Creation and implementation of a competence model in the organization

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of competence models and their following setting in the context of HR activities of employee evaluation and development. In the theoretical part, the basic concepts of competences, their distinction from often confused concepts (such as potential and ability) and their possible division are first described. Then, the competency model, the process of creating a competency model and its potential forms and structures are defined. Next, the principles of using the competence model in individual activities in human resource management are explained, with particular emphasis on the processes of employee evaluation and development through the competence model, which are central to this thesis. The following practical part starts with the introduction of Company XY and the respondent, who is an HR Generalist. Analysis of the Educational Strategy of the HR team of the Selected Institution and Motivation of Employees to Parcitipate in the Education

This thesis deals with the training of the HR team in a selected company. The aim was to analyze and identify the internal training strategy of the HR department, to find out what is the motivation of the HR team employees to participate in the offered training and to propose measures to improve and make the team training strategy more attractive. The theoretical part defines the aspects of corporate training, strategic training, competencies, motivation, HRM, etc. with the help of literature. In the practical part, an analysis of the training processes was carried out by studying internal documents, by conducting a questionnaire survey among the HR team of company XY and lastly, an interview was conducted with the L&D manager. The questionnaire survey investigated employees' motivation to participate in training and employees' satisfaction with the existing corporate training. Development and education of employees of XYZ company in the context of talent management

The thesis focuses on the development and training of talented employees of XYZ company. Its aim is to create a practical tool for the advertising agency XYZ, which will facilitate the identification of talented workers, selection of suitable candidates for leadership positions, assessment of their key competencies and their training and development. In the first part of the thesis, the basic terms and theoretical background are defined based on the analysis of the literature. The individual chapters are devoted to talent and giftedness, the issues of talent management including different approaches and concepts, basic processes and current trends, as well as the use, creation and assessment of key competencies in the field of human resource management and the topic of employee development and training. The second part describes the actual qualitative research investigation conducted through semi- structured interviews with XYZ company employees and analysis of the provided documents. This diploma thesis deals with the selection of new employees and their adaptation in a selected company. The thesis contains theoretical background of the issue of recruitment, selection and training of new employees. An analysis of internal documents is performed, followed by individual interviews with persons involved in the process of selecting and training new employees. Based on this analysis of the current situation, are designed proposed to improve the whole process of selecting and training employees for the selected company.
A comparison of two developmental methods and their impact on behaviour

The goal of my thesis is to compare the impact of two developmental methods (role playing and discussion about a video specially recorded for the developmental activity). In theoretical part I introduce employee development area from a psychological point of view and I describe psychological concepts in the background of concrete skills as leadership, self-management, communication and influencing. I strive for deeper understanding of ways we use to absorb these skills and understanding of possibilities to be used to enhance employees' development whether we mean the concrete developmental methods or training and development process management as a whole. This knowledge is applicable in training and development, which is an area, where my research is conducted. In empirical part I made two researches. In qualitative research I was identifying target group developmental needs to be able to set relevant developmental goals and chose developmental methods corresponding with actual needs of employees which is an important premise of influencing behaviour. In the main research part I conducted quasi-experiment where I compare the target group score before and after the developmental intervention. This thesis entitled "Attitudes and views of nurses on practice education in a healthcare organization" deals with the issue of nurse education in practice. The aim of this thesis is to provide theoretical information not only in the area of following professional nurse education but also to provide insights and opinions on this area from nurses within the healthcare organization. The thesis is devided into two main parts. The introduction of the thesis begins with the topic of nursing and mentions the fundamental principles for nurse education. The first part is theoretical and discusses the issue of education in the context of healthcare organisations.
