Financial capability of juvelin placed in the diagnostic institution

V teoretické části diplomové práce jsou propojena tři samostatná témata: finanční gramotnost, prevence a diagnostický ústav. To jsou hlavní východiska pro realizovaný terénní výzkum. Empirickou část tvoří výzkum kvalitativní povahy. Stěžejní metodou této práce je rozhovor, který se opírá o pracovní listy. Zvolené postupy a techniky cílí na detailnější popis finanční gramotnosti u žáků umístěných v Diagnostickém ústavu pro mládež, Praha 2, Lublaňská 33. Vzniklá deskripce má povahu monografie, propojuje životní příběh participanta s popisem problematiky peněz, spravování rodinného rozpočtu, správy finančních aktiv, závazků i investic. Případové studie zachycují životní strategie, smýšlení a názory devíti participantů. Cílem práce je konfrontovat čtenáře s nevšedním příběhem dospívajícího člověka. Text vyvolává zajímavou debatu a také akcentuje existencionální nutnost jednadvacátého století šířit osvětu a motivovat ke zvyšování finanční gramotnosti. Education of adolescent girls with addictology problem in institutional care

This paper focuses on adolescent girls who are clients of a diagnostic institution and have been transferred to a specialized ward with more addictive support due to substance abuse. In this ward, they then attend school facilities that are not part of the institution and, according to the documentation of said ward, they are not successful in their studies and in most cases drop out of high school or apprenticeship. Therefore, the aim of this study was to find out what are the reasons and obstacles that prevent them from successfully completing their studies. The data collection was based on semi-structured interviews with the clients, the teaching staff of the diagnostic institute, the teaching staff of the schools where the clients attend and the parents of the clients. Another method used in this thesis was a detailed analysis of the documentation of the relevant department where the clients are placed. On the basis of the analysis of the interviews by means of selective coding, 41 categories were determined and these were subsequently narrowed down to 6 coherent themes that can be considered as direct causes of the school failure of the mentioned clients: self-assessment, finances, choice of field of study, problems at primary school, method of education, lack of information of class teachers....

Educating children from a Children's Home

Dissertation is focused on the issue of institutional care in the Czech Republic. The main focus of this work are children's homes, education and socialization of children placed in this type of residential care. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe the characteristics of subjects of institutional care in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, to compare institutional care with selected countries and describe the child's socialization in the family and at school. A historical overview of institutional care in the Czech Republic is also described, and in conclusion the author deals with a specific description of the social inclusion of pupils with special educational needs in the teaching process at primary school. The empirical part reports on the research and its results obtained by qualitative methodology using case study design. The main goal of the research was to find out how children from a children's home are integrated into the teaching process at primary school. Furthermore, the author set several partial goals. Motivation of employees of the diagnostic institute to perform the profession

This thesis, entitled Motivation of employees of diagnostic institutes to perform a job, focuses on the topic of work in diagnostic institutes in the position of an educator and its specifics, characteristics, and work motivation. It consists of two main parts. In the first, theoretical part, the concept of motivation is defined and characterized. There are several basic approaches mentioned regarding its conception. Subsequently, this topic is expanded by the definition of work motivation. It is further accompanied by the most important theories that have an impact on how society views the issue. The expected factors which individuals choose as the reason for doing the profession of an educator are mentioned as well. The conclusion of the theoretical part is briefly describing diagnostic institutes, their legislative anchoring, goals and mission, and the list of required professions. It is further extended by a more detailed description of the educator profession. The theoretical part of the work is followed by an empirical part. The research was performed in the form of interviews with selected diagnostic educators. ICT support of education in Youth diagnostic centers

The thesis is focused on an investigation of the benefit evoked by the ICT supported connected instruction between the Child Diagnostic Institute (the DDU) and the tribal school of a pupil, who comes to DDU for a voluntary diagnostic stay (DDP). The aim of this work is to determine an interest in this project among teachers, both from DDU and teachers from primary schools, whose pupils attended the DDU. The method of research is an online survey among teachers from DDU and teachers from schools outside the Diagnostic Institute who have experience with the DDU clients. The results are evaluated separately for teachers from DDU and teachers from other primary schools that have experiences with those pupils.

Interpersonal relationships of adolescents placed in the Diagnostic Institute for Youth

The bachelor thesis is focused on interpersonal relationships of adolescents, who were placed in the Diagnostic Institute for Youth. The thesis using qualitative research methods to maps interpersonal relationships of late adolescents. The aim is to identify what types of relationships are subjectively assessed as important and on the other side as insignificant. Interpersonal relationships are considered in the context of selfconcept, identy and emotional and behavioral disorders. The results discuss the various types of relationships - peer relationships, family relationships, romantic relationships and relationships within the school environment. Research has shown that peer and family relationship are assessed as the most important.
