Kubalová, Barbora ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Pánek, David (referee)
Title: Evaluation of training effect with elements of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on shooting velocity by female handball players of the 1st league in the Czech Republic Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine, whether completing an exercise program based on elements of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and using elastic band resistance can influence shooting velocity by female handball players. Methods: In this randomized control study 25 female handball players, who are playing the 1st league in Havlíčkův Brod, were divided into experimental (n = 13) and control group (n = 12). Both groups underwent an initial shooting velocity measurement (PRE) using radar gun Stalker Pro II. Then experimental group completed 6-week exercise program, based on D2 flexion and extension from proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation against elastic band resistance. The control group did not perform any exercise like that. Both groups otherwise completed the same training program during the preparatory phase. After that the shooting velocity was again measured (POST). The results were statistically processed in the Jamovi using two-way repeated measures ANOVA. Results: There was a statistically significant improvement in shooting velocity of the control and experimental groups in the...

Title: Relation between throwing velocity and accuracy in women handball. Objectives: The main of this thesis is finding of relation between throwing velocity and accuracy among difference performance levels and difference gaming experience female handball players. Methods: As part of the survey, a one-off measurements of the maximum throwing velocity and accuracy throwing was performed for two groups women handball players. Speed measurement was performed using radar device Stalker PRO II. The measurement was performed by one-handed overarm throw in three different ways. The resulting values are statistically processed in MS Excel 2007. I used the testing method and the observation method. Results: The results of this thesis show close relation between throwing velocity and accuracy in women handball. Both groups exceeded 90% border of the maximum throwing velocity when trying to hit a defined space. Keywords: Team handball, throwing velocity, throwing accuracy
Approaches to cultivating game performance in sport games at school physical education.

In this comparison we will focus on the impact of these ways of teaching with respect to team gaming performance. Methods: In this work, we used video analysis, from which we derived quantitative and comparative analysis of qualitative findings. We compared the individual results on the basis of the method of teaching used in class. Results: From a comparison of groups undergoing technical and tactical approaches to teaching sports games, we found that groups undergoing tactical approaches to teaching improved more in team performance in goal sports games. Title: Evaluation of the ability to dynamically stabilize and postural strategy of Czech female handball players Author: Bc. Michaela Pešková Aim: The main objective of the diploma thesis is to investigate the difference of dynamic postural stability and its strategy between female handball players in the Czech republic and the group of women, who don't practise any sport. For the objectivization is used a dynamic posturography Smart EquiTest by NeuroCom company. Methods: The participants of this quantitative cross-sectional study are 44 women, divided into the experimental (24 handball players) and the control group (20unsporting women) in the age from 18 to 28 years old. Measurements of dynamic postural stability were performed on Smart EquiTest by Neurocom in the Kinesiological Laboratory at the department of the physiotherapy on Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University. The whole test battery contains 7 testing protocols. The measured data from z Neurocom Balance Manager Software were exported to Microsoft Excel 2016, where were used other statistical methods like Shapiro - Wilk test, Student's T-test, Mann - Whitney test and Cohen's d effect size.. Clinical evaluation of ROM of shoulder joint in cadet and junior category players of so-called overhead sports
Benda, Petr ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Žáková, Lenka (referee)
The title of the master thesis: Clinical evaluation of ROM of shoulder joint in cadet and junior category players of so-called overhead sports Abstract in English language: The goal of this thesis is to elucidate whether the "overhead" athletes like handballers and volleyballers suffer from extension changes and local hypermobility in their shoulder joints. These changes are going to be described by trigonometric measurements and hypermobility tests by Sachse. It is going to be determined which "overhead" athletes are affected the most. Their sex is going to be taken into consideration. The theoretical part of the thesis describes selected "overhead" sports and their strain on a human body from a kinesiologic point of view. Especially the impact of offensive blows in volleyball and throws in handball on shoulder joints are going to be examined. The thesis is going to examine a shoulder girdle from an anatomy, kinesiology, biomechanics, and physiology point of view. A chapter focused on hypermobility and it is classification is included too. 95 people without a prior injury of a shoulder joint in the age from 16 to 19 years old including 73 "overhead" athletes were tested. There were 30 men, 40 women, 34 handballers, and 39 volleyballers. In the control group, there were 22 people, of which 11 men and 11...
