Problems in the use of information technology in teaching at primary school. Analysis of current situation in Prague 1

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in primary schools in the Czech Republic. It briefly outlines the historical development of educational aids from the 19th century until the beginning of the 21st century, when the level of ICT development significantly affects the educational process. Specifics of an information society and the impact of ICT on today's world are described as well. Several European and Czech strategic documents connected to the implementation and teaching of ICT in schools are mentioned. A description of the three main aspects of the ICT implementation (required hardware, software and teachers' training) is provided, including a description of problems and risks of the implementation process. The process of the successful implementation of ICT in the school environment and educational process is described on the example of ZS Lupacova, Prague. The analysis of the current situation in primary schools in Prague 1 is provided.
The system of educational and vocational guidance in primary schools

The objective of this Thesis is a theoretical analysis of the educational counselling system and an analysis of the contemporary educational counselling system at primary school facilities in Usti nad Labem. The theoretical part disserts upon a system of school counselling services and from its structure resulting educational counselling system at primary schools. Theoretical experiences are then transformed into practical analysis of the Usti nad Labem educational counselling system settings which is amended by an investigation in the participiant institutions and an empirical probe, having been made with the usage of survey questionnares, between educational counsellors at primary schools in the city.
Badminton at elementary school

TITLE: Badminton at elementary school AUTHOR: Miroslav Ramba DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ivan Přibyl ABSTRACT: In my bachelor work I investigate by using polls, how much in nowadays the knowledge of badminton as a sport discipline is quite different from the recreational badminton. Furthermore, I will introduce the new badminton rules from the year 2006 and their influence on the attractiveness of the game. I will briefly mention the history and basic concepts related to badminton, including physical training and preparation with the focus on the target age group 6 to 15 years. I perform the analysis of the observed children matches of different age and physical fitness, the analysis of the agility increase during the game - I have been working and monitoring the regular trained children for 6 months. The obtained data will be used together with the technical and logistic guarantee of the badminton game to find out the basic conditions realized at elementary school. The obtained data from my survey analysis of observed matches are transformed into graphic form. Parents' decision whether the compulsory school attendance will be postponed or not, should never become a formal matter, whereas parents can cause their children considerable difficulties in the future education and subsequent life just through their unadvised approach. My final thesis consists of four chapters and is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part is based on the theoretical resources and the general characteristics of pre-primary education, school counselling service departments, also from the experiences of senior staff of kindergartens in the field of compulsory school attendance. Athletics in elementary school

THE TITLE OF THE THESIS Athletics in elementary school THE TARGET OF THE THESIS The target of the thesis is a comparison of four-year-grade performance in the chosen athletics disciplines reached by boys from the second grade of two elementary schools. In one of them expanded sport education is taught. Next we want to draw a comparison of the relation between pupils' extracurricular sport activity and their performance in the chosen athletics disciplines. THE METOD The thesis is elaborated as a observational study. Within the research the method of collecting data - panel survey is applied. Data of these athletics disciplines are elaborated in the research: running at 60 m, long jump, shot - put and high jump. There is also used the inquiry method on the subject of extracurricular sport activities. CONCLUSION The gathered data concerning the chosen athletics disciplines of pupils from the elementary school with expanded sport education prove a higher growth performance. From the inquiry was found out that two thirds of respondents engage in extracurricular sport activities and their performance grew more continuously in the chosen athletics disciplines than the performance of those respondents who did not devote to these activities. Aktive Learning as A Tool of Reading Literacy Development in a Primary School.

The thesis aims to explore those current methods of teaching reading. The theoretical part describes the active learning, its influence on a class climate, the demands it puts on a teacher and the benefits it brings to the learners. Next, we define the concepts of reading comprehension and reading literacy and describe a range of methods and means that contribute to reading literacy development. The practical part analyses the conditions for reading literacy development at primary schools and gives examples of lessons which implement active learning methods into the reading literacy development process.

This thesis deals with the topic "The content of education at the first grade of primary schools". The initial years of schooling are very important for the future psychological development of children. At the first grade of primary schools the pupils built schoolboy habits of learning and acquire human and moral values. For these reasons is important to the level of study at a primary school meets the high standards and thus helped to create a solid foundation for future academic and professional life of a young human. In the theoretical part of this thesis will be summarized the current knowledge of basic education, in the practical part will be compared school curricula of selected primary schools. Obtained knowledge will be used in the assessment aims, areas and forms of education in the Czech republic.
Teaching English to pupils with specific learning disabilities in the first level of primary school

Linda Arbanová, Ph.D. Abstract: In this bachelor work the author applies herself to the project teaching of Art lessons. She prioritizes two main educational aims. She chooses a topic and prepares "The Meadow" project. She is succesful at its realization. This theme is enough rich in the impulses for visual work in Art lessons and it infuses well the other subjects. The author makes the project on the base of the School Education Programme for the second year. Her choice of graphic technologies goes with it - drawing, painting, collage, frottage, muchlage, making plastics, objects etc. The whole project consists of eight parts. Each one of them contains a different graphic problem. The description of all graphic activities are completed with the visual documentation, the pupil's reflection and the author's own as well. In the ending of her work she compares the development of children's personality in the class with the growing plants on the meadow.
