Job satisfaction of teaching staff at primary and secondary schools in the Vysočina region

The diploma thesis deals with the job satisfaction of pedagogical employees working in elementary and high schools in the Vysočina Region. The main goal of the thesis is to ascertain how are the pedagogical employees in the elementary and high schools of the Vysočina District overall satisfied with individual aspects of the selected outside factors of job satisfaction. The next goal of the thesis is to compare job satisfaction of pedagogical employees in the individual aspects of the selected outside factors. In the theoretical part, the thesis is focused on the theories of job satisfactions and the relationship between job satisfaction and work performance. Furthermore, the thesis deals with selected outside factors, which influence job satisfaction. The investigation is carried out in the selected elementary and high schools in the Vysočina Region. To obtain the necessary data, a non-standardized questionnaire of job satisfaction was created, which was then filled in by 149 teachers of both elementary and high schools in the Vysočina Region. The statistical compilation of the data showed, that the teachers of the selected elementary and high schools of the Vysočina Region are satisfied in their job. The subjective determinants of job performance and job involvement: their importance and wider contexts with a focus on job engagement.

The thesis deals with several basic topics such as subjective determinants of job performance, job involvement and job engagement. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of some phenomena and it presents the overview of approaches and concepts used; it maps interpretation ways with the reference to terminological inconsistencies existing in the field. The focus of the theoretical part is put on the description of job performance and its subjective determinants followed by the overview of methods enabling job performance measurement. Furthermore, the concepts of job involvement and engagement are introduced with the emphasis on the diversity of the theories and definitions related to these terms. The conclusion of the theoretical part provides the overview of the studies dealing with the relationship between these concepts, and also broader interconnections with other issues of man-and-work relationships are described. The empirical part presents a research project introducing job performance measurement of employees in education area and the level of their engagement. Comparison of education methods in education, prison and health services

The master thesis deals with further education and training in the fields of prison and health services and education. It describes which methods are required in further education and why they can contribute to more efficient planning of education in the particular areas. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of lifelong learning, analyzes the similarities and differences in the understanding of lifelong learning in strategic documents. Education forms an important part of human resources development and its efficiency depends on the choice of suitable teaching methods and on understanding learners' motivations. In theory, it surveys also training in the particular areas. The findings from the theoretical part are based on the practical part of the degree work, which forms the main point. This practical part is based on the opinions of the employees that have been identified through a questionnaire. The results provide information not only about the specifics of the education methods used in the monitored areas, but also about mutual similarities, and they get closer to the main motivating factors for education. Age Management in Organization with Focus on Group of Employees over Fifty Years of Age

4 ABSTRACT This bachelor thesis presents current knowledge on the concept of age management in the Czech Republic. This thesis focuses on current demographic trends and implications of the changing age structure of the population, old age and ageing itself and on the issue of the status of older workers in the labour market. The effect of worker's age on their ability to fulfil their role and work ability are examined, also aspects of the employment of older workers are mentioned, as a result it touches on the issue of age discrimination. This thesis represents the concept of age management as an approach to demographic changes and highlights the benefits of the application of its possible tools at the organizational level. This thesis includes a case study examining age management in Severočeské doly a.s., which has a high average age of its employees. It explores how this organization tackles the current age structure of its employees and how it reflects this fact into their HR activities, relying on the concept of age management of the parent company ČEZ, a. s. Assessment of Employees of a Municipality with Extended Competence as a Way to Increase Motivation

The present thesis addresses the issue of assessment of employees in an organization in the public administration. Assessment of employees is a key motivation factor in human resources management, and it is one of the tools to achieve the employees' productivity. At the same time the assessment helps increase the prestige of the authority and satisfaction of the citizens. The aim of the present thesis is to analyze the current state of the system of assessment in an organization in the public administration, to look for deficiencies in the system as they influence the motivation of employees, and to propose changes for improvement. The first part of the thesis presents the theoretical framework of performance management, the theory of work motivation, assessment, and the remuneration of employees. In the practical part of the thesis the municipal office in question is introduced, and the current situation of the employees assessment system is analyzed. This part also includes the results of the realized questionnaire. The final part brings recommendations which can help the organization to increase the efficiency of the employees assessment.
Improvement Suggestion of Evaluation System in the Engineering Firm

Bachelor’s thesis is focused on staff evaluation problems. At the theoretical level it is focused on special knowledge and the latest trends in the area of staff evaluation. On the basis of literary survey there is analysed and consequently evaluated the current system of evaluation in an engineering company. The analytical part contains also the staff opinion research concerning the current system of evaluation. On the basis of background research there is elaborated an improvement suggestion of the evaluation system, which aims to contribute to more effective way of leading the job performance.

The forms and methods of motivation in construction industry

This thesis on „Form and methods in construction“ is focused on satisfaction and motivation of employees from UNISTAV a.s. company. In theoretical part I focus on the most important and generally accepted theory of motivation. I also mention forms of motivation and also methods which can be used by managers in construction to challenge and stimulate their employees to perform better and to identify goals of individuals with goals of company. In the last part I introduce relevant information about studied company. As an example for empirical part of work, based on working hypothesis I created two questionnaires. On for ordinary customer and second one for managers. I also studied opinions on company communications and corporate culture in general. One of the main benefits of this thesis is, that it clearly defines weak and strong spots relative to the chosen topic. It also compares views of employees and their managers. From these findings I constructed series of solutions and recommendations. For convenience I show my findings in form of simple graphs.

The aim of Diploma thesis "Employee Motivation and Remuneration in a State-funded Institution" is to analyse various factors by their manmer responsible for the motivation of allowance organization workers. Via knowledge of the basis theories of human behavior motivation uncover and specify possible causes for dissatisfaction of allowance organization workers and consequently recommend the use of some motivation tools for recitification of this unfacoutable disposition. The thesis descibes basic motivation theories, important motivation tools and motivation factors.
