Singing Scales in the Lower Grades of Primary School with a Focus on the First Grade

The diploma thesis deals with a problem of non-singing (unmusical) young children. It presents and evaluates methods of solution in contemporary practice of primary school teachers. Theoretical part is devoted to children's voice, different approaches of teachers to the improvement/remedy of non- singing/unmusical children, analysis of commercial textbooks and methodological handbooks for the first class which are used now in teaching practice at primary schools. The second part is composed of a research probe. Using questionnaires, information on the method of solving the problem of non- singing/unmusical children in contemporary practice has been obtained. My Degree Work deals with activation methods in a primary school. The goal of the dissertation is to find out the instruction potential of games. The work monitores at the same time whether a game, as a teaching method, can contribute to forming a positive climate of a class. In the theoretical part there is collected knowledge of pedagogical literature concerning an influence of a game, as a method , on an educational process, activation of pupils and climate of a class. In meiner Diplomarbeit habe ich mich mit den Organisationsformen im Mathematikunterricht beschäftigt. Ich wollte nicht nur diese Problematik in Betracht nehmen, sondern mich auf den ganzen Bildungsprozess richten. Ich glaube, dass die einzelnen Teile des Bildungsprozesses nicht allein angesehen werden sollen, weil sie sich gegeneinander beeinflussen. Nur gemeinsame harmonische Verflechtung bedeutet einen effektiven und erfolgreichen Bildungsprozess. Den Nachdruck habe ich auf zwei Sachen gelegt. Erstens ist die Didaktik der Mathematik wichtig. Für einen guten Unterricht muss man alle Zusammenhänge gut überlegen, d.h. das Erkenntnissgefüge der Schüler, ihre Denkweise, die Charakteristik der Zielgruppc usw. Zweitens sollte man nicht nur die intellektuelle Seite der Schüler in Einsicht nehmen, sondern sich auf ihre ganzheitliche Persönlichkeit richten. A Programme for Teaching - The French Beginner in the Third Grade

Dans ce mémoire, j 'ai essayé d'élaborer un programme pour le français niveau débutant en classe de troisième qui corresponde au profil de notre école. Comme j 'enseigne dans cette école depuis cinq ans, je connais déjà le milieu et le style de travail qui y est pratiqué. En rédigeant j 'ai analysé la situation dans ma propre classe, la confrontant avec celle de mes collègues dans d'autres établissements. Après avoir validé le niveau des objectifs généraux et les méthodes pour les atteindre avec la coordinatrice du Programme scolaire Mgr. Naďa Černá, j 'ai tenté de tester la théorie avec mes élèves de l'année précédante en mettant en oeuvre les activités prévues (cf. photos illustrant l'atmosphère en classe) et j 'ai constaté que les élèves parviennent à les remplir sans grands problèmes. The diploma thesis "Financial literacy at secondary school VIZE" is focused on the level of financial literacy at this school. This school is a part of the prison Jiřice. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part and the practical part. The first one deals with financial literacy. It analyses its components, the definition and development. It also includes forms and methods of teaching financial literacy. The second one, practical part, is focused on the research. This research deals with the level of financial literacy of people in prison, who are educated at SŠ VIZE.

TITTLE: Mathematics on the chessboard AUTHOR: Jiří Šperl DEPARTMENT: The Department of mathematics and the teaching of mathematics SUPERVISOR: RNDr. Antonín Jančařík, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The main subject of my thesis is mathematical problems on the chessboard using chess pieces. The work aims to demonstrate how a secondary school student would approach and solve several typical mathematical tasks of this nature. Consequently, it outlines ways to incorporate chessboard mathematical problems and exercises in mathematical classes. Moreover, the thesis includes a compact collection of solved problems on the chessboard that can serve as an inspiring source of unconventional mathematical tasks in conventional mathematical education. My own mathematical research forms a major part of the thesis. The research was conducted as a series of tests in three school classes. In order to achieve a high de- gree of objectivity classes of students with different specializations were selected to take part in the tests. The participating classes were also of different age groups. The theoretical part of the thesis takes a look at the past of the subject and presents several interesting historical problems concerning the mathematics on the chess- board.
