Pretschner, Adéla ; Komberec, Filip (advisor) ; Doležalová, Eliška (referee)
The presented thesis deals with the integration of the components of Czech Language and Literature, i. e. the integration of Communication and Composition, Language, and Literary Education. Regarding the literary texts, which are the content of Literary Education, the thesis focuses on poetic texts. Based on scholarly literature, the thesis finds the importance of poetry not only in its specific use of language which, when perceived, develops logical thinking about language and provides an aesthetic experience, but also in its ability to stimulate the emotional aspect of personality. Through this stimulation, poetry can help students to reflect on their emotions, to better understand themselves, and ultimately to better understand the world around them. The second aim is to contribute to discussions about the change of CLL teaching which is currently very unintegrated. The thesis presents an integrated approach to teaching CLL, inspired by the concept of integrated teaching of Slovak Language and Literature for primary education. As the components of the subject are inherently intertwined, by interconnecting them in teaching, students can naturally learn and...
