Vocabulary of current children's population

The submitted thesis is focused on lexical - semantic level of language in children in pre- school age. The focuses of thesis is on expressive and receptive vocabulary. The first part of thesis outlines the theoretical basis with using literature. It discusses the development of speech in terms of language levels, diagnose and develop of vocabulary and personality of preschool child. The practical part describes own research of vocabulary, which was carried out using the Test of expressive and receptive vocabulary, that was created on the basis of CREVT-2 foreign test and evaluates the level of vocabulary. The testing was realized in four kindergartens. The intact population of children in age 4, 5, 6 to 7 years was testing. Various age groups are compared with each other and they are investigated differences between them. The research part evaluates the level of expressive and receptive vocabulary of preschool children and should point out on importance of developing the vocabulary at this age.
Regime arrangements for weight modification at the preschool children

Title: Regime arrangements for weight modification at the preschool children Objectives: The aim of this master thesis is the plan of optimal regime arrangement for weight modification of preschool children in the environment of kindergarten. Also then composition of week dietary plan for facilities of this type. Methods: For the appraisal of situation and conditions of preschool education in concrete kindergartens I have used the method of comparison, direct observation and in-depth interview with head officers and teachers of particular schools. In the empirical part of this thesis I have realized the two- kind inquiry. First was focused on head and educational operatives of schools, second then on parents of the children. I have also carried out the measuring of basic physical characteristics of the children in selected kindergarten. Results: Results present information about the situation of preschool education in the Czech republic through executed analysis of selected kindergarten. It has been proved, that material ensuring of kindergarten determines leisure activities of the children. Project "Sporting Kid"

Title: Project "Sporting Kid" Aims: The main goal of this Theses is to introduce the decade of operation of the project "Sporting Kid", to define the function of sport projects for children with respect to the personal development of children of preschool and school age and to assess the development and further possibilities for enhancement of this Project. Methods: In our work we used the methods of description, analysis and comparison. We used the description method to review the scientific literature related to the characteristics of preschool and school age, characteristics of physical activities, management, marketing, instructors work and communications. The method of analysis and comparison was applied to evaluate the functioning of project "Sporting Kid". Results: Based on the scientific literature research and the evaluation of the functionality of the project "Sporting Kid" we found that this project is viable and promising in terms of access to the natural motion development of children, in terms of the motivation changes during the functioning of the project, as well as in financial terms according to organizers requirements. Annotation: Specifically pedagogical support of the child with developmental dysphasia and visual impairment in pre- school age Bachelor thesis deals with the special educational support of the child with developmental dysphasia and visual disabilities integrated in pre-school. The aim of the work was to monitor the progress of the integration of this child, the development of its capabilities, describe the specifics of the pedagogical approach, the interaction of the surroundings of the child with a problematic verbal manifestation, the adoption of an integrated child in the classroom the other children and teachers and to record any change in the climate in the team. I also watched the potential risks, which may in the integration to occur. The submitted work is in the theoretical part, consisting of a summary of the findings on the development dysphasia, the visual and the combined disability. Social-emotional characteristics of gifted children at preschool age

This thesis deals with the issue of gifted pre-school children. The aim of this work is to identify and describe the socio-emotional characteristics of gifted preschoolers. The theoretical part focuses on general definitions of giftedness and talent, general characteristics of gifted preschoolers and their identifying. It also focuses on the characteristics reported in the literature with a particular emphasis on socio-emotional area. In the empirical part, which uses qualitative methodology, six preschoolers, who were labeled as gifted by their teachers were observed. The main methods included naturalistic observation and structured interviews with teachers of gifted children. Based on my observation I found that some socio-emotional symptoms occured more widely in the observed gifted children. Firstly almost all the observed children held the positions of group leader. They often communicated with authorities more often confidently and without shyness. Most of them had a strong need to inform the teacher about something or to boast about something. Preschool Children's Reading of Text with Picture

Preschoolers are surrounded by illustrated texts. They actively explore the characteristics and function of the print and construct their own hypotheses about it before they learn to read. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how these children interpret text accompanied by the picture and how their ideas develop. Its theoretical part focuses mainly on the work of Argentine psychologist Emilia Ferreiro. The practical part is dedicated to qualitative research which is inspired by the work of Ferreiro. Data were collected from 13 children aged 3-6 years. Four cards with different combinations of text and picture were presented to each child. By an individual interview were captured the strategies used by each child in an attempt to interpret the text. These strategies were described and divided into several categories.
