Cooperation of non-profit cultural institutions

In my paper I discuss the issue of cooperation between two cultural institutions in the peripheral part of Prague, namely the Chodovská Tvrz Cultural House and Cultural Center Zahrada. The first section is theoretical, and it is devoted to the non-profit sector from the national economy perspective. Subsequently, different types of non-profit organizations are defined. The theoretical section is concluded with a general description of the City of Prague 11 and its culture. The practical part of this paper is initially focused on the characterization of the aforementioned organizations. Next I discuss the activities and cooperation between these two cultural institutions which were merged to a non-profit organization in 2007.

Communication Protocol Optimization

This thesis deals with smart home issue, analyzes existing solutions and is focused on the system that is developed in collaboration with FIT VUT in Brno. The emphasis is on the description of client application for control and monitoring of smart home system. Furthermore, the work discussed base theoretical knowledge from internet communication field, which is closely related to these issues. The core of the work is to design a communication protocol between the server and a mobile device. Finally, the work also includes a description of a network layer at the device using this protocol. The last part is devoted to testing and evaluation of the final solution.

The topic of the thesis is work of Karel Zeman - the important Czechoslovakian film director of the second half of 20th century and his media image in the Czech media of that period. Karel Zeman is one of the leading figures of post-war cinematography, especially one of it's branch - animated film. Karel Zeman is famous for his feature films Journey to the Beginning of Time, The Fabulous World of Jules Verne and The Fabulous Baron Munchausen, in which he combined performed and animated parts. His work is so specific and so tied together with the director that after his death nobody was able to continue in it. The thesis describes in chronological way Karel Zeman's work, from the first short animated films over the most famous featured combined films to the featured animated fairy tales for children. For understanding of the whole context the thesis briefly describes beginning of animation in the world and in Czechoslovakia and also continuously touch important changes in Czechoslovakian cinematography, which directly affected Zeman's work (post-war situation, nationalization of cinematography). Strategic analysis of an enterprise

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to an analysis of strategic position of Plzensky Prazdroj, a.s. Theoretic body describes the thought sources of strategy view as a process of searching for a match between opportunities, which stem from the micro environment structure, and internal capabilities, which allow the enterprise to use these opportunities; further, it describes techniques used and characteristics evaluated during the analysis. Practical body applies these techniques upon Plzensky Prazdroj and eventually offers a conclusion on its strategic position and possible future directions of development. Thesis is concluded with several general recommendations on strategy formulation based on the preceding analysis.

Optimisation of the medical examination process in Foxconn

The main aim of this study is to describe and compare the process of medical examination in selected divisions of the Foxconn company on the basis of my personal working experience. The goal is to obtain comprehensive knowledge of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the medical examination procedure and to present a suitable optimisation of the process. The theoretical part of the study elaborates on the expert knowledge focusing on personnel management development, particular personnel processes, benefits for employees with the emphasis on medical examinations and international employment. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part describes the company Foxconn and its selected divisions. The second part contains the medical examination outcomes, a research consisting of the medical check-up monitoring and SWOT analysis of the individual processes, a proposal for process optimisation including software installation, costs, staffing and training courses. A description of research methodology is also included. In order to achieve the aim of this study qualitative methods of collecting data were used. Monitoring the whole process of medical examinations was carried out by methods of observation and half-structured dialogues with human resources officers.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the process of outsourcing of accounting from the initial steps, when the companies decide whether to use the outsourcing of accounting, through collaboration with the outsourcing provider to the eventual termination of cooperation. In the practical part you can find the description of the selected companies using information technology to provide outsourcing of accounting, that enables the most efficient course of action.

System design department for acquisition process at M&A department and its implementation in MS Sharepoint 2013

This thesis analyse the implementation of the MS SharePoint solution to the acquisition process of the selected M&A department of multinational enterprise. Analysis of the possible options to use the MS SharePoint 2013 platform for solution of the specific acquisition processes, descriptions of the recommendations for setting-up of the processes via MS SharePoint 2013 and implementation of the MS SharePoint 2013 solution in specific M&A department are the main goals of this thesis. The abovementioned goals are achieved through research in the relevant literature, research papers, based on the lectures provided by company Gopas and consultation with experts from Microsoft company as well as the practical experience of the author of this thesis. The main benefit of this thesis is the comprehensive review of the relevant areas, topics and issues and creation of the suitable solution and recommendations for the specific M&A department.

v anglickém jazyce - English abstract Protection of Right to Fair Trial in Relation to Preliminary Ruling Proceedings Right to fair trial is one of fundamental human rights, which enables individuals to effectively invoke their rights and freedoms before a lawful, impartial and independent court. In Europe, the protection of this right is guaranteed at a multi-layer level, whose layers interact: first layer is formed by constitutional orders of individual States, second layer by institutions of European Union, in particular the Court of Justice of the European Union, and a third one, that of the European Court for Human Rights. In the European Union, the Treaties have introduced the mechanism of preliminary ruling with the aim of preserving unity within the Union and of ensuring coherent interpretation and application of European law by the courts of the Member States. Preliminary ruling proceedings ensure effective cooperation between national courts and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Art. 267 TFEU provides for an obligation to request a preliminary ruling for national courts of last instance (if none of the CILFIT case law conditions is met). Supervision of employees contra management of the organization. Chance for cooperation or thread to autonomy?

This master work deals with a situation, that happens during innovating external team supervision into the Czech social settlement. During the last ten years two different worlds have met there. The managerial one which focuses mainly on control and the supervisory one, which focuses on the reflection of working condition of the supervisors. The supervisors and the managers have still been meeting each other in relatively new situation with unknown demands and they often do not cope with them. The aim of this master work is to create an information material which offers both sides the needed information that is important not only for understanding each other, but also for easier cooperation. Besides this, there is also given a draft of a way how to start the supervision, how to control it and how to acquire the best of it during fulfilling their manager goals.

Design of user interface and implementation of application for test execution in TestLink

The goal of this thesis is to design a user interface and to implement an application that is used for test execution in test management tool TestLink. This application is designed to streamline and simplify the process of test execution in this tool. The theoretical part of the thesis describes features and the interface of TestLink and compares it with other similar tools. The practical part is focused on analysis, user interface design, and implementation of the application. The outcome of this thesis is in addition to the application itself also a library written in PHP, which is used for communication with the application programming interface of TestLink and which simplifies the creation of similar applications.
