elementary school teachers in Prague

Title: Perceived professional competencies for inclusive physical education from the view of elementary school teachers in Prague Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to describe perceived competences of teachers in the professional fulfilment of the very essence of physical education (PE) in inclusive classes. The challenge is also to point out the barriers they face that prevent the safe and high-quality routing of PE in inclusive classes. At the same time, the intention is to outline the possibilities for systemic improvements. Methodology: 12 teachers (women, mean age = 45 years) from 6 primary schools involved in the Movement for Inclusion project participated in the study. The research used a qualitative methodology in the form of a structured interview, which had an hourly subsidy and was conducted directly at the primary school. Results: None of the respondents had a specialized course on the issue of inclusive PE until the beginning of the project. Most of them would be interested in such further education. Educators draw the most information from books and websites. Their opinion on inclusion is of interest - 67% consider school inclusion to be appropriate, a quarter of teachers disagree with inclusion and 8% have not expressed an opinion. Knowledge of Teacher Assistants about Issues of Mistreated, Abused and Neglected Children

The aim of this work is to map the knowledge of teacher assistants about the issues of child abuse and neglect and to find out, how are they informed of single parts of this problematics. The work connects two big topics, which have very close relation: child abuse and neglect and teacher assistants. The theoretical part of the work is based on analysis of available literature and on inferring teacher assistant's competences in topics, in which they are not undoubtedly established yet. Quantitative research, which was realised as part of the practical part of the work through electronic questionnaries, brings specific values of percentage success in individual parts of the problematics: Child abuse and neglect and it's forms; Risk factors of child abuse and neglect; Symptoms of child abuse and neglect; Crisis intervention in case of presence of child abuse and neglect. Those parts correspond to research questions, which are based on research aim. Respondents of the research were 120 teacher assistants, who work at elementary school throughout the Czech Republic. Ceramic art as a means of self-realization of a pupil with special needs

This thesis aims at the problematics of personal growth of students with special needs in the field of art education. For example in ceramics they move from mechanical imitation of certain craftmanship to their own artistic self-realization. The goal of this thesis is to explore, dokument and describe in what ways can succes of a student be influenced. The claim will be verified, that though specifically chosen artistic tasks, that do not také place only in ceramics workshop, not only work related but also intelectuall skills that are connected with interiorization of the procedures can be developer. The subject of this research are the exspressions of verbal communicetion between students. The course of these interactions, their connection to the special needs of the students, and to the formationof their roles in the group, and what influence it has on these roles. This research is designed as a qualitative multiple case study according to theory of Strauss and Corbin. The main means of this research are transcription and analysis of data aquired from video recordings throughthe ATLAS.ti program and their interpretation.
