Athletics in physical education from the perspective of grammar school students

Title: Athletics in physical education from the perspective of grammar school students Aim: The aim of this thesis is to determine how grammar school students in selected regions view athletics in physical education classes and their relationship to the sport as a whole and its individual disciplines. Methods: The thesis is based on the quantitative research conducted among grammar school students of third and fourth grades in selected regions of the Czech Republic. The data obtained from the questionnaires were analysed in Microsoft Excel and SPSS programs. Basic descriptive characteristics were identified and then processed into tables and charts. Results were verified in a manner based on the nature of the variables, using either the Chi-square test, Mann-Whitney non-parametric test or Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Tests were conducted at 5%, resp. 1% level of significance. Results: Athletics are perceived as negative by 40.1 % of responding students - with girls prevailing over boys in this group. The perception of athletics is mostly influenced by teachers of physical education, but also depends on the level of physical activity. The aim of the diploma thesis is to map out the important issues that affect the lifestyles of teenagers, mainly in relation to the secondary school environment, school documents, such as ŠVP, RVP, high-risk behavior and the influence of subcultures. The special topic of this diploma thesis is to analyze the teaching mathematics at a particular secondary school related to the healthy lifestyles of the current student's population. The diploma thesis also focuses on the important aspect of this topic, the interaction teacher - pupil, the aim of this section is to document and analyze whether the students perceive their teacher's approach to a healthy lifestyle and whether it's something that personally affects them. Self Management of Pupils of The Business Academy and The College of Turism and Language School in Karlovy Vary

The thesis deals with student participation in the life of the school and more specifically with the work of student self-administration. The goal of the theoretical part is to define the concept of student participation and all its accessible forms. To outline the life of students self-administrations and present a current picture of the issue of student participation in the Czech Republic. To compare international experience with the work of student self-administration, as mainly in the course of the last couple of years there have been changes in thinking about student participation. The theoretical context serves as a basis for the empirical part of the paper. The main goal of the investigation is to analyze and describe the work of student self-administration at a chosen high school. The research also describes what possibilities and limits students as well as the management and teachers feel there are in relation to successful operation of student self-administration. The research was realized using a mixed qualitative/quantitative model (QUAN - QVAL scheme). The sample comprises of students, members of the student self-administration, teachers and management of a chosen high school.
Problematics of inclusive education of pupils with mild mental disability

This master thesis will concentrate on problems of inclusive education of pupils with mild retardation in primary school. The thesis will be split into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, terms such as mental retardation, inclusion, inclusive education, inclusive school, and inclusive class will be defined, along with other terms which are interconnected with these issues. The theoretical part of the thesis will end with a chapter on education of pupils with mild mental retardation in primary school, elaborating on conditions which are important for successful inclusive education as well as problems and benefits which inclusive education may bring about. The practical part will deal with analyse and description of the process of inclusive education of pupils with mild mental retardation in chosen secondary school in Prague. For gathering the necessary data, qualitative and quantitative methods of research will be used.

(Attachements: 13 files) The diploma thesis bears character of a reflective study, based on the principles of participative research, research by A/R/Tography method and pedagogical action research according to the methodology of Marie Fulková. With respect to the results of a previous bachelor thesis, the author turns attention to the subject of re-design as a possible solution to diverse intricacies occuring in school environment. The author also looks critically at contemporary DIY methods often used in arts education. The thesis also describes a re-design of a clothing artifact "Dinosaurs", an original work by the author, and reflections on realized didactic complexes, that are thematically bounded by the diploma thesis' assignment and elaboration. The aim of the diploma thesis is to map issues of re-design with focus to apparel, its didactic transformation and verification of practical functionality of the resulting didactic complex.

The Diploma Thesis Teacher's Creativity in the Educational process at Primary School for Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities deals with the development of reading skills and competency of students through the reading workshop technique. The thesis is divided in two parts. The first theoretical part is focused on the definition of the basic terms, such as creativity, creative teaching, creative teacher, educational process, and so on. Furthermore, it focuses on the theoretical concepts of the reading workshop technique. In the practical part, which is taken as a case study, the author examines the practical use of reading workshop technique, through which she tries to improve the reading competency of students. The second part is focused on the reading workshop technique functionality in practice. Particularly, the author deals with the practical application of the reading workshop technique on students at Primary School for Students with Mild Intellectual Disabilities.

PhDr. Martin Raudenský, Ph.D. Abstrakt: This thesis deals with the creation of graphical worksheet (author of the book) in the form of illustrations associated with the text that will serve as an educational tool in institutions such as art galleries and museums with similar functionality as the gallery animation. Books (worksheet) are designed for production intended for children, with the parents, adolescents, or even random visitors. I created a variant of the worksheet has drafted according to the age of the users. Author book (worksheet) applies to a gallery and exhibition occurring in it. Work packages are factually created in two variants - package for a family with children or a group of younger pupils in colored graphic design and enhanced content for creating things. A simplified package for older visitors gallery, only with a pencil, which is even less economically demanding.
