Typology of North Korea's Behavior: Analysis of the relations between the US and DPRK
Štroblová, Radka ; Hornát, Jan (advisor) ; Sehnálková, Jana (referee)
Since the accession of Donald J. Trump to the presidency, there have been many significant events that have affected the United States' relations with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea - from testing North Korean nuclear weapons, to verbal insults to both officials, to a historical meeting of the leaders of both Korean states in the demilitarized zone, a joint performance by South Korean and North Korean athletes at the Pyongyang Winter Olympics, to the historic Singapore Summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-un. However, the second meeting of both representatives in Hanoi ended prematurely - without signing the planned joint statement. Relations between the United States of America and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are constantly developing. The main theme of the talks in the past was the complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula to ensure lasting peace and stability for the region. The North Korean nuclear program and efforts to reduce it have thus become a major issue in multilateral negotiations, with the Republic of Korea, China, Russia and Japan participating in addition to the United States and North Korea. North Korea, however, often sabotaged the talks and the period of cooperation was interrupted by provocations and hostile...

Rosendorfová, Johana ; Hrabec, Ondřej (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to contribute to further development of the concept of a play style of both male and female video game players, and to highlight the relevance of studying video games in relation to the female population. The target of this work was to uncover the play styles of adult female video game players, for which I propose approaching the play style as an element of the interaction process between the player and her environment (fellow male and female players and the general public). In the main part of the work I propose a contextual model of play style and arrive at a categorization of gender specific play styles and their relation to the concepts of agency and communion. The results were reached by in depth analysis of interviews with female video game players.

Kašparová, Zuzana ; Horák, Tomáš (advisor) ; Ferklová, Blanka (referee)
(in English): The submitted bachelor's thesis deals with the category of number with focus on Korean. The thesis deals both with the concept of singularity and plurality and with number as a grammatical category. The emphasis is placed on a specific phenomenon of Korean where the plural suffix appears even on non-nominal sentence elements and therefore it brings new semantic and pragmatic functions. A general presentation of the category of number with regard to Skalička's language typology is provided in the theoretical part. The main topic of the thesis is number in Korean - it studies on the means by which it can be expressed and it focuses specifically on the plural suffix -tŭl, which is the most common frequent way of expressing plural in Korean. The suffix -tŭl has two main types. The thesis deals both with the more "traditional" one that appears on countable nouns and pronouns and also with more complicated cases that appear with verbs and adverbs etc. The (un)productivity of the phenomenon is outlined in the end of the text.
