This diploma thesis deals with the issue of beginning primary school form teachers and the introduction into their profession. The aim of the thesis is to analyse what professional competence a graduate in Primary School Teacher Training needs for the role of a form teacher in terms of theoretical justification and practical knowledge and skills. To discuss and argue for a concept of a form teacher work preparation in the pre-graduate preparation. It investigates the teacher personality and its changes within the historical context. It describes historical development of teachers education and the current situation in the Czech Republic. It deals with a professional standard model, represents professional competences of the primary school and teacher standards. The form teacher is viewed from different angles. It deals with his work content, activities he should do, duties and competences. It defines the term professional ethics and code of ethics for teachers. This paper determines professional norms, values and responsibility which are accepted by every single educator in his profession. Role of the teacher assistant in inclusive education from the perspective of teacher at elementary school

The topic of the thesis is the role of the teacher's assistant in inclusive education from the perspective of a teacher at elementary school. The aim is to find out how teachers perceive the position of teacher's assistant in the education of pupils with special educational needs. The theoretic part deals with basic and inclusive education, including relevant legislation, support measures, defining the position of teacher's assistant, his / her competences, job description and possibilities of cooperation with the class teacher. The empirical part analyzes interviews with class teachers who teach a pupil with special educational needs and thanks to they can cooperate with teacher assistants. Everything is complemented with findings from the observation of the activities of the teacher's assistant in the given class. At the end of the thesis, research questions are answered and some suggestions are defined. The research shows that the teacher's assistant is a necessary support in the classroom especially for pupils with mental disabilities.
adaptation course as the class teacher's tool to get to know the class collective

The thesis deals with the influence of class teacher's participation on the adaptation course to the teacher's knowledge of the pupils' collective. In the theoretical part, attention is paid to the concepts of experiential education and adaptation courses. Furthermore, it describes various types of adaptation course methodologies and suggests possibilities of class teacher's participation during the course. The research part describes a qualitative study with respondents who, as a class teacher, have undergone an adaptation course with their new class. The results of the research describe how class teachers perceive the adaptation course as a tool for their knowledge of pupils depending on their participation in the adaptation course.
Class teacher to 2. grade of elementary school

The diploma thesis deals with the content of work of class teachers at the 2nd level of elementary schools. The aim of the thesis is to describe the content of the work and the legislative definition of the function of class teacher on the basis of professional literature, its competences necessary for the performance of this function and the duties connected with it. In the theoretical part is described the development and legal definition of the teaching profession. Furthermore, classroom function, class social structure and possible methods of pupil discipline support. The research part describes and analyzes the experience of class teachers with whom the interview was conducted, monitoring their perception of this function, positive and negative experiences. The purpose of the interviews is to penetrate deeper into the current problems of class teachers and to learn how they are currently facing them. The conclusion of the thesis is an analysis of these experiences. The Adaption Course on High Schools in the Czech Republic

This Bachelor thesis presents theoretical background of high school adaption course to lecturers and high school teachers in the Czech Republic. The thesis defines the course as a term, its goals, principles and history in the Czech Republic. There are described student's developmental stages as well as class of students, new class dynamics and class teacher's attitude towards the class. It goes through phases of group dynamics and how to intervene them as an external influence; experiential learning and understanding its concept of game; experiential Kolb's cycle; and through ways of working with the reflection. Finally it determines principles of creation of a particular course schedule. Factors influencing selection of class teachers at basic school

The final diploma thesis defines factors that significantly influence managements of basic schools in their decisions regarding the selection of class teachers in terms of the performed HR activities. Selection and appointing a suitable candidate to a position of a class teacher is a responsible personnel activity which poses high demands on each management worker in the field of education. It is demanding because a class teacher is in many ways the most important person who contributes to and presents the image of the school through everyday close contacts with clients, among others with pupils, parents, public, the school founder and colleagues. To a certain extent it is possible to say that the class teacher provides an outward representation of the organisation and his/her behaviour has a strong impact on how the community and public view the organisation/school. General groups of factors that influence the selection of class teachers were identified based on the results of a preliminary research and subsequently verified in the main research. Self-concept of a child with specific learning disorders at first grade of primary school

Thesis focuses on self conception of primary school children impaired by specific learning disabilities. Based on case histories of nine children it states factors influencing the building of a self concept, and also follows a development of monitored children. The theoretic section defines a conceptual framework based on characteristics of a preadlolescent child with specific regard to her/his sensoric, cognitive and emotional development, with regard to development of child's self concept and to specific learnind disabilities in general. It describes the stage of children's development and learning disorders they are afflicted by. The practical section of the thesis describes case histories of nine pupils (and their development), which the author of the thesis followed for two years. The group consists of 9 pupils (2 girls and 7 boys). The thesis gives a thorough view on self conception of monitored children, their positionin the school group and areas of succes, it shows the individuality of each child's personality and his/her life story.
Beginning Teacher at the first grade of primary school

Diploma thesis addresses the issue of initial training of beginning teachers of primary school in Czech schools. Defines the requirements for successful integration of new employees, as well as suggesting possible standard procedures, methods and assesses the possibility of their use in the school environment. It describes the role of supervising teacher and the meaning of its existence. The task of the practical part is to find out with which kinds of educational activities beginning teachers have problems. In interviews with experienced teachers, we tried to clarify whether at the time of their beginnings had the same problems as current teachers and we wonder on what skills and knowledge should be students of faculties of education trained better.
