Huml, Miroslav ; Sobotka, Michal (advisor) ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee)
English recapitulation of this thesis -Legal regulations of the Waste management in the Czech Republic The main purpose of the thesis is to demonstrate the most important waste management principles in the Czech Republic and in the other European countries. The thesis is divided into 8 chapters. The first chapter deals with a general introduction concerning the topic. It indicates global situation and undesirable influences of deficiencies in the waste management on condition of world seas and oceans. The second chapter considers the waste management as a branch of science activity. This branch was established in 1980s in west European countries, however, 10 years later also in the Czech Republic. The first Parliament Act on the waste management in Czechoslovakia was created in 1991. There were some mistakes and dubiousness in the Act and it was necessary to put them aside before joining the European Union in 2004. Before 2004, this Act had been changed completely two times. The Act of Czech Parliament 185/2001 Sb. went into force on 1st January 2002. Since then, it has been novelized many times according to the European law and is currently responding to the European directives. The third chapter mentions some other acts which are connected with the waste management in the Czech Republic. On the top of...

Ecology and biodiversity of heteropteran monoxenous trypanosomatids in CR
Klepetková, Helena ; Votýpka, Jan (advisor) ; Lukeš, Julius (referee)
Order Kinetoplastida includes monoxenous trypanosomatids, the numerous and divergent group that parasitize versatile spectrum of insects. The most frequent hosts include heteropteran bugs and dipterans. The recent research of the biodiversity of monoxenous trypanosomatids has been implemented only in a few areas. Published studies have demonstrated unexpected variability of kinetoplastids and demonstrated that the considerable number of species has not been discovered yet. This thesis attends to study monoxenous trypanosomatid diversity in heteropteran bugs, especially on the territory of the Czech Republic. The objective of this long-term study focused on one locality has been to reveal the parasite diversity with connection of host ecology. In addition to this, many other isolates originated from different localities have been involved to the studies focused on geographical distribution, host specifity and phylogeny of the entire group Kinetoplastida. Special attention has been paid to species Leptomonas pyrrhocoris, which occurs in bugs of family Pyrrhocoridae. Key words: Heteroptera, trypanosomatids, host specificity, geographic distribution, transmission, phylogeny

I wanted to dedicate my Bachelor thesis to summarize personal and working life, career and pedagogic influence of Olga Borissova ? Pracikova, which is also a soloist for National Moravian-Silesian Theatre and member of Pedagogic group Janackova conservatory and gymnasium in Ostrava. Due to study in Kiev?s trade school, she?s influenced by Russian classic dance technique. Within her pedagogical activity she also use technique developed by worldwide known dancer, choreographer and artist Agripina Vaganovova. In this work I have tried to point out exceptional training of her technique and its usage within the dance conservatory environment. By personal opinion of O. Borissova, I would like to make the meaning and application of Vaganovova?s technique more familiar.

Principles of criminal law in proceedings on administrative transgressions
Lomozová, Petra ; Prášková, Helena (advisor) ; Kopecký, Martin (referee)
RESUMÉ Petra Lomozová: Principles of Criminal Justice in the Proceedings on Minor Offences This paper addresses to basic principles of criminal proceedings as expressed in § 2 of the Czech Code of Criminal Procedure. It seeks to find out the scope in which these principles apply to the proceedings ruled by the Act on Minor Offences, which is part of Czech aministrative law. The distinction between criminal offences and administrative offences has a long tradition in Czech and Austrian law. The criminal offences are essentially part of criminal law and underlie the jurisdiction of courts, while the proceedings on administrative offences, including the minor offences, are led by public authorities. However, this distinction doesn't rely upon firm and definite theoretical foundations and is managed differently in different European countries. That's why the Czech courts use to emphasize, that the basic principles, which apply to criminal proceedings, should also be applicable to proceedings on administrative offences. The question is treated with regard to Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights. This Article guarantees the right to a fair hearing to everyone charged with a criminal offence. "Charge" as well as "criminal offence" have to be understood in their autonomous meaning which differ from...

Prevention of postinfarction left ventricular remodeling with stem cells implantation
Pelnař, Jiří ; Moťovská, Zuzana (advisor)
Cell therapy is a tempting and possibly promising therapeutic approach, which could be used in the near future to prevent the serious health effects on the heart and thus on the whole human organism resulting from myocardial infarction. The portion of the heart afflicted by infarction disrupts the architecture of the heart chamber as a whole and causes it to undergo the process of remodeling in a less or more pronounced manner. This process leads to progressive deterioration of the heart function, which may eventually lead to heart failure. The potential regeneration of a viable heart tissue by stem cells implantation would have the means of ceasing or reverting this harmful process. The introduction of stem cells into the heart tissue following a myocardial infarction can be achieved by several different techniques, using various cell types and in various time intervals after the occurence of myocardial infarction. So far, a number of studies using animal models of myocardial infarction, have shown that the stem cells implantation has a favorable effect on the restoration of heart function, while not showing such occurence of adverse effects that would exclude further investigation in the form of clinical studies. The clinical studies described in this work do not allow to make a definite conclusion. Some...

Comparing the influence of agrarian parties of Czechoslovakia and Finland in 1917-1929

Sponsorship Strategies and the Process of Searching for Sponsors
Rappaport, Barbora ; Ledvinová, Jana (advisor) ; Čuříková, Tamara (referee)
Abstract In this bachelor?s thesis I focus on the theme of sponsorship strategies and the process of searching for sponsors. My primary objective is to describe a sort of a modus operandi or, better still, to offer a ?user?s manual? for applicants who seek sponsorship contributions (gifts), or applicants seeking all-round co-operation with an entity capable of providing such co-operation. Thus, the thesis proposes a sort of a handbook for sponsorship applicants. Although I have enormous respect for reference literature that deals with this topic my thesis is, to a large extent, my own original work because I largely draw on my own experiences of someone operating ?on the other side of the fence?. I have been working at a large transnational corporation for eight years now; it also engages in sponsorship, and I have been responsible for this area of its activity for more than four years. Naturally, I did take into account the views and experiences of colleagues employed with companies of a similar size, whom I meet in the course of my work, and also the experiences of the applicants themselves. My other objective in this thesis, within the scope it gives me, is to provide a brief and understandable outline of sponsorship strategies and functions, both for companies and the sponsored entities. I would also like to help make understanding of this quite complicated issue somewhat easier.
