The influence of usual coverage on the content of supplement magazines of the Newspapers MF DNES, Lidové noviny and Hospodářské noviny

The master thesis "The Influence of Picture Coverage on the Content of Supplement Magazines of the Newspapers MF DNES, Lidové noviny and Hospodářské noviny" is focused on the influence of picture coverage on the production of supplements of three national daily newspapers. The research conducted within the thesis evaluates how the editors work with picture material, and combines a quantitative research of the picture coverage of the newspapers with the qualitative research of interviews with heads of the editors of the magazines. The research examines what kind of picture coverage appears in the supplements, how the editors inform about sources of the picture coverage and what is the influence of the picture coverage on production of texts and articles. Both parts of the research are compared, and as a result, the comparison shows the differences between measured data of the quantitative analysis and opinions of managers on picture coverage in their magazines. Employees satisfaction

The thesis summarizes current findings in the field of research of employee satisfaction and analyzes employee satisfaction by the example of the situation in the company 'X'. The theoretical part discusses different conceptions of employee satisfaction and their characteristics. It introduces significant theoretical approaches to employee satisfaction (amongst others, one-factor and two-factor theories). Furthermore, it focuses on factors of employee satisfaction (e.g. age, gender, working position, job security, managerial style and others). It also analyzes how employee satisfaction or dissatisfaction influences fluctuation, absenteeism and performance on the job. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes the methods used to examine employee satisfaction and familiarizes the reader with several concrete questionnaires. The main emphasis of this thesis is on the empirical part that presents fieldwork surveys of employee satisfaction under the specific conditions in the French setting. A Qualitative Study of Strategy Creation in a Sports Organization

This thesis discusses strategic management in sport. There are two main parts in the thesis. First part includes theory about strategic management, strategic management in sport and strategic planning process. In the second part there is a research which analyzes Czech hanball club HC Dukla Prague. The research is qualitive and done by personal interviews with managers, players and spectators of the club. The main purpose of the thesis is to find out how the club works with the strategy and what are the differences between theory of strategy and real actions of the club. In the end there are some recommendations for the club how to improve their strategic planning process.

Current practice and perspectives of the surrogate institutional care for the children and adolescents with behavioural disorders in the Czech Republic

The theses provide a unique view on the phenomenon of institutional care for children and adolescents with behavioural disorders in the Czech Republic. The aim of the theses was to reflect changes in the procedure of surrogate institutional care during last years and to suggest a perspective for the future development of these changes, including potential solutions to mediate emergent problems. The theoretical part of the theses describes historical roots, influences and traditions that stimulated recent development of the surrogate institutional care for children and adolescents with behavioural disorders. Furthermore, there is detailed analysis of legislation and changes that have been incorporated after 2002 as well as of the status of the surrogate institutional care in the system of complex care for problematic children. There is also evaluation of potential risks of institutional care, forms of educative care and social profiles of children that are placed in surrogate-care institutions. The research chapter of the theses includes qualitative analysis of daily regime in surrogate-care institutions, analyses internal social relationships and latent value algorithms of social workers.

The forms of parents appraisal and their influence on self-efficacy of preschool child

The theoretical part of the thesis deals at first with the theoretical principles of self-efficacy. The subsequent part treats of the developmental characteristics of preschool stage with a view to connection with the parents appraisal. The final part aims at appraisal, in term of general approach to the child, in term of rewards and punishments and in term of the appraisal as a formalizing agent in the formation of the basics of self-efficacy. The empirical part presents a research on forms of mothers appraisal on children accomplishments and failures while performing a specific task. The quantitative analysis traces appearance of forms of appraisal and their influence on child selfefficacy. The qualitative part is focusing especially on mothers non-appraising reactions on children while performing a specific task.

La reelección encontró en América Latina en los últimos anos una amplia atención. Desde 1994 al menos cinco países adoptaron forma de la reelección presidencial y en otros países la discusión se ha puesta a marcha. El objetivo de esta tesis es sefialar las principales rasgos de la reelección presidencial en América Latina. La tesis está dividia en cinco capítulos: Segundo capítulo se refiere a la história y origen de las constituciones latinoamericanas. The Emotional inteligence of pre-school children

The thesis deals with the emotional intelligence and the emotional development of preeschool children. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of the terms children's emotional intelligence, emotions, emotional difficulties and also on possibilities of the emotional intelligence development. The aim of the practical part is to encourage the emotional intelligence development and to catch the process of realization in a group of children. This is complemented by a case history. The study is carried out with qualitative method by way of dialogue and involved observation. The conclusion of the thesis describes the project's realization progress and it finds out the utility of applied techniques from the point of view of the emotional intelligence development support.

Application of special educators in residential social and health services for the elderly

Rigorous thesis presents the possibility of employment of special pedagogues in residential health and social facilities for seniors. There are understood primarily homes for the elderly, special regime homes and hospitals for terminal illnesses. In relation to the theoretical character of this thesis there was used a research method for analysis and compilation of scientific texts in order to provide a comprehensive overview of current information about the problems of work. The rigorous thesis is in terms of content divided into seven chapters, where the first one deals mainly with codifying the profession of special pedagogues in social and health services. The second chapter presents the residential facilities of social and health services. The third chapter presents the employment of special pedagogues in residential facilities for seniors in the scheme of advisor - diagnostician - therapist. The last three chapters then discuss these roles in detail and present practical guidelines and procedures that can be used in work with seniors in these facilities. New IHL Framework for Cyber Warfare

NEW IHL FRAMEWORK FOR CYBER WARFARE - ABSTRACT Regarding the increasing number of revealed cyber-attacks aimed at public facilities including the governmental ones by who seems to be other state actors, this thesis aims to reveal the major importance of cyber warfare, point out the fatal vacuum regarding the IHL framework currently in force and suggests its completion by a new IHL convention, which would regulate cyberwarfare in International Armed Conflicts. In order to provide a well-structured and pertinent arguments to support its main points, the thesis uses methods of qualitative analysis of the current IHL sources including international treaties, customary law and work of the main institutions of international justice along with work of judicial scholars and cyber experts. The work contains five main chapters. The first chapter presents the underlining principles of Laws of Wars, including its theory, history and development; and focuses on one of its three main regimes - the International Humanitarian Law. This master's thesis aims to describe legislation of international and national double taxation. Furthermore, this paper deals with the term tax and puts down following questions: what does a tax represent; what is the subject of a tax; who is a resident and who is a non-resident. At the same time the master's thesis focuses on the history of international double taxation, consequences of double taxation and last but not least on the tax avoidance. The master's thesis is comprised of three chapters that are divided into more detailed subchapters. The first chapter deals with a tax as such in the Czech legal system and primarily deals with a tax as the most important source of financing of state budgets because the whole public sector is funded by taxes. Furthermore, it introduces to the issue of double taxation as a negative economic phenomenon for taxpayers and to the methods of the state intervention into a removal of double taxation whether national or international.
