Concept of Human by John Amos Comenius

The study is focused on human beeing concept deals with the concept in John Amos Comenius work There are nine chapters each of them represents one part of his lifelong work. The first chapter contains basic information about Comenius, therefore his biographical details and link to today's world. The next chapter discusses the Unity of Brethren, that influenced his life and work. The following chapter is devoted to pedagogical thinking, which monitors developments and advances in pedagogy for the life of Comenius. Other chapters are devoted to his conception of philosophy, antropology and theology pansophism. The work outlines all the areas in which Comenius delas with man.

7 Summary This study tries to clarify Schopenhauer's and Plato's philosophy for the purpose of discovering their concepts of love. In both metaphysics the thesis tries to find motives which, as author believes, are still alive although it seems that nowadays are so far away.
Issues of Values of Education in Postmodern Society in the Early 21st Century

The aim of the thesis is to outline the issues of current conception of values as moral standards in postmodern society and to identify the consequences of this conception for education. The thesis tries to analyze current pluralist society on the base of literature, which is relevant to given subject. The thesis deals with a question, if and under what conditions is possible to determine socially valid values and if is possible to integrate them into the process of education. The text is divided into two chapters, the first of them deals with issues of postmodern society, pluralism and philosophical deconstruction and tries to indicate relations with education. The second chapter is focused on the problem of values, current educational objectives and the last part of this chapter is focused on the authority of education in current society. Leadership in nongovernmental nonprofit organizations

The thesis is focused on the topic of leadership in non­governmental non­profit organizations. The thesis is focused on specifics of process of leadership in non­governmental non-profit sector with the greatest emphasis on the difference in the approaches of leadership of paid staff and volunteers, these groups of people are a very important and typical part of NGO. The thesis presents the most commonly used theories of leadership in the organizations, as well as describes the importance of leadership in the NGO. A qualitative method of data obtaining is used in the empirical part of the thesis. It is possible to describe the course of the process of leadership in NGO from interviews with the leaders and its specifics can be pointed out. Learning through experience, its potential, mechanisms and connected phenomena

This thesis aims to illuminate the potential for personal growth in learning through experience. The paper also tries to describe the principles of learning and connected phenomena and the mechanisms, through which its acteurs gain the option to achieve personal growth. To support its theoretical claims, an observation has been conducted in the duration of circa four months among three after-school activity groups. The observed phenomena have then been interpreted in terms of theoretical concepts of learning, experiencing, the dynamics of small groups and personal growth provided earlier in the paper. Based on the observation, a system of "learning situations" has been constructed and its characteristics and mechanism, through which its acteurs can achieve personal growth, explained. Cooperation of teachers on small school with composite classes: case study

v anglickém jazyce ABSTRACT This thesis aims to analyze and describe how the cooperation of pedagogical workers in selected a Little Class School, how cooperation works in practice. The theoretical part deals mainly with characteristic of Little Class school in the Czech republic, further focuses on teacher's personality, on the school climate and its environment where pedagogical employees work together. In the last chapter of theoretical part, cooperation as a topic is mentioned. It defines the basic concepts that are related to cooperation between educators. These concepts include Little Class school, teacher personality, professional development, climate and school environment, cooperation. In the theoretical part, cooperation between teacher and teaching assistant is also mentioned. The empirical part of the thesis contains a case study of a selected a Little Class school and how the cooperation takes place at this school. In the diploma thesis, these collection methods were used: observation, interview and questionnaire. Following is an analysis of the data collected and an assessment of the situation. Learnability of ethics: is it possible to acquire a virtue?

Learnability of ethics: is it possible to acquire a virtue? Key words: ethics, virtue, learning, learnability, knowledge, practice This diploma thesis is focused on the field of virtue ethics as one of the main branches of the practical philosophy and on the theme of the possibility to learn or acquire a virtue. In the introduction part, it presents the context and the basis of the theme and besides that also the fundamental criteria, by which the outcome of the thesis and the main question will be assessed. Then a general description of the main principles of the virtue ethics is introduced. The next two main chapters are devoted to the description of the approach to this kind of moral philosophy in the works of it's two most significant representatives, Plato and Aristotle. This description is held with the idea to stress those aspects of virtue, that are in connection with the possibility and forms of learning it. The next chapter brings several more examples of the opinion about both introduces conceptions from the viewpoint of the learnability of virtue. The conclusion then summarizes the described features of the virtue, in what way they connect with the idea of learnability and if they meet the criteria set at the beginning of the thesis.
