Relations in gender unbalanced classes

Diplomová práce Relations in gender-unbalanced classes ABSTRACT The diploma thesis is focused on relations in gender-unbalanced high school classes. A combination of three methods was used for data collection: sociometric rating questionnaire, questionnaire for girls and boys in the classroom and interview with teachers. The sample included six schools in Prague. The theoretical part maps the influence of gender stereotypes on development of individuals and character of relationships in coeducated and separated classes. The empirical part provides data analysis with respect to the whole group and the position of minority individuals among classmates. Results showed that gender-unbalanced classes evaluated mutual popularity and influence comparably to gender-balanced classes. However, classes with predominance of girls achieved better results since the respondents reflected greater respect and tolerance in comparison to classes with predominance of boys. The boys' minority is more satisfied among girls than the girls' minority among boys. Boys in the boys' classes were negatively assessed for not appreciating girls and laughing at them. The Change of Classroom Climate in Czech Elementary Schools with the Departure of Students into High-Track Schools

The aim of the dissertation is to compare the psychosocial climate of the classes between the 5th and 6th grades of Czech elementary school. In the train of pupils' leaving into the high- tracked schools there are significant organizational changes in the classes of the 6th grade. This theme includes the phenomenon of the early tracking, when some pupils can leave the mainstream of education (elementary school) and start attending the high-tracked schools (multi-year gymnasium). The aim of our study is to contribute to the research, that with the departure of students into high-tracked schools the psychosocial climate in the classes of the 6th grade unequivocally exacerbates. We are also interested in which specific students are accepted into high-tracked schools, and whether they are effective classroom leaders and socio- metric stars. In our study, we also find out the classroom positions of students who are continuously educated in the 5th and 6th grades of the elementary schools and their classmates, who have come as new students into the classes of the 6th grade. Business of tourism services and possibilities of cooperation

This thesis deals with a company named Angusfarm, which is situated in Soběsuky. The organization focuses mostly on providing services including accommodation, catering and introduces their main interest. It clarifies their cooperation and evolution, history and basic concepts of sociometry. Moreover, a major part of the thesis provides detailed information about stakeholders and the way they interact with the firm including analysis of the weaknesses and barriers that occur during cooperation with stakeholders. The research is based on Social Network Analysis. The Social network is a system of actors individual interlinks through their relations. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the current situation of cooperation with suppliers and to reveal which stakeholdes are the most important and how large is the connection between stakeholders and Angusfarm.
Sociopreferential relationships in a working group and the use of their knowledge in the management of organization

The bachelor thesis is focused on working groups, their structure and importance for organizations. The theoretical part is dedicated to organization, primarily its varied approaches and structure, working groups and teams and sociometry with focus on a sociometric test, which is the base of the practical part. In the practical part is realized a research in form of the sociometric test in the chosen working group. The aim is get knowledge of the informal structure of the group. Based on the data from the research is established a comprehensive view on acting of the group members and a functionality of the group as an entirety. Thanks to the gained results are suggested sociotechnical recommendations for improvements of the relationships in the group individually for each member and for the whole group.

Title: Changing of social cohesion through courses in nature Aims: Aim of the study is to provide a comprehensive perspective on the topic of changes of the social cohesion of groups after the course activities in nature. Methods: Methods used in the work are text analysis with secondary data analysis. Results: An analysis of available sources revealed that the odds of outdoor activities have a positive effect on the development of social cohesion among work groups as well as groups of adolescents and sports teams. The use of games and exercise in nature in athletic training camp and their impact on group dynamics

Title: The use of games and exercise in nature in athletic training camp and their impact on group dynamics. Objectives: The goal of the thesis is to make a research mapping social relationships in a group and their change after passing athletic training camp which includes games and exercise in nature in its programme. Methods: The research was realised by questionnaires- Třídní kompas method and sociometric questions. The questionnaires were followed by semi structured interviews with selected respondents. The results were presented by sociograms, sociometric matrices and indexes. Results: When we compared the results of the pre-test and post-test, we found out that games in nature have positive impal on group dynamics. We can see from sociograms and sociometric matrices, that the number of choices increased and there were more frequent relations among individuals. Children perceive the benefits of the games in terms of closer acquaintance, take it as entertainment but also as a form of education. The use of winter activities and games in nature and their impact on the social dynamics of adolescents

Aims: The aim is to assess the effect of the two-month program using games and activities in the nature of social relationships in a group of adolescents. Methods: The research group consisted of 17 girls aged 13 and 14 years. The girls were divided into two groups. The group intervention program completed a two-month ski lessons with additional features activities and games in the winter nature. In the control group ran a classic ski training. Social relations in the group were assessed based on the survey using sociometric rating method Class compass, preferential methods of recording and sociometric questions. Results: In the group with the program based on the method class compass was recorded 27 positive choices regarding sympathy and influence in the first polling, 23 in the second and 30 in the third. The point value of mutual sympathy by preferential entry fell from 461 to 419 points and third interviews increased again to 450 points. For the first sociometric questions of social cohesion index value decreased from 0.81 to 0.67 and 0.31, the second was an increase of 0.28 to 0.58, and then drop to 0.33. Bakalářská práce Gender analysis of the results of SO-RA-D. ANNOTATION The bachelor thesis is focused on the secondary analysis of results of SO-RA-D in 50 classrooms. Data is analysed with accent on gender analysis of relationships in classrooms. The theoretical part deals with an introduction to gender studies, gender ontogeny, structure of the school classroom and the connection between gender and school. The practical part is focused on three pieces of research: gender analysis of age group, gender specifics in classrooms and the characteristics of children in peripheral positions. Social status of the integrated student with Asperger syndrome in the class

The goal of this diploma thesis is to map the issue of social integration of students with Asperger syndrome into a regular class of elementary school. The theoretical part is based on analysis of publications related to the topic. It deals with the description of the Asperger syndrome diagnosis and its symptoms, the concept of integration, mainly the integration of a student with Asperger syndrome, and the issue of classroom climate and the possibilities of its diagnostics and development. The practical part is based on the theoretical part. In it, the author focuses on the analysis of social status of integrated students with Asperger syndrome. Sociometrical techniques are combined with projective method and both are supplemented with a questionnaire for teachers and qualitative methods, primarily interviews with teachers and observation in class.
