Identification and evaluation of educational needs of vocational subjects teachers at secondary schools of agriculture

The diploma thesis deals with the teachers educational needs of vocational subjects at secondary agricultural schools in the field of continuing professional education. The main goal of the work is to identify, characterize and evaluate these educational needs. The theoretical part of the final thesis is devoted to teachers in the world of education, introduces the further of pedagogical staff and describes the specifics of adult education. The profession of a teacher, pitfalls, pros and cons of the teaching profession is detailed here. The work does not neglect the view of education in various departments of the government and describes, in particular, specific activities implemented in the department of the Ministry of Agriculture in relation to vocational subjects teachers at secondary agricultural schools. The research part is based on the questionnaire survey method, the respondents are teachers of vocational subjects at secondary agricultural schools. The research part is supplemented by interviews with departmental agricultural organizations representatives. Needs analysis of workers of Probation and Mediation Service in Prague on further education in the addictology field

Background: The Probation and Mediation Service (PMS) deals with offenders of criminal activity, some of whom also have addictive behavior. The addiction of the offender is considered as a significant risk factor for criminal recidivism. According to the PMS annual report, there has been an increase in the proportion of the drug crime by 2-3 percentage points per year since 2017, to 26 % in 2021. Working with addicted offenders requires specific knowledge and skills. Objectives: The thesis has the objective to identify and analyze the current needs of further education of probation officers of the Prague centre in the field of addictology. The partial objective is to find out how - according to respondents - the proportion of offenders of criminal activity with addiction problems is and its comparison with official statistics. Methods: The data was collected in the form of a questionnaire survey. The research sample included 32 probation officers from the Prague centre (out of 41 in total). Needs for Electrocardiogram Evaluation by a Paramedic

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of the needs of a paramedic in the evaluation of an electrocardiogram. In the theoretical part, the evaluation of the electrocardiogram was described, starting with the basic anatomy and physiology of the vascular supply of the heart and the conduction system of the heart. Furthermore, a description of the electrocardiograph was given, and at the end, arrhythmias with ischemic changes were evaluated. The aim was to map the abilities of paramedics in evaluating the electrocardiogram and their need for education with possible suggestions for changes in education before and after starting work. Quantitative research was used in the empirical part. Data collection was carried out using a self-structured questionnaire, in which 24 items were listed. The questions were of both open-ended and closed-ended type, with responses rated using a modified Likert scale. The questionnaire was fully anonymous and intended for paramedics from the entire Czech Republic. The basic descriptive characteristics of the research group were processed. Quantitative data were expressed by mean and standard deviation and optionally supplemented with histograms according to predefined limits. For qualitative data, frequency characteristics (absolute and relative frequencies) were processed. The results of our research investigation point to the unpreparedness of paramedics in the evaluation of pathological changes on the ECG. Respondents were also found to have a need for further training in ECG assessment and would welcome periodic training on the latest in cardiology, assessment practice at their field bases, or specialist hospital internships. To improve undergraduate education, they would include an internship in a cardiac center, practical training in a cardiology department, or professional seminars focused on EKG evaluation.

Educational needs of activity coordinators in the nursing homes

The thesis deals with the educational needs of activity coordinators in the nursing homes. The theoretical part characterizes nursing homes, their function, services, their legislative definition and then focuses on the elderly, their needs and the changes they undergo in old age. It also describes activation activities in the nursing homes, focusing on the characteristics of activity coordinators and specific activation activities. The theoretical section concludes with a discussion of adult education in the context of selected theories of human needs and adult motivation for further learning. Furthermore, the general principles of adult education and the current situation in the education of activity coordinators are described. The practical part includes qualitative research in which aspects that influence the educational needs of activity coordinators in the nursing homes were identified and evaluated. A total of five activation workers from three different nursing homes located in the South Bohemia region participated in the research.

The impact of kindergarten teacher on the children from socially disadvantaged environment

The diploma thesis deals with kindergarten teachers who devote themselves to children from socially disadvantaged family backgrounds. It monitors the influence of teachers on a preschool child from this environment. The theoretical part elaborates on professional knowledge about preschool children, and the approach of kindergarten teachers to preschool children in the environment of kindergarten. It also concerns the socially disadvantaged family environment and its characteristics. It monitors the importance of kindergarten for these children. It processes information on the social and legal protection of children. Last but not least, it considers the issue of other helping professions. The practical part is focused on examining the experience and attitude of kindergarten teachers towards children from the environment mentioned above. It reveals the view of teachers on children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in terms of the characteristics of the environment. It deals with the attendance of children in kindergarten and its importance for preschool children. It monitors the cooperation of teachers with OSPOD and other organizations involved. Educational needs of state employees implementing the consumer protection agenda

This diploma thesis has the goal of identifying the educational needs of civil servants carrying out administration of consumer protection for Czech Telecommunication Office and to propose suitable educational activities for this group of employees on the basis of an executed analysis of educational needs, in the interests of improving the effectiveness of administration. For the purpose of complex understanding of the issue of educating civil servants, the first part of this diploma thesis discusses the general characteristics of corporate education. It also explains the concept of competence and describes the possibility of utilising competency modelling in personnel processes. The chapter devoted to the education of civil servants in the context of current legal regulations, is an integral element of the theoretical part of this diploma thesis. The empirical part of this paper is devoted to the methodology. It defines the research goal and research questions. Identification of the Educational Needs of Kindergarten Directors

This diploma thesis focuses on the educational needs of educators in leadership positions on whom increasingly higher demands are placed, resulting from changes in society, which are reflected in the transformations of schools. It points out the urgent need to identify the current educational needs of kindergarten directors, to adapt the range of education available to their needs and thus create the basis for systematic, life-long education. The work is based on theoretical knowledge, professional literature, legal requirements, competences and other fields and activities which form the basis for educational needs of directors. It explains terminology used in education and identifies the current state in the continuing education of school directors. It offers various methods and forms of continuing education. The thesis also contains a research section focusing on kindergarten directors. It provides information on their approach to continuing education, their specific educational needs, identifies gaps in currently available range of offered courses and looks into their motivation to further self-education. The final thesis on the topic specific educational needs of visually impaired teachers as part of continuing professional education focuses on needs and opportunities related to education and lifelong education of visually impaired teachers in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the support, rehabilitation and use of assistive devices for this education. Furthermore, mapping companies and organizations supporting the visually impaired and offers examples of good practice. Analysis of the educational needs of pupils with behavioral problems

My bachelor's thesis is entitled "Analysis of the educational needs of pupils with behavioral problems". It iconsists of a literary survey of the field and a research proposal following the conclusions of the theoretical part of the work. Last mentioned is divided into three parts. The first one is dealing with educational needs of students (meaning needs of all pupils). The second one defines a group of students, which we refer to as "students with behavioral problems." And the third part analyzes their educational needs. Results of mentioned parts imply the need to focus on creating an school environment, which will prevent behavioral problems of pupils.
