Comparison of the integration proces of children at common primary schools and at schools with programme Step by Step

The aim of the thesis is to describe in great detail the process and organization of integration (inclusion) of common primary school children and those of primary schools with the educational programme Step by Step. The focus of the thesis is to put these two school types side by side and compare their attempt to the issue. The results should work as an help for parents' to choose the right institution necessary for the elementary education of their children suffering from any kind of handicap, they should help also the educators searching for many initiatives to integrate all the pupils to a group. Another important output of the thesis is to find out the level of primary school teachers awareness with the process of the pupils' integration.
Role of teaching assistant at primary school with Montessori program

This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of the role of teacher assistant in a primary school classroom with Montessori program, focusing on the inclusion of pupils with special educational needs and on the position of a teacher assistant in Montessori learning environment. We defined the education of pupils with special educational needs, including the most frequent diagnoses we encounter during the research. The whole paper is grounded in the legislation of the Czech Republic in the field of primary education. The paper also describes alternative education and its most common varieties and includes the characteristics of the education following Maria Montessori philosophy. This part is dedicated to the principles of the Montessori method, to the role of a Montessori teacher, to the characteristics of the classroom environment as well as to the teaching organisation, including teaching forms and methods. The object of this research was to find out about the current situation in educating pupils with special educational needs and in their support in the alternative classroom environment. Comparison of outdoor experiences amongst children from alternative and traditional schools during covid-19

Title: Comparison of outdoor experiences amongst children from alternative and traditional schools during covid 19 Objectives: Purpose of this thesis was to examine freetime and outdoor activities of children from alternative and traditional schools and then compare the differences within the children's families. Methods: It is a research thesis. A poll containing 4 questions was used to examine the experiences with outdoor activities within the pupils. It was distributed in two Semily elementary schools. Traditional and alternative elementary school. The aiming group were pupils from 5th grade in the age of 10-11. The research was attended by 40 pupils. Results: Based on the poll, the pupils from alternative school showed more experiences with outdoor activities than the pupils from traditional school. Conclusion: Despite the results, the research didn't show that children from alternative schools were from families with more sporty backround. Reasons and process of creating an alternative school from the perspective of its founders

The diploma thesis deals with the processes taking place in setting up alternative schools and reflects the founders'views on the start-up process as well as their satisfaction with the outcome. The theoretical part introduces the important alternative directions in education, brings forward the principles of how free and democratic schools work, presents some personalities associated with the educational alternative and briefly mentions selected platforms and concepts based on the principles of respect for the individual. The empirical part analyses interviews with the founders of five alternative schools on their reasons for setting up the school and their appreciation of the proces. The main techniques for data collection are in-depth semi-structured interviews. Given the research objective a qualitative approach inspired by phenomenological investigation and grounded theory was used and subsequently the card interpretation technique. There are several reasons for setting up alternative schools, the main one seems to be the need to provide current generation of children a school which would support their talents, gives them the individual approach and where their opinion would be respected. The thesis focuses on the importance of using suitable furniture in flexible classrooms. The theoretical part presents information about educational systems and institutions in which it is necessary to work flexibly with space and in compliance with the pupil's needs. The practical part describes the process of design and production of flexible storage with regard to security requirements for furniture in school institutions. This section also includes determining the stability of the furniture unit and calculating the material used.

The Master's thesis deals with origin and development of ScioSchools. The theoretical part explains the key concepts. It points to the issues associated with the transformation in education in the world and in our country. Introduces the concepts of alternative, innovative and democratic school. It briefly characterizes the best-known representatives of these types of schools - schools of reform pedagogy, religious schools, modern alternative schools, democratic schools Summerhill and Sudbury Valley. It describes the establishment of ScioSchools, their gradual expansion and introduces the founders. It focuses on main characteristics of ScioSchools with the primary attention on pedagogical principles and values. It explains also the role of guides and the process of their recruitment. Last but not least, the theoretical part describes the cooperation and sharing in the school environment while introducing some of the methods applied. With the use of quantitative and qualitative research the empirical part analyses the collaboration and sharing among ScioSchools with regard to their gradual development.
