Jiří Trunda ABSTRAKT The changeover of kindergarten culture after taking the office by a new director This bachelor project deals with problems of the alteration in the school culture after assuming the office of Director. The theoretical part is based on scientific literature, which explains a culture of the school, its diagnostics, the evaluation and consequent changes. The research part tries to investigate the actual situation of the school culture in the specific institution. It attempts to identify problematic factors of school culture using analysis of data and find out how to initiate a convenient process leading to alteration of school culture. The question was if it is necessary to involve employees in the process or leave this difficult task on a director. The answer to the question "How to change a school culture" is certainly very difficult, because of different conditions in each school, different people working in the school and last but not least different values and attitudes, which they share. Management of Hairdresser´s Salon

Diploma thesis develops subject of operation of hairdresser’s saloon in Brno. It introduces analysis of saloon management and evaluation of reasons why saloon’s principal strategic objectives defined by owner before reconstruction in 2007 are not being fulfilled. Simultaneously, it suggests modifications and changes that lead to more effective saloon management, from both management and strategic point of view. Consequently, it brings more stable clients and positive financial effect. Proposal part covers specific potentialities how to define saloon’s objectives, communicate them toward employees and how to communicate with customers. Necessity of communication and pro-active approach result from other analyses as well.
The Analysis of Manager´s Directing Style in Administration

This Diploma work characterizes managerial styles of the managers in public administration. It is divided into two structure parts. In a theoretic level, the work introduces and describes themes such as management, manager, managerial positions, managerial functions, management styles, communications, motivation, delegation and public administration. In the own part of Diploma work the knowledge from a theoretic part is applied to analyse the management style in public administration. The analysis was made by a controlled interview with chosen managers. From these controlled interviews the information was taken, from which was prepared a summary and a recommendation. In these interviews each manager evaluated his own manager style. On the basis of results from these interviews the manager style was classified to each manager. After that everything was commented and the recommendations were declared, how to practise the manager style to the best final labour effect.
Analysis of managerial styles within a business

This Diploma work deals with the issue of managerial style of the managers. The aim is to analyze managerial style of managers of enterprise Dransy, compare these styles and find the most suitable one considering the position of managers within the hierarchy and their team roles. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part contains characteristics of terms of management and manager and definition of managerial roles in the enterprise. There are also described individual managerial styles in this part of the work. Practical part deals with analysis of managerial styles, comparing these styles and based on this analysis and comparison the most suitable style is suggested considering the business climat, culture and the position of managers in the company.
The evaluation of management style

Manager is a component of an organization who carries out management activities. Manager uses a certain style for such activities. Management style is an integral part of every manager. According to it, you can determine the properties and effectiveness of a manager. This Bachelor thesis focuses on styles of managers' work. The aim of the work is to evaluate the style of management. This Bachelor thesis contains an explanation of the theory regarding management. The theoretical part deals with the concept of a manager and the manager's role in the organization. Also, it describes the management styles, their origin and characteristics. In the analytical part, the work of a manager from the company DMcom s.r.o. is evaluated. In the work itself, the characteristics of the analysed company and the characteristics of the lead manager are described. The analysis was carried out using a questionnaire survey of the workers. The results are illustrated by the sectoral charts for each specific question. Overall, it was found that the manager does not always use a certain established style. Everything depends on a situation and surrounding conditions.
Managerial Functions with a View to Leadership

The thesis deals with the managerial funkcions with a view to leadership. The main objective of the thesis is to evaluate the way of leadership in the company ČECH-ODPADY s.r.o. based on analysis. The thesis consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical one is focused on summary of findings from professional literature in the field of managerial functions with a view to leadership. The practical part deals with research specific for the above stated company, including comments of the results. To obtain the necessary information were used techniques of data collection: observation, interview and questionnaire. The conclusion is evaluated leading people in the company, which is at the very good level, and the recommendations are designed to ensure further prosperity. The proposed measures include the participation of executives in management courses, more frequent use of praise, greater delegation and continuing compliance with consistency.

The diploma thesis focuses on the formulation of the concept of leadership. I would like to analyze what is the essence of the leadership and what forms can be found according to sources available. The comparison with real subjects in the management field shall take place. The thesis outcomes will present recommendations based on survey carried out. These recommendations should contribute to a more effective function of the company hand in hand with more satisfied employees.

Changes in this sphere are the opportunities and threats coming from the external environment of the company which the company management must be able to respond to. The proposed changes in the organizational structure should contribute to the achievement of company strategic goals.
