Evaluation of Airbnb's Potential and Impact in the Czech Republic

The thesis examines the phenomenon of the sharing economy and the impact it had made over the recent years. As a prime example, the thesis is structured around a recent company, Airbnb. The sharing economy is a relatively new concept which is influenced from the rise use of internet and social networks around the world. Sharing economy is a collaborative system built on sharing of goods and human resources. The thesis also examines the obstacles of legal issues, lack of control and safety. Airbnb is an online platform that connects people to rent their personal space to others for a nightly or monthly price. The website is being used around the world, bringing the concept of building a community and feeling of belonging for some people. A part of this work is also a quantitative content analysis, which compares the Airbnb offers with the offers of hotels in Prague. The research based on prices and users' rating examines if Airbnb is able to compete with established hotels. Although the total number of Airbnb units in Prague is significantly smaller than the number of hotels, the results show Airbnb's high potential in this area. Its advantages are lower prices and excellent rating.
Marketing Strategy on the Services Market and its Application on a Selected Organisation, Library, Information Centre

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to apply available findings about marketing on the library sphere, to show some possibilities of cooperation between a library and its surrounding and to create a marketing strategy for particular library emphasizing the importance of cooperation with other organizations. Theoretical part of the thesis describes marketing in library sphere, including marketing mix and current trends in marketing communication. There are also presented some examples of cooperation between a library and various organizations. In practical part of the thesis there is presented Municipal Library in Sušice, its users and its cooperation with other organizations. There is also performed SWOT analysis. Its results were then used for designing new marketing strategy. The thesis includes also a survey that was performed among the library users.
Service Design in Public Libraries

This thesis deals with service design in public libraries. The theses consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part describes the services in public libraries. Then basics and principles of design services are introduced. This is followed by an overview of service design tools and methods suitable for use in libraries. The practical part analyzes services of the Matěj Josef Sychra Library from a user perspective, using tools and methods of service design and some possible improvements of these services are suggested.

The topic of this diploma thesis is to create a proposal for marketing activities of café and bar Limbo situated in Brno. The proposal should lead to improvement of the company’s communication skills, consequently to raise public awareness and potentially to increase the number of new customers. Therefore, the most extensive part of proposals is focused on marketing communication. The proposal is based on theoretical knowledge in the introductory part and, above all, on suitable analysis of current situation in second part of diploma thesis.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to suggest marketing strategy for social network AskYou. In its first part it concentrates on the theoretical aspects of marketing, which are then applied in the second, practical part. The thesis also includes survey, which concerns the awareness of the social network AskYou and its position on the current market. In the conclusion follows summary of positive and negative aspects of AskYou and recommendations for the future.
Marketing activities of Airbnb

The thesis focuses on the phenomenon of the sharing economy. Using Airbnb as an example to show the opportunities and threats that the sharing economy may bring to companies, individuals and society. The thesis is divided into several chapters, the theoretical part is devoted to the analysis of the marketing environment, marketing strategy, the specifics of marketing mix of tourism and the theoretical background of sharing economy. The practical part is dedicated to company introduction and analyzes marketing activities of Airbnb both in Czech republic and abroad. The main goal of this thesis is to reveal the potential od Czech market for Airbnb through market research, identify the future goals of the company and suggest how to achieve these goals.
Concept for Marketing Strategy Change in a Company Operating in a HoReCa Sector

The bachalor thesis deals with the proposal to change marketing strategy in the chosen company, which is Restaurant U Červeného volka. In theoretical part, there will be technical terms mostly of marketing field. In analytical part I focus on basic information about the restaurant, followed by analysis of the current state, where I use knowledge from theoretical part and then I focus on imperfectionts. In the last section I describe corrective measures, mostly in online marketing and menu, which leads to removing the imperfections and to attract new customers and maintaining existing customer.

Bachelor thesis deals with the issue of applying marketing and marketing mix in the management of real estate company Majesty reality, s. r. o. in Poprad, Slovak Republic, which is engaged in brokering the sale and leasing of real estate. The thesis is divided into three parts, the first part deals with the theoretical knowledge of the marketing. The second part is analytical and consists of an analysis of the current marketing mix, evaluation questionnaires and SWOT analysis. The third part is devoted to improving the design of the marketing strategy.

The last part includes concrete final proposals and procedures based on results of analyses, which should contribute and improve the company´s current situation on the local market.
