Competencies of a lecturer using activation methods in adult education

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on the definition of lecturers' competences in adult education that uses a participative style of teaching. The current state of professionalization of lecturers in the Czech Republic will be explored alongside the definition of lecturer using activation methods in adult education and lecturer's competences within this thesis. The basic description of the commonly used activation teaching methods and the high teaching requirements of these methods will also be illustrated. Finally, this thesis introduces the competence model using the activation methods in adult education with a possible schema of the model usage in the real world. The Specification of Lecturers in the Leisure Adult Education - Guides at the Historical Monuments

This bachelor thesis approaches guides at historical monuments as the lecturers of leisure adult education. It begins with characterizing leisure education in the context of andragogy and in the life of an adult, then shifts to the issue of lecturers in the leisure adult education. The thesis indicates lecturer's roles and requirements posed on them, outlines opportunities for their progress and professionalization, and summarize basic competencies and characteristics of lecturers in the leisure education and adult education in general as well. For this thesis is fundamental the guide activities at historical monuments (from the leisure adult educator's position). Through the outcomes of questionnaire survey, it shows the guide's characteristics from three viewpoints, it clarifies the contemporary situation of the guide's education and attitudes of guides and their supervisors to possible further education in terms of the guide's job. The Language of Instructors of Some Leisure Activities

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the language of sport leisure-time activities lecturers. It is aimed to pupils at the first grade (thereinafter ZŠ) and lecturers of kickbox and dance lessons. The first part of the thesis is written in general terms. It comes out from the literature about communication. It emphasizes the importance of pedagogical communication and its effect on the development of education and the cooperation among pupils and lecturers. The second part of the thesis is aimed to use of verbal and non-verbal communication in leisure-time activities.
Qualification of dance education instructors of children from years 3 to 6 in elementary art schools and youth centers

This bachelor thesis looks at the skills and education of teachers of dance, teachers of leisure activities, tutors, and additional staff, who teach dance education in elementary art schools and youth centers. In the theoretic section the thesis processes theoretical and practical ideologies regarding free time, leisure and recreational activities, children of preschool age, and their relationship to exercise. Additionally the thesis discusses the educational backgrounds and qualifications of dance instructors and looks at how they lead dance classes in both elementary art schools and youth centers. In the practical section the thesis discovers whether the theoretical assumptions of the dance education management and its application match. Moreover, it compares the differences between two different institutions and measures factors of parental and directorial satisfaction of the dance workshops. This practical secrion examines the directoral requirements for the techers' abilities, their real education and qualification, and the parents' satisfaction with the institutions. Didactic of vocationally education

The thesis is divided into two parts. The first deals with the theoretical view of the vocational education, its development and specifics. The next section describes the differences between education of adults and children. Then the work is focused on the personality of the lector and didactic process, its aims, methods, forms and tools. To conclude the theoretical part summarizes the principle of feedback. The second part is summarized of research where respondents are lectors themselves. From research we know how much are they competent to exercise the profession of lecturers from the point of view of teaching, respectively didactic. The research used the questionnaire with closed and open questions.
Language teaching on French Institute of Prague

This bachelor thesis aims at analytical description of French language education at the French Institute in Prague. Firstly, it describes development, function and organisation of the French Institute in Prague and its affection by important historical events during 20th century. Furthermore, the thesis thoroughly describes several French language courses, which are currently being taught at the French Institute in Prague and their development. Next part focuses on training and education of French teachers and simultaneously refers to useful pedagogical materials. Important part of this thesis is a description of educational methods at the French Institute in Prague, introduction of teacher's role and lecture's flow. In this context, an interest is given to demands of the French Institute in Prague on their lecturers and integration issue of new members to the lecturer's group at the French Institute. Lastly, the thesis covers a summary of language certificates issued by the French Institute. Teaching methods for hand hygiene

Introduction to the issue and the importance of the topic: The subject of this diploma thesis is to focus on issues related to teaching methods for the practice of hand hygiene in health care professionals in medical facilities. The issue of increasing efficiency in education is today an increasingly relevant topic supporting the activity of every person. In medical facilities, we encounter a problem with employee motivation, mutual interaction and communication when practicing new nursing procedures (hand hygiene), (Cullen, 2017). Unfortunately, most lecturers still teach only traditional teaching methods and use activating methods minimally or not at all (Sitná et al., 2009). Such a stereotype in the teaching process often provides only mechanical reproduction of the learned content. There is no consideration of understanding and practical interconnection, which is often boring and cumbersome for employees (Duran et al., 2017). The lecturer should pass on theoretical knowledge and practical skills to the given employees and thus develop their attitudes necessary for the performance of their profession (Vengl, 2011).
