The History of Sokol in Písek

This bachelor thesis is concerned with history of Sokol organization in Písek from its foundation up to today. During its evolution in time, activities of Sokol faced many adversities and the organization was also disbanded several times. Members of Sokol were very proud and honest patriots. They defended the republic during World War I., fought in Czechoslovak legions and acted as military police preventing plundering and total chaos. The expansion after World War II., referenced as the Golden Age, lasted only for 20 years, until its interruption by World War II. Despite difficult conditions the organization attained a particular level of development. Every fifteenth citizen of the country was its member and the number of participating members got close to 1 million. Sokol supported a sense for Czech patriotism, which culminated by the means of a demonstration on the 20th Sokol festival in 1938. In the following difficult war period, Sokol members were persecuted for their patriotism by Nazi occupants, about 12 000 members were imprisoned and 3 300 of them died in concentration camps. Also, Písek members lost their best officials and participants. In the 1941 the organization was dissolved again and its property was confiscated. After long 40 years of communist totalitarian rule and its eventual collapse, Sokol organization came back to life in 1990. The system of physical training has been greatly transformed since then, as the whole training sector went through major innovations. Earlier Sokol`s exercising is now conceived as an universal preparation for children and conditional training for adults, but now based on a modern attitude. Many changes in form and content helped to attract new supporters.

Human resource management is currently regarded as one of the most important areas of management of the organization. Its task is to ensure and maintain sufficient number of skilled and motivated employees and their optimum use to achieve the planned prosperity and competitiveness of the organization. This task is pursued through partial personnel activities (the creation and analysis of jobs, personnel planning, acquisition, selection, recruitment and orientation of staff, evaluation and compensation of staff, training and staff development, welfare of staff, etc.), at which securing usually recruiters and leading staff of all levels of management of the organization participate. The aim of thesis is to analyse the selected personnel activities in Sandvik Chomutov Precision Tubes spol. s r.o. and on the basis of theoretical knowledge and the data obtained to identify the strengths and weaknesses, to reason them and to try to propose alternative solutions.

Life without a father: gain and loss

The number of fatherless families has risen radically due to a high divorce rate and rigid court decisions about custody over children after divorce. Over the last few decades, psychological findings highlight specific contribution of the father to the development of a child. Fatherless families have been focused on by many researchers, trying to identify fields of negative impact of growing up without a father. However, the results are mixed and do not give clear answers, one of the main reasons being the methodological difficulty to control all the important variables such as reason and duration of the father's absence ar availability of surrogate male models. In this study we propose to identify cue areas that absent-father-people view as specific both in a positive and negative sense. The grounded theory method was used to analyze the data gathered by open interviews with people who have never lived with a father or a father surrogate. The following categaries revealed by a coding process are discussed - partner relationships (especially of girls), locus of control, personality of the mother and her educational style and impact of broader family or community.

Firemní kultura se postupně stává jedním z fenoménů stávajícího moderního managementu a to i přesto, že je ve své vlastní podstatě nesnadno uchopitelná, těžce definovatelná a postižitelná. Jeden z důvodů proč tomu tak je, lze spatřovat v jejím významném vlivu na dlouhodobě sledované (nejčastěji hospodářské) ukazatele firmy. Firemní kultura se tak na jedné straně může pozitivně podílet na rostoucí síle a konkurenceschopnosti organizace, na straně druhé se však může stát destruujícím prvkem firmy. V odborné literatuře se s pojmem firemní, podniková a dnes nejčastěji organizační kultura setkáváme často. Ačkoli stále neexistuje jednotný pohled na tuto problematiku ze strany odborné veřejnosti, můžeme firemní kulturu obecně pojímat jako ustálený systém společně sdílených hodnot, představ, norem, postojů a vzorců chování ze strany zaměstnanců, který ve svém důsledku pozitivně ovlivňuje dění ve firmě a to jak přímo, tak zprostředkovaně.

Deictic verbs andare and venire

Impulsy pro napsání této diplomové práce, jejímž předmětem bude pojednání o deiktických slovesech pohybu andare a venirer byly vpodstatě dva. Prvním z nich bylo zjištění, že je užití těchto sloves podmíněno pragmatickými mechanizmy, které vnášejí do jazykového systému kognitivní mimojazykové skutečnosti. Rozhodla jsem se proto tyto pragmatické principy lépe poznat. Druhým impulsem byla možnost využít italský jazykový korpus Ita/net, obsahující staré italské texty, a také dostupnost jiných elektronických souborů jazykových dat v italském jazyce, kterou nám v dnešní moderní době umožňuje tzv. umělá inteligence. Ta poskytuje široké příležitosti pracovat s jazykovým materiálem nově, cíleně a velmi účelně. Práce s jazykovými korpusy, dnes souhrnně nazývaná korpusová lingvistika, otevírá všem jejím zájemcům zcela nové a dosud nepoznané jazykovědné horizonty. Ráda bych proto touto prací také, alespoň maličko, přispěla k tomuto otevírání nových lingvistických obzorů. Každý, kdo, byť jen okrajově, studoval italský jazyk, se již v prvních kapitolách všech učebních příruček setkal se slovesy pohybu andare a venire. Jejich ekvivalenty nebo slovesa, která se italských slovesům andare a venire významově blíží, existují v mnoha jazycích, a také v češtině. Neměl by proto existovat žádný důvod, který by vnášel do jejich...

Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and the Czech „Opt out“: Study 3.081

Bruselský summit Evropské rady přijal dne 30. 10. 2009 protokol k závěrům předsednictví. Protokol o uplatňování Listiny základních práv v České republice spočívá v tom, že se Česká republika začleňuje do protokolu č. 30 o uplatňování Listiny základních práv Evropské unie v Polsku a ve Spojeném království. Protokol č. 30 je už začleněn do Lisabonské smlouvy v jejím sjednaném znění. Znění protokolu pro Českou republiku bude (po jeho začlenění do smluvního základu v rámci přístupové smlouvy) shodné jako pro ostatní dva státy. Protokol č. 30 má dva články, dá se však rozdělit do 3 částí. Článek 1 odst. 1 se týká Listiny základních práv EU jako celku, článek 1 odst. 2 se v podstatě týká sociálních práv, článek 2 se týká interpretace určitých pojmů použitých v rámci Listiny základních práv EU. Protokol č. 30 Lisabonské smlouvy a tedy i „český“ protokol, až bude začleněn do smluvního základu EU, vytvoří pro Soudní dvůr více explicitních překážek, pokud by snad chtěl rozšířit pravomoci EU i mimo dosud dané hranice a aplikovat Listinu základních práv EU jako obecně a přímo účinné právo EU. Po prozkoumání protokolu je nutno konstatovat, že obyvatelé České republiky přijetím „českého“ protokolu o žádná práva (ve srovnání s ostatními členskými státy EU) nepřichází. Vnitrostátní soudy i Soudní dvůr nebo další orgány budou moci použít všechna ustanovení Listiny základních práv EU pro interpretaci výkonu všech smluvních pravomocí Unie jak v České republice, tak ve shodném rozsahu v ostatních členských státech.

Euroregion Těšínské Slezsko

The diploma thesis describes cross border cooperation. For better understanding, Euroregion Těšínské Slezsko is used as an example. The aim of diploma thesis is describe the importance of cross border cooperation and how the borders regions try to eliminate negatives like unemployment, bad infrastructure, distance from the capitol of the country, and emigration to other regions. Euroregion is the contract which helped czech and polish sites cooperate more easily. Czechs and Poles cooperate especially in project selection and realisation. The Euroregion has a lot of positives, but I found one area where the euroregion could improve. There isn't enough cooperation between czech and polish schools.

Revitalization Program of Floral Garden in Kromeriz

The main point of this project is to activate now unused and neglected area of orange and Dutch gardens, while responding to the context of the garden and complement it. The design does not overshadow the historical value and beauty of the garden forms, as is known from the engravings created just after its completion. The result is a conception of "the journey" as an extension of the axis activity (input object - rabbit Hill - aviary) and location of activities on the intersection of "reactions" and builtable territory.

Baroque site Skalka near by city Mníšek pod Brdy This bachelor thesis treats about Baroque site Skalka near by city Mníšek pod Brdy; about his build and destiny from past to present. First part treats about history of the city Mníšek pod Brdy, site Skalka and consequently about founder Ignác Engel z Engelsflussu and about stock Engel. Below is briefly life description of countess Benedikta Čejková, which invited Franciscan monks at the Skalka. About these Francisce monks is treatised in self charter. Next part thesis describes the individual objects in site: chapel Sv. Mary Magdalene, monastery, hermitage and fourteen cruciate chapels. Last part thesis disserts upon destiny site Skalka under rule communist authoritarianism; about buildings destruction by ironstone mining under the Skalka. In the end is mentioned renovation of buildings, this renovation began in nineties twentieth century and takes till today.

Is it myself in the mirror?

in English A beautiful and healthy body now indicates a happy and contented life, and that is why our society is so obsessed by it. It was transformed into a commercial object, and the borders to which we can manipulate with it are pushed even further. At the same time, many people realize the necessity of cooperation with the body in order to reach a physical and mental health. Voices are heard calling for prevention of exploitation of human bodies and against the lowering of human dignity. We can see showing up different kinds of oriental philosophy, psychosomatic medicine or psychoterapeutic approaches targeted at the body, which are trying to outweigh the trends treating the body as a mere commodity. In spite of those efforts, the number of people with impaired perception and experiencing of their own body is still growing. The most frequent and most discussed are the eating disorders, which endanger seriously all aspects of a person's life. Most of the disorders will develop during adolescence, and that is why in my research I focused on the mapping of corporal experience of young people.
