The use of yoga in kindergarten

Bachelor thesis "Use of yoga in preschool" deals with influence of yoga engagement in preschool education on the mental development of children of age from four to seven years. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to find out whether kindergarten teachers involve yoga in teaching. Another goal was to find out what effect yoga exercises have on preschool children. The theoretical part focuses on knowledge from the development of preschool children, but also on knowledge from the history and origin of yoga. In this part there is also an interview with a pediatrician or physiotherapist. In the practical part there are ideas for activities with preschool children. Furthermore, the practical part informs about the needs of teachers who would like to include yoga in the education of preschool children. It was found that kindergarten teachers would welcome materials to teach yoga in preschool.
Posibilities of movement predispositions in preschool children

Title: Posibilities of movement predispositions in preschool children Objectives: The aim of the work is to compare the kindergartens on the basis of the information obtained from the respondent sof the selected kindergartens, to select the one that has the best prerequisites for the physical development of children and to develop a suitable programme within the framework of the evaluation. Methods: Direct questioning was used as the method and the responses were entered into a rekord sheet and then processed. The interview took place in the environment of selected Prague kindergartens. Results: The results of the work showed that the biggest problems were the size of the premises, the low number of hours of psysical activities and the small number of teachers present during the activities. Motivation of parents in choosing alternative nursery schools - Maria Montessori

The aim of this bachelor thesis entitled: "Motivation of parents in choosing alternative kindergartens - Maria Montessori" is to describe and analyze in more detail the reform pedagogy of Maria Montessori, the development of preschool Montessori facilities in the Czech Republic and comparison with traditional kindergartens. It also aims to present the specific use of the principles of Montessori pedagogy in the selected facility and outline other alternative pedagogical directions. The empirical part uses the research method of interviewing parents in Montessori kindergarten. The interview is purely anonymous and the aim is to find out for what purpose they put their children in the kindergarten, what they expect from it and if they apply Montessori pedagogy outside it. Educational envinronment of Waldorf preschool in Prague with its philosophical starting point

This exploratory case study is focused on the educational environment and the school climate in one particular Waldorf preschool in Prague. Emphasis of the research was oriented towards the original philosophical basis of Rudolf Steiner, who invented Waldorf education in the early 20th century. The goal of this study was to underpin the specific environment and point out the way, in which the principles of Steiner education are demonstrated in the environment. Within the qualitative research method I have created complex questionnaires for two groups of respondents: parents and teachers. In the creation of the questionnaires I have utilized my own experience form the environment and my knowledge of Waldorf theory and theory of climate. The questionnaires have created a template with predefined codes. After the respondents answered the questionnaires, the codes than got their unique characterizations. The output of this study is a defined elementary hypothesis about functioning and affecting of the environment and the climate from the viewpoint of the two groups of respondents. Planning of teaching staff in preschool

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to ascertain how kindergartens approach the planning of teaching staff. The theoretical part deals with basic principles of staff planning and methods and resources used in recruitment of employees and defines the notions of "teaching staff" and "kindergarten". The empirical part relies on survey data and its analysis. We research the problem of teaching staff planning in kindergartens. The exact methods are ascertained by analysing the following three topics: the current state of affairs in staffing sufficiency, the forms of teaching staff planning in use, and the sources of teaching staff used by kindergartens. We have ascertained that kindergartens are insufficiently staffed and, not infrequently, kindergartens are staffed with teaching staff who do not possess the legally required qualifications. Two fifths of kindergartens have a medium-term plan covering the needs for teaching staff, and the same number of kindergartens have a medium-term staffing plan for teaching assistants. This thesis explores the most common reasons for planned staffing requirements and ascertains how kindergartens deal with these situations and also how they approach overstaffing.
