Social work in the context of social entrepreneurship

This work deals with the relationship between social work and social entrepreneurship as one of the employment opportunities for people with disabilities. It clearly summarizes the existing knowledge about their context, available theoretical knowledge and practical experience in this area and lists important aspects of the context of social work and social entrepreneurship. It outlines the possibilities that individual activities can bring to each other and looks for things that can be mutually beneficial. It assesses the importance of social work for the social entrepreneurship sector and tries to find their common denominator by answering the following questions: What is the relationship between social work and social entrepreneurship? Is social work also important for a social enterprise? Is possible to do business socially with any connection to social work?
Diversity in the beauty industry and its perception in Czech environment

This bachelor thesis focuses on diversity in the beauty industry and its perception in Czech environment. Firstly, the theoretical framework introduces the concept of diversity marketing and describes how brands can include different underrepresented groups in their marketing strategies. For the purpose of this thesis, we recognize five such groups, namely: racial and ethnic minorities, people over the age of 50, people with various body shapes and sizes, members of the LGBTQ+ community and people with disabilities. So we focus on multicultural marketing, age-agnostic marketing, body-positive marketing, LGBTQ+ marketing and marketing strategies that include people with disabilities. Subsequently, we provide a few examples of several diverse cosmetic brands and we show that the inclusion of neglected groups can have a positive effect on consumer satisfaction and company's success. A review of previous research on diversity and its perception is then presented. In the practical part, we examine the perception of diversity in the Czech Republic. Our focus is Generation Z. The data is collected through a questionnaire. Attitudes of children of young school age to integrate people with disability

Title: Attitudes of children of young school age to integrate people with disability. The main topic of the thesis is the attitudes of younger pupils towards integrating their peers with disabilities. The thesis also briefly discusses the attitudes of families and teachers with regards to the issue. The theoretical basis which the thesis builds on is defining of the term "inclusion" and the related legislature. Issues of physical disability, personality of a person with a disability and societal views and approaches to disabilities are also explored. Specific characteristics of inclusive education are mentioned. The goal of the thesis is to map the attitudes of pupils towards inclusion, their feelings about being in a classroom where inclusive education is practiced and their way of perceiving their teacher`s work. Outdoor Activities for People with Disabilities

Title: Outdoor Activities for People with Disabilities Aims: The aim of the thesis is to prepare an argumentation for creating a professional centre offering outdoor activities to people with disabilities; to explore current situation within the field of outdoor activities; to assess the interest of workers in the field of education of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities; to assess the interest of people with disabilities in services provided by outdoor centres for people with disabilities. The Informal Care for People with Disabilities in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the system of the informal long-term care for people with disabilities in the Czech Republic. The first aim of the diploma thesis is to describe this non-conceptually solved issue and confirm the European prevalent tendencies to refamilization and deinstitutionalization in the Czech Republic. Author tries to identify the main problems within the system of informal long-term care through interviews conducted with informal carers and workers from selected social services. The diploma thesis emphasizes the target population of informal carers, who face many obstacles, whether it is the cooperation between the systems of formal and informal care, lack of finances, deterioration of quality of life or insufficient recognition of the status of informal carers from the society and the state. Informal carers are presented on the basis of theoretical perspectives as well as the results of conducted research as the invisible stakeholders of the Czech public policy.
Psychosocial Aspects of Changes in Human Mobility

The diploma thesis - "Psychosocial Aspects of Changes in Human Mobility," focuses on family and siblings of people with physical disabilities, as well as on finding the appropriate support for these families in their specific situation. It particularly deals with people suffering cerebral palsy and spina bifida and possibilities to support the families with disabled individuals in the Czech Republic. The thesis is based on theoretical knowledge gained from publications and laws, hands-on experience acquired in service as a personal care assistant, as well as own research project on siblings of people with physical disabilities. In the first part of the thesis, the author gives basic information about classifications, diagnostics and manifestations of cerebral palsy and spina bifida with major influence of the change in human mobility. In addition, the thesis focuses on the relationship of both parents and siblings, to the handicapped child. The next part is devoted to a research project called "Life with a Sibling with Physical Disability". The diploma thesis deals with the topic of sheltered housing solutions for people with special needs on the southern edge of the Kociánka complex in Brno. The aim of the work is not only the design of sheltered housing, but also the creation of opportunities for social integration and clients interaction with the public and at the same time the creation of job opportunities, space for recreation, therapy, self-realization or activation. The main element is the interweaving that is reflected in the entire design, whether it is urbanism, architecture or technology.

v AJ Welfare of people with disabilities and their protection In rigorous work, I describe the basic living situations that a person with a disability can get into over the course of their life, the way they are secured by the state in the area of social security and their support in the area of active employment policy, and not least the benefits that are afforded to them by the state and other private-law entities so that they are not excluded from society beyond what is usual for other persons. The second chapter describes the disability pension scheme for people with disabilities. My focus is on the conditions for the creation, alteration and cessation of entitlement to an invalidity pension and its payment. The procedure for these claims is described in the following sub-chapters. The third chapter is devoted to the security of people with disabilities, the Mobility Allowance and the Special Aid Allowance. The conditions for the creation, alteration and termination of entitlement to contributions and to their payment, as well as other rights and obligations of recipients of such benefits, are included here.
