Title: Sports event management: Mayor's Lax Cup 2015 Objectives: Analysis of 4th annual Mayor's Lax Cup, organized by SK Lacrosse Jižní Město. Subsequent suggestions for improvement in next years. Methods: Survey uses case study as a method. Data is collected through participant observation, documents analysis, and semi-structured interview. Conducting of SWOT analysis based on collected data. Results: Mayor's Lax Cup is a promising sports event with plenty of room for improvement. Based on these imperfections I made a list of suggestions and proposals for next years. Marketing research of spectators satisfaction with Hokejová bitva

Title: Marketing research of spectators satisfaction with Hokejová bitva Purpose: The main aim of my thesis is to analyze how the spectators are satisfied with the offered services provided by organizers of Hokejová bitva and the general satisfaction with each event held in 2013 and 2014, and then compare the obtained information. Based on the results, I suggest some recommendations on possible improvements or changes in the criticized areas, which could lead to increased satisfaction of the audience and possibly to increase the number of viewers in following years of this event. Method: Marketing research was conducted through a quantitative method, using the written and electronic forms of questionnaire survey. Respondents were randomly selected from all visitors of this event. The results are shown in tables and graphs MS Excel in the analytic part. Results: The results of the analysis show that the spectators of Hokejová bitva in 2014 were generally more satisfied than spectators in the previous year. Based on identified insufficiencies in program and in other offered services are suggested possible measures of improvement. Semiotic analysis of promotional materials of European Athletics Indoor Championships 2015

The subject of this thesis is the analysis of promotional materials of the sports event - European Indoor Championship in Athletics, which took place from 5 March to 8 March 2015 in Prague. For this purpose, the method of complex semiotic analysis is used. The thesis includes introduction into context. Theoretical background of chosen method is not omitted. In the thesis is explained the application of semiotic analysis to the selected problem. The main and secondary research questions are defined and there are specified the forms of promotion or types of media, on which are the partial semiotic analysis performed, too. This thesis is aimed on revelation differences in promotional materials of the event targeting the general or the professional public. For this reason, in the course of selecting the specific forms of promotion, which are included in the research, was paid attention on the similar characteristic of the pattern for each target group from the viewpoint of media mix. Title: Management and marketing of the project Sports talent of the year and its implementation for period 2014-2015 Targets: The aim of this thesis is to propose improvements of the project Sports talent of the year for period 2014 - 2015. The project is focused on healthy lifestyle of the primary school pupils in the Czech Republic. The author based on analysis of previous years which were realized by a profit organization. His own contributions are made by the implementation of the project. Methods: There is a case study used to analyze the information about the project Sports talent of the year. Analysis of the conditions is carried out with the aid of PEST analysis, Porter's model of five forces, and analysis of resources. SWOT analysis is applied to synthesize previous analyzes. Results: The study revealed gaps especially in the management activities of the project Sports talent of the year. The greatest gaps can be seen in the branch of staffing, marketing and communications and financing. Title: Participants' satisfaction with Salomon Trail Running Cup 2014 sports event Objectives: The main aim of this diploma thesis is to analyse current level of customer satisfaction with sports event, find out their opinions and potential shortcomings in each running event by using questionnaire survey. Define any problem areas and suggest appropriate management recommendations by evaluating empirical data obtained from own market research. This would lead to improvement of runners' satisfaction with this sports event. Partial goal of this diploma thesis is to find potential coherence between customers' satisfaction and whether they attended Salomon Trail Running Cup for the first time or repeatedly. Methods: Quantitative questionnaire research was used to obtain data from respondents. Respondents were interviewed either in person or in writing. Informal interviews were made with the management of the sports event. T-test method was used to find potential coherence between customers' satisfaction and their attendance in the past Salomon Trail Running Cup events. Results: Marketing research showed that runners were mostly satisfied with this sports event. The aim of this work is to design a project representing sports event in support of PR. The project is built on the basis of theoretical methods derived from the literature devoted to the project and sports management and event management. Aplication and evaluation of sponsoring for rhythmic gymnastics competition

Title: Application and evaluation of sponsoring for rhythmic gymnastics competition Objectives: The main objective is the offering of sponsorship packages that have been made previously to former and current sponsors in order to entice them to come back and stay. The next sub-objective is to establish cooperation with new potential partners for competition in rhythmic gymnastics with a tailor-made offer. Methods: In the work are used the methods of quantitative and qualitative research. The method of written polling is applied to former and current sponsors and the method of direct mail and individual semi-structured interview is applied to the selected potential sponsors. Results: During the data collection it was found that the former and current sponsors would prefer a more diverse list of options. Based on the results new sponsorship packages were compiled and especially great demanded list of advertisement options. Thanks to some interviews some new sponsors were added to the competition. Title: Sports event management - Princeton-Blairstown Center Objectives: The aim of this work is on the basis of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to propose particular arrangement that would improve organization of Princeton-Blairstown Center in following years. Methods: Case analysis was used as the main research method. In preparation of this analysis participant observation, document analysis, semi-structured and unstructured interviews were applied. On the basis of these methods SWOT analysis was developed, which shows the strengths and weaknesses Results: The analysis showed that the Princeton - Blairstown Center was very well organized event with small issues. The camp is associated organization to Princeton University, camp gains part of the funding from the university or its foundations. The advantages of Princeton - Blairstown Center are mainly a high ropes course, a unique environment and area and because of these advantages camp has increasing number of participants every year. For the following years, it is very important to keep a good relationship with the university, take care of the site, keep the lake in good condition, try to find sponsors and improve promotion of Princeton - Blairstown Center. Monetary value of voluntary labour during organization of big sport event

The research problem of this thesis was to hold large-scale sports event and its organization by nonprofessional workers that must be managed. To solve the main problem, we selected two main objectives. Determining monetary value of voluntary labour during organization of big sports event based on method VŠE was the first goal. This objective was fulfilled and determines the value at CZK 118.25. The second goal was to analyse the organization of sports event and it's securing. Using network analysis was able to find the critical path of preparation activities. Gantt diagram allowed carrying out a full analysis of resources, which could be the subject of further research.
