Lhoťanová, Anna ; Štípek, Jiří (advisor) ; Vaňková, Petra (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the development of computational and algorithmic thinking in a non-formal education setting, specifically in the conditions of a summer camp activity, which is one of the forms of non-formal education. The thesis verifies by the pedagogical experiment whether it is possible to develop the computational thinking of camp participants, when unplugged activities are included in the programme content. The theoretical part defines the concepts of computational and algorithmic thinking. It also includes property of unplugged methodology. The practical part evaluates the pedagogical field experiment for which 3 sets of unplugged activities and 2 sets of test tools were created. The experiment took place during two summer camp for children from 9 to 18 years old, who were divided into two age groups for testing purposes. In pursuance of the experiment it was found out that the conditions of summer camp activity allow the inclusion of unplugged activities, which represent a method enabling the development of the computational thinking of the camp participants. Though it emerged that these activities have a bearing only on the participants who are more active during these activities and who are more interested in them. Physics education as a part of leisure time activities
Brynych, Miroslav ; Žák, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Mandíková, Dana (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on the support of educational leisure time organizations, which deal with science education, but not in the first place. Within the diploma thesis a literature search for non-formal science education was conducted and seven activities with supporting materials for the purpose to educate the participants of these activities as well as the organizers of them were created. The activities were prepared in such way to respect the fact that their organizer did not typically study science at university. The supporting materials should facilitate the preparation, carrying out and evaluation of the activity. All activities were verified in practice at meetings of the leisure time organization Junák - český skaut, z. s. The purpose of this verification was to find out whether and how the activities could be used in practice. Structured interviews with organizers and observation wre used to receive feedback. The final form of the supporting materials of particular activities is presented in the diploma thesis.

Nová, Iveta ; Trojan, Václav (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Miroslava (referee)
The Master's Thesis focuses on pedagogical and managerial tasks of children camps' main leader. The aim is to define these tasks and to analyse the position's official formal characteristics - professional qualification and experience - for camps organized by bodies that are not leisure time educational centres. The assumption here is that mostly the head chiefs do not hold professional qualification as there is no legal obligation. The Theory uses comparative method to classify camps as leisure time educative activity. Further, the history and legal and practical conditions of the camps are described. Pedagogical and managerial tasks of the head chiefs are explained together with desirable competences. Possible ways of gaining the professional qualification are presented. In the Research part the above stated assumption was supposed to be confirmed or rejected through a questionnaire and additional guided interviews. 103 respondents of the research were head chiefs of children camps organized in 2016 in South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. Results' analysis rejected the stated assumption. It was proved that a greater-than-expected number of the camps' head chiefs are professionally qualified. At least 50 % of the respondents have the necessary pedagogical qualification together with suitable...

Tučková, Karolína ; Burešová, Karolína (advisor) ; Běhalová, Andrea (referee)
In my Master thesis, I deal with the impact of educational activities of selected NGOs on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. The thesis is both theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part deals with the process of immigrant integration and with the role of the governmental and non-profit organizations. A large part is devoted to the migrant children's education and to the difficulties which they have and must overcome. The end of the theoretical part presents the educational activities of selected non-profit organizations, which focus not only on helping migrant children, but also on working with schools and families of the children. The empirical part examines the impact of specific educational activities realized at the community center InBáze on the process of migrant children inclusion to the Czech society. Empirical investigation was done through a questionnaire. I used available Czech, English and American sources during writing this thesis. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
