Data Analysis of a Company Producing Medical Supplies

This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the company's sales data, specifically the classification of the customer's type according to his sales data. It provides a theoretical introduction to data mining. It describes the classification process and methods for creating classifiers and presents the CRISP-DM model. This thesis describes the provided data sets, from which the relevant attributes are selected. The data are preprocessed and used in the creation and testing of classification models. The result of this thesis is a comparison of the achieved results.
Complex On-Line Training Diary

Design and implementation of online training diary for athletes is the main goal of this thesis. At the beginning, it was necessary to explain some of key words, related to the thesis topic. One of the most important things is data mining and its usability for sports data analysis. After that, existing solutions of sport applications were analyzed and also it was obligatory to analyze potential users requirements. Application design, implementation and testing were the next steps. Some of data mining methods were used for analysis of sports data intended for individual athletes and their coaches.
Analysis of Outlier Detection Methods

The topic of this thesis is analysis of methods for detection of outliers. Firstly, a description of outliers and various methods for their detection is provided. Then a description of selected data sets for testing of methods for detection of outliers is given. Next, an application design for the analysis of the described methods is presented. Then, technologies are presented, which provide models for described methods of detection of outliers. The implementation is then described in more detail. Subsequently, the results of experiments are presented, which represent the main part of this thesis. The results are evaluated and the individual models are compared with each other. Lastly, a method for accelerating outlier detection is demonstrated.
New Layout Methods in a CSS Rendering Engine

The goal of this thesis is to explore the CSSBox experimental rendering engine, to study new ways of layout the content of web pages, which are Grid layout and Flexbox layout, using CSS language and to design appropriate modifications for their integration into CSSBox library. At first, the CSS language is described, including detailed descriptions of the new layouts, followed by a proposal for the solution itself. The thesis also deals with a detailed description of the implementation part, which is then tested on a test set. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates the results, including the reported shortcomings and other possibilities for development.
Application for Generating and Printing of Labels in the SAP System

The goal of this diploma thesis is the design and implementation of an application for generating and printing address labels in the SAP system. The work also explains the basic concepts of the SAP system and describes the technologies for creating print forms as SAP Adobe Form and SAP SmartForm. Lastly, it describes the solution of printing 1D and 2D barcodes and setting up the communication between the SAP system and the printer. The result of this work is an analysis of form creation, subsequent design of a solution for generating forms as address label, sheet of 21 address labels, Czech Post delivery notes, Czech Post delivery sheet and its implementation in the SAP system. The conclusion of the work is testing the created solution and proposing future improvements.
UML Diagrams Conversion between Visual Paradigm and Text-Based Formats

This master's thesis deals with possibilities of modifying and extending functionality of Visual Paradigm with plug-ins as well as the study of tools for creating UML diagrams. The primary goal of this thesis is to describe graphical tools and simultaneously, the less known variants of creating UML diagrams. Those are tools that process text UML formats. Special attention is given to text tool PlantUML and to the graphical tool Visual Paradigm. Furthermore, the thesis deals with use of the Visual Paradigm open interface for programmers to create plug-ins. The main output is an implemented plug-in that allows you to convert UML diagrams between Visual Paradigm and text format PlantUML, which was published as open source software. Grammar for the PlantUML language have also been created for this plug-in.
Information System for a Swing Dance School

This thesis deals with designing and creating an information and registration system for a swing dance school. The system is created as a web application based on Firebase development platform. The JavaScript framework Angular was chosen for implementation of the presentation part. The most important functions of the system are processing of registrations and payments for dance courses and automatic communication with clients. The system was designed, implemented and tested. 
Methods for Mining Sequential Patterns

Sequential pattern mining is a field of data mining with wide applications. Currently, there are a number of algorithms and approaches to the problem of sequential pattern mining. The aim of this work is to design and implement an application designed for sequential pattern mining and use it to experimentally compare the chosen algorithms. Experiments are performed with both synthetic and real databases. The output of the work is a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm for different kinds of input databases and an application implementing the selected algorithms of the SPMF library.

Statistical Analysis of Data from PDF Files

This thesis is concerning the process of data extraction from tables from documents in PDF format and their subsequent analysis with the exploitation of statistical methods. The goal of this thesis is to demonstrate the process of obtaining, processing and analyzing data from PDF files, which, in consideration of their program processing, create a finite number of subgroups with common characteristics. Firstly, the reader will become acquainted with the fundamentals of PDF file processing and basic mathematical principles that are required in order to statistically evaluate given data. Obtained theoretical principles are then applied to practical use and programming form in the Python programming language. The resulting web application is programmed using the Flask Python library and is usable on a local server.
