The comparison of reflection of second highest czech football and hockey competitions in news service of Czech news agency in 2015/2016

The diploma thesis "The comparison of reflection of second highest Czech football and hockey competitions in news service of Czech news agency in 2015/2016" deals with media coverage of second football league and first hockey league in order to find out how Czech news agency holds the news service for its clients, who rely on its service, in particular season. The thesis also includes the comparison of the way of informing about both competitions. On behalf of the second football league and the first hockey league the thesis maps the production of sport reporters in Czech news agency especially from quantitative perspective. The thesis focuses on analysis of agency service especially on particular periods: a week before the start of the season, the first and the tenth round, a week before the start of spring part of football league and a week before the start of play off's pre-round and also key moments in both competitions. In theoretical part the thesis briefly reminds the history of both competitions, the development of their game systems and also offers a summary of the most important events of 2015/2016. Sport Centre Za Lužánkami Brno

This thesis analyze the conception of the sport centre in Brno za Lužánkami. The area has a very extensive sport history, which dates back to 1922. Nowadays this topic has been very discussed because of the hockey and football history in the place of Lužánky. Hockey and football teams were forced to abandon Lužánky as a consequence of decrepitude and very bad technical aspects of the buildings. The diploma thesis deals with the new concept of the entire area where the professional and leisure sport activities will take place. The extensive architectural study of the multifunctional hockey stadium resolves the location of the object on the same place as the previous stadium. It put emphasis on the generous scattering area around the stadium, easy navigation and placement of the entrances from all around the object. The multifunctional usage of the stadium is solved by the telescopic grandstand and it offers the standard capacity of 10 500 spectators at a hockey match and up to 14 300 spectators at a concert event. The main expression element of the exterior of the stadium are the facade lamellas. They accentuate the ground floor with their dynamic placing and clearly indicate the main entrances to the object. In the night the glasses lamellas are shined by the integrated LED lights and enable to switch endless different faces of the stadium according by the current occasion.
Sport club HC Sparta Prague development prognoses

Title: Sport club HC Sparta Prague development prognoses Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to propose and draw up 3 possible prognoses of HC Sparta Prague financial situation development based on financial analysis of past years. Methods: In the first phase of the thesis a financial analysis from past 8 years is drawn up. The data required for the aforesaid analysis are gained from the analysis of the balance sheet, profit and loss account and financial ratios. The third phase deals with reconstruction of Taffler model for predicting bankruptcy. Based on the results of the financial analysis, 3 prognosis, namely optimistic, pessimistic and realistic are drawn up. The prognoses are drawn up using and taking into consideration the past development of profits and loss figures, as well as net income up to/till 2020. Modelling of the prognoses is carried out with the use of Forecast function in MS Excel. Results: The compared results of financial analysis and sports achievements have shown that the HC Sparta Prague financial situation develops depending on sports achievements of the extraleague team. Communication activities of HC Lev Praha in the 2013/2014 season

The goal of this thesis is to present and critically evaluate the key communication activities used by HC LEV Praha hockey club in season 2013/2014. The opening chapters are dedicated to marketing communication characteristics while taking into account the specifics of sport industry and also to a short introduction of the hockey club. The thesis' core, which describes the specific communication activities in the monitored period, is then followed by the complex and critical view and evaluation of said communication. Those are based mainly on the Facebook and attendance data analysis and also on the comparison to communication activities of selected NHL clubs, whose marketing strategies, including communication strategies, are considered to be at a high level. This comparison is also the foundation of communication suggestions, which are proposed at the end of this thesis. The comprehensive view of the external communication of HC LEV Praha followed by the critical evaluation and communication suggestions are the biggest contribution of this thesis.
Evaluation of the effectiveness of advertising expenses during sport broadcasts

Title: Evaluation of the effectiveness of advertising expenses during sport broadcasts Objectives: The main goal of this work is to compare the amount of money invested into the commercial advertisement during sport broadcasts at the ČT sport channel with viewer ratings. The used metric is a coefficient computed as a ratio between the viewer rating of the particular broadcast and the corresponding advertisement cost, normalized using Cost per Thousand method. Methods: Analysis of the secondary data provided by Czech Television and internet portal Mediaguru. Emphasis on utilization of internal secondary data for the evaluation of the efficiency of advertising investments into the specific sport broadcasts. Three chosen broadcasts are FIFA Worl Cup 2014, FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2015, and The Czech Extraliga 2013/2014. The effectivness is evaluated by method Cost per Thousand. Results: The comparison of financial investments efficiency with respect to attracting a thousand spectators for the specific sport event and pinpointing the most efficient event and more specifically the most efficient part of the event. Supervisor's e-mail address: Iveta.Mrazova@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: Nowadays, it has become popular to enhance live sport streams with an augmented reality like adding various statistics over the hockey players. To do so, players must be automatically detected first. This thesis deals with such a challenging task. Our aim is to deliver not only a sufficient accuracy but also a speed because we should be able to make the detection in real time. We use one of the newer model of neural network which is a convolutional network. This model is suitable for proces- sing image data a can use input image without any preprocessing whatsoever. After our detailed analysis we choose this model as a detector for hockey players. We have tested several different architectures of the networks which we then compared and choose the one which is not only accurate but also fast enough. We have also tested the robustness of the network with noisy patterns.
