Specifics of managing people in multi-location schools

1 ABSTRACT The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of delegation and internal communication in multi- site schools. It reflects current developments and upcoming changes in regional education system that result from strategic documents of the Czech Republic. Among other things, these changes include also management of schools that is pledged to receive systemic support. In this context, the merging of small schools into larger units is being considered, primarily for reasons of greater financial efficiency. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis explains the raison d'etre of multi-sites schools and presents the context of current developments. It also tackles explanation of key concepts of delegation and communication. In case of delegation, it describes its conditions and course. It describes the conditions and process of delegation, defines the concept of internal communication and describes its most common forms. The practical part analyses practices of selected school principals and describes their method of delegation and communication in a particular school. Qualitative research methods were used for data gathering, including specifically semi-structured interviews with four school principals. Authority and helplessness of social workers

The diploma thesis discusses the influence of the setting of the current society on the management of social workers in social services, and at the same time draws attention to the hidden overlap of the leadership role. Because it significantly and fundamentally affects the whole life in the organization, starting with co-workers and ending with the atmosphere of the organization. The work approaches the important prerequisites and internal resources of a leader, so that the leadership role can be better understood and workers better oriented in it. The work includes inspiration in the form of some abilities that support good leadership of people, at the same time it points to the importance of the ethical reflection of a leader connected with the spiritual plane, which contributes to personal and professional growth.

In my thesis I will deal with the current motivations and working conditions of employees. Analyze the business questionnaire and a personal consultation with all stakeholders in the company. Based on the design of the identified deficiencies that must be done so that the employee was taken into account and was sufficiently motivated to job performance.
Specifics of bilingual school management

This bachelor's thesis deals with the specifics of managing a bilingual school. The goal of the thesis was to find out what the specifics of bilingual school management are in the area of people management and management of the pedagogical process in comparison to a traditional school. To create this thesis, the method of studying professional domestic and foreign literature and other available sources was used. Thanks to this method, it was found out what the differences are between the management of traditional and bilingual schools. The work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part focuses on the basic conceptual definition related to the researched issue, based on professional literature. The first chapters define school management, further characterize the school director, his assumptions and competences. This is followed by a chapter dedicated to managing people, managing human resources and managing pedagogical processes. Leadership styles of the school canteen managers

Thesis deals with the issue of people management and management styles of school canteens managers. The theoretical part of the thesis, based on the literature, deals mainly with the various ways of management, personality of the manager and his role in the team. The research took place among school canteens managers, which are part of the elementary schools, and provides an assessment of the cerrent situation. The aim of my work was to analyze the current used methods of management of school canteens managers and to propose optimal management style in school canteens at the basic school. Application of the Person-Centered Approach (PCA) principles in management

The basic objective of the theoretical part of this diploma thesis is to present Rogers' Person- centred Approach (PCA) in terms of its development, theory, basic principles and potential applications out of therapeutical context, with emphasis on leadership. The first chapter is devoted to general knowledge of the PCA and in the second chapter there is a more detailed description of possible applications of the PCA in management. The basic objective of the empirical part is to verify the relationship between main necessary conditions of PCA in people management (respectively in person-centered leadership) and employees' organizational commitment. The quantitative research in the form of correlation study has been carried out on a sample of 63 respondents, employees of various organizations in various fields. Barrett-Lennard Relationship Inventory (BLRI) and Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) were used as research methods. The results show the significant correlation between organizational commitment and measures of empathic understanding, congruence, and level of regard expressed by managers towards employees. This thesis deals with the analysis of human resources management in a selected organization. The aim of this work is to analyze human resources management in the organization and evaluate its procedures with a focus on employee motivation and education. The theoretical part analyzes the approaches of human resources management, individual personnel activities and specifically the motivation and education of employees. The theoretical part is devoted to human resources management in general. This part is devoted to personnel activities such as job analysis, personnel planning, recruitment and selection of employees, evaluation of employees, placement or termination of employment, remuneration of other areas in this direction. Here I focus on adult education, education in public administration and subsequently their education methods, which employees of public administration prefer.
