Sports activities and eating habits of younger school children

This master's thesis deals with problematics of healthy food, healthy lifestyle and sports activities of pupils et early school age. The aim of this work is to observe and evaluate eating habits of pupils of the target group. We research to what extent the children consume and know about the healthy lifestyle in connection with sports activities. We used the questionnaire survey as the main method. Then, we analyse sports results of these pupils on the basis of particular disciplines of UNIFITTEST. Evaluation of the effectiveness of physiotherapy practice in prevention of falls - literature review

Markéta Vychodilová Title Evaluation of the effectiveness of physiotherapy practice in prevention of falls -literature review Objectives The aim of this thesis is to find out which physiotherapeutic methods and techniques are currently used to prevent falls in seniors and which of these methods appear to be most effective in preventing falls. Furthermore, the work is focused on summarizing current knowledge of this issue. Methods The thesis is processed in the form of literature review and has an analytical-descriptive character. The studies used meet the predetermined criteria. The thesis is divided into several parts. In the first part, which is called theoretical basis, are described mainly physiotherapeutic methods and techniques, which are currently used to ensure the prevention of falls in seniors. The second part, part of the results, summarizes these physiotherapeutic techniques and methods and evaluates their effect. The thesis is concluded with a discussion, which is focused mainly on two basic research questions of the thesis. Marketing research of high school students' satisfaction with the offer and quality of sports facilities in Klatovy

Title: Marketing research of high school students' satisfaction with the offer and quality of sports facilities in Klatovy Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate, whether the high school students are satisfied with the offer and with the quality of sporting facilities in Klatovy. Based on the findings of the research, there will be measures suggested in order to improve the discussed factors. Methods: There is used a quantitative method of written questioning in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The respondents are high school students studying in Klatovy. Results: The outcomes of the research are illustrated using pie charts and bar charts. The results showed that the respondents are rather satisfied with the offer of sporting opportunities. Mobile Application for Sports Training

The aim of the thesis is to create a mobile application that allows planning of training plans, sharing them in the team and subsequent evaluation of sports activities that will be entered or measured in the application. The application is implemented for the Android operating system. The thesis describes the programming theory for mobile operating systems. The practical part describes the design, implementation and testing. For implementation, NativeScript was used, linking XML and JavaScript or TypeScript. The resulting app allows the user to create training schedules and record sports activities.
Motivation of primary school children to sports activities

This thesis focuses on the motivation of pupils attending primary school towards the sports activities. The work is divided into theoretical and research section. The theoretical part explains the concepts related to the thesis itself, especially the concepts of leisure activities, physical activities and the concept of sport. Furthermore, the theoretical part is focused on the developmental stages of personalities, the concepts of motivations, incentives, needs, rewards and motivational structure of sportsmen. The aim of the research part of this thesis was to determine the current state of motivation of the pupils attending primary school towards the sports activities. To accomplish this aim, a method of questionnaire survey was used. The research section also deals with the relationships among the monitored variables in the survey. The results of this work provide new information about motivation of children towards sports activities.
The motivation of university students for sports activities

Bachelor's thesis dealt with the issue of motivation to sport and sporting activities among university students. First, however, they were at work defined the basic terms and concepts related to the issue solved. Subsequently research was conducted using own questionnaire, 23 questions. Respondents were students of two humanities and two scientific fields from Charles University in Prague and Masaryk University in Brno. Thanks to this may be found to have the attitude university students to sports, what sports they prefer and what motives dominate the sport in general.

Comparison of interest in sports activities between high school students in Prague and in Karlovy Vary region.

1 Abstract Title: Comparison of interest in sports activities between high school students in Prague and in Karlovy Vary region Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find and compare the interest in sport between two groups - high school students in Prague and Karlovy Vary region. Furthermore, the aim is also to find out the reason why students do sport or why students have even no interest in sport. Another objective is to find and compare the way how students in both regions spend their leisure time. Lastly, sports conditions were verified in both regions. Methods: Interest in sports activities has been investigated by using a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was specially created for this research. Results: Research has shown that the level of sport activity is higher by students from Karlovy Vary region than by students from Prague. Although the conditions for sports activities are worse in Karlovy Vary region than in Prague, students do sport more often and doing sport is more popular in comparison with other leisure time activities. Interest in Athletics and other activities for children aged 12 - 15 years

Title: Interest in Athletics and other activities for children aged 12 - 15 years. Objectives: To determine interest in athletics and other activities for children aged 12 to 15 years and to compare the responses of children from selected elementary schools and grammar schools. Methods: A questionnaire survey was used to meet the objectives. Questionnaires were distributed to two schools - Elementary School (ZS Jilovska) and Grammar School (Gymnázium Omska), of which neither one focuses on sports. Age group was between 12 to 15 years of age. Total of 359 questionnaires was collected. The main objective of the research was to determine the interest in sports and athletics beyond school physical education classes. In this study we investigated the activities in which children and young people engage in their leisure time; who motivates and supports them in sports, and how they relate to athletics. Results: The results showed that children and youth, despite the availability of today's modern techniques, are still interested in sports. Of the total number of 359 respondents, 23% of children chose sports as one of the leisure activities.
