Children's Perception of Advertisement Targeting on Social Media

This bachelor thesis focuses on children's perception of advertisement targeting on social media. The aim of this paper is to discover how the mechanism of advertisement targeting on social networks is understood by Czech children aged 13-15 as they are heavy users of these platforms. A quantitative method in the form of a questionnaire was used for this exploratory research. The results show that adolescents understand little about advertisement targeting on social sites and have particularly small awareness of social platforms using data collected in the background. Findings from this research can be foundational for a change in regulation or future research in this field.
Local Government's Approach to D3 Highway Construction: Case Study of City of Tábor

Local government's approach to D3 highway construction: case study of city of Tábor Abstract This thesis analyzes attitudes by political representatives from local administration of two biggest cities in southern Bohemia towards D3 highway. The main part of analysis focuses on district city of Tábor and partially on regional metropolis of České Budějovice. D3 Highway is supposed to become not only the important intrastate corridor but also the new connection between Czechia and Austria. Projected impacts of highway are compared with literature while the thesis concentrates on perception assessment of D3 highway by political representatives from selected city of Tábor. The main evaluation criterion is the perception of D3 highway as one of the basic requirement for general development of the region. The Motivation Issue of Upper Primary Students

The aims of this thesis is to map all issues related to learning motivation (or lack of it) of upper primary students. It tries to analyze factors that reduce or complicate motivation at school and it focuses on the most common consequences of frustration in school environment - boredom and anxiety. It also deals with possibilities how to arouse cognitive, achievement and social needs which play the key role at school, and it attempts to answer questions about the ways a teacher can increase upper primary students' motivation for learning, taking into account the specifics of their ontogeny. Special attention connected with this issue is devoted to the influence of teacher-pupil interaction. The empirical part provides insights from practice, these insights are regarded as a complement of the theoretical part.
Social perception of trustworthiness and its projection in morphospace of human face: evolutionary and ecological consequences

Differences in perception of the human face is caused by variability in facial features, which stands in the face properties, such as attractiveness, dominance and trustworthiness. This literature review focuses on the perception of trustworthiness and its impact to social interactions. The attention is also paid to possible evolutionary mechanisms such as sexual selection. Moreover, this work deals with the neurohormonal causes in the perception of trustworthiness, wherein the subcortical brain region called the amygdala plays the main role. Political-Military Risks for Tourism in the Middle East Abstract The master's thesis analyses the perception of political-military risks for incoming tourism in the Middle East from the perspective of Czech potential tourists. The examined area of the Middle East bears some geographic and geopolitical ideas, that are still absent in the Czech scientific milieu. Tourism in the Middle East also operates in the environment of political-military risks. Scholarly literature suggests that these risks represent one of the main factors influencing the choice of destination. The paper deepens understanding of this relationship by focusing on the perception of political-military risks in space, in terms of their typological diversity, and analyses determinants of this perception. The main research tool, a questionnaire, served to collect data that was analysed through descriptive statistics and statistical inference, as a paired t-test, analysis of variance (ANOVA) and correlation analysis. The findings are mostly in consensus with theoretical knowledge and previous studies. Visual experince as example and pattern in relation to the expansion and influence into human life

The main theme of this dissertation is to define an image as a visual experience. The human interaction is described by the author himself as a perception of the image, which serves as an information unit that could be presented as a possibility, example and pattern for the individual. There is an emphasis on the process of perception itself and on the way of interaction of an individual emphasizing the context of social learning and imitation in this text. The analysis of the principles of this interaction leading into introduction of the partial interactive models covering these processes is formed by the essential plane. The structure of the thesis is divided into ten main chapters in which the author tries to introduce a category of perception, a definition of the image and imitation as a tool of cultural transmission, presentation of the units of this transmission, the process of the interaction itself and analogous example of the fundamental role that a person in this interaction holds. There are also three analogies of these roles, which refer to the anthropological universal interaction describing the man as a gatherer and hunter. Imagines in your Mind: iconographic and iconologic aspects of some themes of contemporary visual culture

The final work of the Bachelor degree titled Living in us deals with iconographic and iconological aspects of certain themes of contemporary visual culture. It focuses on Advertising which maps from the point of view of development and its facilities whilst ignoring the effects on the recipient. Terrain research endeavours to reach this via its eventual analysis. The work attempts to answer via questionnaire the question whether the adversing which we are surrounded by is linked to preconceptions of christian culture. The educational file of work is represented by an accompanying installation program of works by Adriena Simotova. The artistically applied theme rellies on the direct coherent phenomenon of 30 Advertising. The result is an advert on Christianity which I created in accordance with the results of the questionairre. These outlined ' today's person's' idea of paradise which became the motive for a completed advertising leaflet.
