Abstrakt V této bakalářské práci se věnuji tématu sponzorských strategii a procesu vyhledávání sponzorů. Mým cílem je především podat jakýsi "modus operandi" nebo ještě lépe "uživatelskou příručku" žadatele o sponzorský příspěvek (dar), nebo žadatele o komplexní spolupráci se subjektem, který je schopen takovou spolupráci poskytnout. Ve své podstatě se tedy jedná o jakousi rukověť žadatele o sponzoring. Ačkoli se s úctou skláním před literaturou, která se podobnou problematikou zabývá, do velké míry je moje práce autorská, neboť v ní z velké části čerpám ze svých vlastních zkušeností osoby působící na "druhé straně barikády". Již osm let pracuji ve velké nadnárodní společnosti poskytující mimo jiné sponzoring a za tuto oblast činnosti v ní přes čtyři roky zodpovídám. Samozřejmě, že jsem zohlednila názory a zkušenosti kolegů z podobně velkých firem, s nimiž se při své práci potkávám, a pochopitelně také zkušenosti samotných žadatelů. V rámci, který mi účel této práce dovoluje, je mým cílem zároveň podat stručný a srozumitelný přehled strategií sponzoringu, jeho funkcí jak pro firmy, tak i pro sponzorované subjekty. Ráda bych též zjednodušila orientaci v této jinak složité problematice. Abstract In this bachelor?s thesis I focus on the theme of sponsorship strategies and the process of searching for sponsors. My primary objective is to describe a sort of a modus operandi or, better still, to offer a ?user?s manual? for applicants who seek sponsorship contributions (gifts), or applicants seeking all-round co-operation with an entity capable of providing such co-operation. Thus, the thesis proposes a sort of a handbook for sponsorship applicants. Although I have enormous respect for reference literature that deals with this topic my thesis is, to a large extent, my own original work because I largely draw on my own experiences of someone operating ?on the other side of the fence?. I have been working at a large transnational corporation for eight years now; it also engages in sponsorship, and I have been responsible for this area of its activity for more than four years. Naturally, I did take into account the views and experiences of colleagues employed with companies of a similar size, whom I meet in the course of my work, and also the experiences of the applicants themselves. My other objective in this thesis, within the scope it gives me, is to provide a brief and understandable outline of sponsorship strategies and functions, both for companies and the sponsored entities. I would also like to help make understanding of this quite complicated issue somewhat easier.
