Czech Language Teaching at Scioschools - a Case Study

This thesis focuses on the teaching of the Czech language at scioschools. The theoretical basis of Czech language didactics and the problematicsof alternative education are discussed in the first part, while the second part characterizes the individual scioschools in terms of their general concept and teaching of Czech language. The thesis is fomulated as a case study and is methodologically based on observation, interviews and document analysis. Its aim is to provide a partial insight into the practice of Czech language teaching at scioschools and to answer how and with what goal is Czech language taught. It analyses whether some innovative methods and forms of work reflecting the current topics of Czech language didactics are applied and whether is there are any unifying concepts of Czech language teaching. While this work provides insight into these issues it concludes that scioschools aim to lead the students to so-called study autonomy. Scioschools do not work with a unified concept of teaching. It find that the current Czech language teaching practice - forms of teaching, application of innovative methods or aims are heavily influenced by the personality, knowledge and experiences of the teacher - tutor. Education of children in children's home with a school Dobřichovice

The diploma thesis Education of children in a children's home with a school in Dobřichovice is focused on the issue of education and resocialization of a child in a facility for institutional education and on the preparation of children for future life. The theoretical part defines the chapters Education, Behavioral Disorders, Deprivation and Stress. They are here as an insight into the given issue, what problems and disorders clients come to the children's home with the school and what the workers encounter on a daily basis. A separate chapter consists of the characteristics of a specific children's home with a school, education and development of the child's personality in this facility. The practical part and conclusion deal with the evaluation of coping with stressful situations and conflicts in this facility in the form of questionnaires, interview and summarize the results of research. Comparisonof commercial and unpaid tutoring by volunteers

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to compare unpaid tutoring by volunteers with commercial tutoring. The compared area is the child's motivation for tutoring from the perspective of the parent, tutor and the tutored child. The theoretical part brings closer the phenomenon of private and volunteer tutoring, presents the concept of motivation in selected theses and summarizes the basic knowledge in the field of motivation. The practical part is focused on the comparison of both types of tutoring in a selected area. The comparative part is preceded by a description of individual trios based on the analysis of data from the obtained one-on-one interviews. Twelve respondents participated in the research (four trios-two trios for each type of tutoring), with whom semi-structured interviews were held. The instrumental motivation or the preference of the tutor over the teacher proved to be a common feature of commercial and volunteer tutoring. The different feature of commercial and volunteer tutoring is the way of motivation by tutor or a reason to get a tutor. KEYWORDS Commercial tutoring, volunteer tutoring, tutor, motivation
Philosophical aspects of education in dialogue between Wolfgang Brezinka and Zygmunt Bauman

The text of this work is primarily based on the works of Wolfgang Brezinka, focusing on the philosophy of education and on many sociological works by Zygmunt Bauman, which are cited for better orientation in the philosophical-educational context of the chapter focusing on the philosophy of education used in the antiquity The aim was to present the reader with at least a brief awareness of the individual aspects of the philosophy of education as presented by Brezinka and to supplement it with the possible aspects that can be taken from Bauman, who primarily focuses on exploring the socio-cultural phenomena of the modern society. Gradually, the essential characteristics, features, and characteristics that accompanied the upbringing in antiquity are presented, just as the educational aims and beliefs in relation to the upbringing that is presented by Brezinka. Furthermore, there are discussed and examined the pitfalls of modernism and postmodernism in relation to personality, culture, society and philosophical-educational possibilities as pointed out by Bauman. Social relations of foster home's children

The bachelor thesis refers to the issue of social relations in children's homes. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is focused on the main concepts and topics, which include characteristics of children's homes, detailed description of life in a children's home and specifics of children from the children's home with attention to their emotionality, sociability and also to the representation of multiculturalism in children's homes. The practical part describes a research that aimed at the determination of how social relations are developed in children's homes, how children evaluate these relationships and what approach is used for developing ethnical identity of children from different cultures than the major culture. The research was conceived as a mixture of several methods and performed in a selected children's home in the Central Bohemia Region. The research involved 50 children who filled- in a customized questionnaire as well as 8 tutors who were interviewed with using semi- structured interview methods. The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed using basic statistic methods whereas the theory of open coding was used to analyze the interview data. Methods and means of education in leisure time and leisure

This thesis examines the possibilities of linking the interest in a child (a participant in interest education in the field of education of leisure) with the interest in achieving the goals of various leisure education activities, as well as the goals being (co)determined by the child itself. The thesis strives to find the solution in a method in which an activity goal of the child is transformed into a goal of the tutor with the intention of encouraging the child's personal development. The thesis is divided into four chapters.The first chapter deals with educational goals and the goals of leisure education.The following chapter explores the goals of education as set by various pedagogical conceptions and alternative approaches to the isme. The third chapter acquaints the reader with the psychological potential of the target group.The last chapter is dedicated to the growth of child's potential, its ability of free choice and decision making, expressions of creativity, and the "flow" state.
Abstract Syntax Tree Analysis for Python Teaching Support

The goal of this thesis is to create an analyzer system to check assignment solutions and to suggest improvements for them in terms of code quality and cleanliness. For the best results, a combination of static and dynamic analysis techniques is used. This system is implemented in the form of tutoring system and uses Docker containers for safe testing and analysis in an isolated environment. Interactive environment for communication with users is created with modern technologies such as Material Design.
Demands on Competencies of Lectors of Adaptation Courses for High School

This Bachelor thesis discusses demands on competencies of lectors of adaptation courses for high schools. The object of the thesis is to assemble a list of competencies that a lector should dispose of to be able to attain the goals of the adaptation course. The thesis presents the concept of adaptation courses and differents ways of their realisation. It also disserts on the competencies and the advantage of their utilization and presents two competency models that concern the profession of an adaptation course lector. With the use of relevant literature it identifies the main goals and principles of an adaptation course and the competencies they imply. Examples of particular show of these competencies in behaviour are a part of the assembled list.
