The Language of Instructors of Some Leisure Activities

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the language of sport leisure-time activities lecturers. It is aimed to pupils at the first grade (thereinafter ZŠ) and lecturers of kickbox and dance lessons. The first part of the thesis is written in general terms. It comes out from the literature about communication. It emphasizes the importance of pedagogical communication and its effect on the development of education and the cooperation among pupils and lecturers. The second part of the thesis is aimed to use of verbal and non-verbal communication in leisure-time activities.
Canine assisted therapy, a support in the development of social skills and communication of children with autism spectrum disorder

SUMMARY: This thesis deals with canine assisted therapy as a support in the development of social skills and communication of children with autism spectrum disorder and is based on the professional literature and analysis of the therapy's influence on the development of personality in individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The introduction describes autism spectrum disorders, emphasising their social characteristics and communication of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. The second part deals with canine assisted therapy, its methods and forms, as well as, its specific pedagogical use. The third part of the thesis studies the case of a boy with autism spectrum disorder who regularly attended canine assisted therapy. This thesis uses the following methodology: analysis of professional literature, participant observation, informal interview, questionnaire, video analysis and the case study data analysis. This thesis concludes in the finding that canine assisted therapy supports the development of social skills and non-verbal communication of children with autism spectrum disorder. Body language and the language of art

The proposed thesis deals with the topic of body language in visual art and with understanding of body language as synergy of the innermost experience and the experience of the bodily form. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses psychological, anthropological and art historical literature published both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The point of departure for the theoretical part is the concept of interconnectedness of sensory perception, its cognitive analysis and the ensuing answer to the environment, focusing especially on the subjective character of these processes. In the practical part of the proposed thesis, an educational art project is designed, based on the results of the theoretical study in the first part and impulses from contemporary visual art (Eva Koťátková, Erwin Wurm, Miriam Cabessa and others). The aim of the educational part is to observe the processes mentioned above, concentrating especially on the creative expression through an artistic action and the experience of the individual.
Perception and expression of non-verbal vulgarity in context of gender

Vulgarity is becoming to be an increasingly discussed and interesting topic, although not deeply explored by science. This thesis includes a survey focused on vulgar gestures. The main objective is to compare differences in perception and expression of non verbal vulgarisms- gestures among 1) boys and girls 2) two different teenage groups, in terms of frequency, form and purpose of using the gestures. I mainly use a closed, semi-closed or open questions in the questionnaire, which also includes a parallel presentation of each gesture. FLE teaching and gestures

The thesis La gestuelle en FLE concerns itself with non-verbal communication and usage of gestures in the French language teaching process. It consists of two main parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is focused primarily on non-verbal communication, its types and function, verbal communication will also be mentioned for better understanding of the connection between the two types. In chapter focused on gesture we'll focus on body language, its position concerning the environment (proxemics), we will discuss facial expressions and movement of individual body parts (gestures). Important aspect is the voice, which is considered the middleman between verbal and non-verbal communication. In the chapter dedicated to pedagogical gesture we will focus on its types and function. Last chapter of the theoretical part concerns itself with the body and voice of the teacher, as those are indispensable in the language teaching process. During teaching, the teacher of a foreign language uses all means of communication, spoken word is accompanied or completely substituted by a specific gesture, which leads to better understanding on the side of student and also to elimination of student's mother tongue. Communication in adult clients with autism and its systematic support

The topic of this diploma thesis is communication in adult clients with autism and its systematic support. The text itself consists of two main parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part is further divided into four chapters which deal with the basic concepts of autism spectrum disorders and communication. In these chapters, autism spectrum disorders are analysed from the viewpoint of historical development, etiology, classification and symptomatology with regard to the manifestation of ASD in adulthood. The chapters which deal with the topic of communication first define communication as such and the important terms associated with it, and then describe the specific abnormalities that may occur in the communication of people with autism spectrum disorder. They also provide support options that can be used to communicate with people with ASD. The practical part is then conceived as a qualitative research whose main aim is to describe the communication of people with autism spectrum disorder, to show its specifics and to describe the intervention that was introduced in five individual subjects. Intercultural aspects of non-verbal communication

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to define issues of non-verbal communication. It is focused on intercultural aspects that are present in non-verbal communication and have influence on it. The thesis is divided into four chapters. At first the term communication is explained and then there are explained terms such as interculturality and intercultural communication. Third chapter is focused on non-verbal communication. All the constituents of this type of communication are described and the examples from particular cultures are added. After that there is a comparative part that deals with forms of non-verbal communication in particular cultures. There is a comparison especially of European, Asian, American and Arabic cultures. This comparison is mainly focused on the main elements of non-verbal communication. In this chapter there are also explained some differences that are essential to know for understanding of non-verbal communication in different cultures and for peaceful interaction.
