Title: Marketing Communications HC Slavia Praha Objectives: The aim of this work is to analyze the marketing and communication mix of Slavia Prague Hockey Club and highlight its strengths and weaknesses. The next task is then to propose possible measures that would improve marketing communications and the marketing mix. Methods: The survey research method is used analysis of internal and external factors, interviews, case studies, document analysis and observation. Results: After analyzing marketing communications HC Slavia Praha has identified a number of shortcomings. In the eighth chapter of the thesis paper proposes a researcher, as in practice. Bohumil Modrý and his fate in literature and media coverage

This Bachelor thesis focuses on research of the image of Czechoslovak ice-hockey goalkeeper Bohumil Modrý in literature and contemporary print. After describing the fate of Bohumil Modrý, I focus on the analysis of contemporary daily print, namely Rudé právo, Mladá fronta and Československý sport, in which I research the amount of informations publicated in named daily print and the differences between them. While analysing the daily print, I will focus on few specific periods - 1947 and 1949 ice-hockey world championships, 1948 olympic games, March 1950 in which Bohumil Modrý and his former teammates from national ice-hockey team were arrested, October 1950 in which the court hearing took place, their release from jail in early 1955, death of Bohumil Modrý in July 1963 and rehabilitation of Modrý and his once convicted teammates in July 1968. The third part of the Bachelor thesis follows Modrý's image in the book Jáchymov by Austrian writer Josef Haslinger. It is a novel which was written with help of Bohumil Modrý's daughter Blanka and follows more different storylines, but the main one focuses on the fate of Bohumil Modrý. Sport club HC Sparta Prague development prognoses

Title: Sport club HC Sparta Prague development prognoses Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to propose and draw up 3 possible prognoses of HC Sparta Prague financial situation development based on financial analysis of past years. Methods: In the first phase of the thesis a financial analysis from past 8 years is drawn up. The data required for the aforesaid analysis are gained from the analysis of the balance sheet, profit and loss account and financial ratios. The third phase deals with reconstruction of Taffler model for predicting bankruptcy. Based on the results of the financial analysis, 3 prognosis, namely optimistic, pessimistic and realistic are drawn up. The prognoses are drawn up using and taking into consideration the past development of profits and loss figures, as well as net income up to/till 2020. Modelling of the prognoses is carried out with the use of Forecast function in MS Excel. Results: The compared results of financial analysis and sports achievements have shown that the HC Sparta Prague financial situation develops depending on sports achievements of the extraleague team. Tomáš Sekan DEPARTMENT: Department of Physical Education SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ladislav Pokorný ABSTRACT: The thesis 'Violence in Czech Football and Hockey Stadiums' is focusing on the supporters' violent and agressive behavior during competitive games in the Czech Republic. This thesis is studying all parties involved (football hooligans, police officers, a psychologist) and concentrating on the public opinion on this specific subject and stadium visits themselves. Interviews, questionnaires, observation and content analysis were all used for the purposes of this thesis. Subsequently, the thesis is analyzing available resources to understand what actions are currently being taken by football and ice-hockey associations to fight the violence, and if these actions can be considered successful. Title: Public Relations tools and activities of ice-hockey team HKM Zvolen Goals: The objective is to analyze and appraise Public Relations tools and activities of ice- hockey club HKM Zvolen which are aimed at target group of fans. As a follow-up to the executed analysis and appraisal other possible solutions of effective communication with fans, that would lead to improvement of club's name, increasing its popularity among the public and mainly enlargement of fans basement connected with higher fans attendance of home games, will be suggested. Methods: The determinated objective is achieved by using analysis of documents and texts followed by descriptive analysis which were the base for creating summary of Public Relations tools and activities towards fans basement of ice-hockey club HKM Zvolen. To gain more detail information, which is not accessible to the public, cooperation with club's management in form of interview was very helpful. Results: The result of this paper is elaborated analysis and summary of PR communication of ice-hockey club HKM Zvolen with its fans during the previous season 2013/2014. Title: Stickhandling transfer from training units into the game of ice hockey goalie at the 11. till 13. years old. Objectives: Transfer quantitatively evaluate the frequency of use of stick game with goalkeepers 11. till 13. years old after the training intervention. Methods: The research was conducted by observing fifteen hockey match at the beginning and end of the hockey season 2012/2013 11. till 13. years old after the training program for the work with a stick. Monitored data were recorded in an empirically established evaluation tables based on the scheme of LH used in the country. The sample represents goalkeepers 11. till 13. years old hockey team HC Sparta Praha. The actual comparison of the frequency of use of the game was goalie stick descriptive statistics. Results: Transfer work with the goalies stick 11. till 13. years old of training units in the hockey game was successful. The overall frequency of work with a staff increased from 261 of the 286 club hits of all hits club, which percentage is 9.6%. The most successful progression occurred in the warm-stick blade and punching blade stick in the corner rink. Semiosis of the self-prezentation of sports clubs AC Sparta Praha and HC Sparta Praha in the season 2013/2014

Diploma thesis deals with semiotics of advertising media campaigns of sport clubs AC Sparta Praha and HC Sparta Praha in the season 2013/2014. Both of the clubs celebrated an anniversary this season: AC Sparta Praha celebrated 120 years since its foundation, HC Sparta Praha celebrated 110 years. That was a reason why media campaigns were intensive and referred to the glorious history of the clubs. The Diploma thesis research is focused on meanings encoded into the campaigns and attempts to find out which verbal and non-verbal signs create the term "Sparta". The Author tries to find out if there is the same semiotic base for both clubs which operate with the same name and elementary signs. Diploma thesis defines contemporary "myth of Sparta" in Czech sport area. Theoretical part occupies with contemporary status of sport in the society, analytical part deals with the media campaigns of both clubs from semiotic perspective.

TITLE: Education of skating for preschool children AUTHOR: Lada Žáčková DEPARTMENT: Physical Education Department SUPERVISOR: PaedDr. Ladislav Pokorný ABSTRACT: This master thesis mapping of skating lessons for preschool children. It's include specific preschool age, education concept, training and movement preschool children, methodics of skating and skate's preparations of lessons. The aim of this work was mapping of teaching basic skate's elements which it's organized different institutions, whether the children achieved comparable results, if they have same items and same level from beginner, whether proposed model of instruction used in other skating sports and if they reach a certain level of skating. On the basic of finding, coach's experience and literature it's suggested optimal model 's education of skating for preschool children, which it's verification and comparing in practise. Work is based on a questionnaire survey among coaches and experiment in this age group. The results of my work responded positively to the requirements. Comparison of somatotype profiles in ice hockey players of national team 1976 and national team U19 season 2017-2018

Title: Comparison of somatotype profiles in ice hockey players of national team 1976 and national team U19 season 2017-2018. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to compare the level of somatotype profile changes between national team of Czechoslovakia from 1976 and Czech republic national team U19 playing in season 2017-2018. Methods: For purpose of study the observation research method was used. Research samples were made of 41 ice hockey players, specifically players of Czechoslovak national team from 1976 (n=24) and players of Czech national team U19 in season 2017-2018 (n=17). The somatotype was determined using Heath and Carter method (1990). To determine the degree of differences between the given parameters, the effect size of Cohen d was used, d ≥ 0,5 a d ≥ 0,8 depending on the hypothesis formulated. Results: Results showed, that the endomorphy of U19 players was significantly greater compared to ČSSR 1976 players (Cohen d = 0,65). The biggest difference was revealed at supraspinale skinfold (Cohen d = 1,06). On the other hand, we found significantly lower mesomporhy in U19 players (Cohen d = 1,63). The cause of this lower mesomoprhy was mainly due to significantly lower bone robusticity of the humerus (Cohen d = 0,81) and femur (Cohen d = 1,19). Keywords: somatotype, ice hockey,...
