The Sursum: the sacred in the art of the second wave of Czech symbolism
Nastává obrat ke snu a fantasii. Velkou módou se stávají spiritistické seance, mystické a magické spolky. Vzrůstá zájem o orientální a pohanská náboženství, oživení zažívá i katolicismus.

The aim of this thesis is to determine whether it is possible to develop pupils' independence by way of the project method, which is based on my own practical experience. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part summarizes and evaluates the knowledge gained by studying the available literature on the topic of pupils' independence and the theme of project method. The conclusion of the theoretical part summarises the bases for the development of the self- reliance via project method. The practical part analyses my previous teaching experiences, like the use of project method in terms of pupils' independence and this analysis is followed up with the practical research, based on a new project which is focused on the development of the pupils' independence in the activating teaching methods that have not been used yet. The part of the appendix includes final pieces of pupils' works from some of the projects described in the practical part, pupils' mind maps from their projects and photo documentation of the newly realised project, which was aimed at developing pupils' independence. To evaluate the life quality, the SEIQoL method was used. The most important factor in this method is subjective feeling of each patient. The most important life themes for men and women was their family and health. After the tracheostomy no changes of their importance were noticed. More important changes have been refered after tracheostomy in other life qualities. Within women, their temper was deteriorated - obout 45%, their feeling of satisfaction in sport got worse (35%) as well as interpersonal relations (23%) and feeling of health (14%). The percentage of satisfaction with most of the life themes decreased also in men. The interesting conclusion was, that while in women the decrease of health feeling was not significant, in men this diference was about 32%. Men were also less tolerant for sport limitations (27%). The level of satisfaction with spiritual...

Ways to support a child with problem behaviour by working with his family
Papoušková, Kateřina ; Gillernová, Ilona (advisor) ; Mertin, Václav (referee)
The thesis deals with the possibilities of intervention in children with behavioral problems. The main focus is placed on working with the family (unlike commonly used interventions that focus primarily on working with the child himself or herself). The first part portrays the theoretical background. It describes the mechanisms of family influence on the child in terms of the factors that can increase the risk of behavioral problems, and, vice versa, factors that act protectively and help the child cope with the situation in a functional manner. On this basis, we describe various forms of intervention in the family based on influence of the disclosed risk and resilient factors. The research project aims to respond to the discrepancy between the proven effectiveness of intervention in families and low levels of use (predominance of intervention focused on child itself only). Through qualitative analysis of interviews with professionals research maps possible ways for families to reach the intervention, its benefits and risks, and recommendations for improving the system of this kind of care in the Czech Republic. Keywords: conduct problems, family intervention, therapy
