Support of self-regulation and stress rereduction of high school students in bettween the transition periods of full-time learing and distance education during the covid-19 pandemic

This thesis focuses on the promotion of self-regulation and stress reduction in secondary school students during the transition periods between full-time and distance education during the covid-19 pandemic. The aim of the thesis is to identify the stressors experienced by the students, the strategies that helped the students to regulate stress and the ways in which the students' self-regulation was promoted by the teaching staff. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with basic terms related to stress, especially stress in children and adolescents. It also focuses on defining forms and methods of self-regulation and distance education. The practical part of the thesis deals with stress and self-regulation in students of a selected secondary school during the transitions between full-time and distance education. A qualitative research design was used to meet the research objective. The data for the research investigation was obtained through semi-structured interviews with pupils, pupils' class teachers and school counselling staff. Analysis of school documentation also provided insights. Schooling for Students Speaking Different Native Language in Regular or Online Lessons When Teaching Czech Language at Primary School

The thesis examines the education of pupils with a distinctive native language in face-to-face and distance education in primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis clarifies the forms of education in primary school, both traditional face-to-face education and various forms of distance education. It also covers the concepts of "Czech as a second language", "Czech as a foreign language", "pupil with a different native language", and "a foreigner pupil". The theoretical part of the thesis provides an overview of various support possibilities for pupils with different native languages. The overview includes support directly at primary schools or support through organizations dedicated to the teaching of Czech to pupils with different native languages. The practical part consists of six educational materials on the topic of school. The teaching materials were created for pupils recently arriving from Ukraine with an A0 level in the Czech language. The purpose of these materials is to make it easier to find their way around the Czech school environment. The impact of distance education on the well-being of elementary teachers

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the impact of distance education on the well-being of a primary school teacher. It is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part describes the reason for the introduction of distance education, its characteristics and legal parameters in the Czech Republic. It also deals with the impact of major life changes on the experience of individuals, defining the concept of stress and reactions to it. Effective methods of managing stress such as coping strategies, social support, emotional and social intelligence and self-efficacy are briefly mentioned. The consequence of long-term intense stress - burnout syndrome - is also described. In the empirical part, the research is characterized, the aim of which was the personal view of 15 teachers on distance learning and its effects on their experience. A semi-structured interview method was chosen to collect qualitative research data. The analysis was carried out in the form of open and axial coding based on grounded theory. The results of the work provide a description of specific impacts, which are also schematically anchored. The reintroduction of elementary school children with specific learning disabilities to a traditional classroom after distance education: teacher and parent point of view

The Abstract Title: The reintroduction of children with specific learning disabilities to a traditional classroom in primary schools after distance education: teacher and parent point of view Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to evaluate the effectiveness of remote education, focusing particularlyon specialized primary school students diagnosed with a specific learning disability. Methods: Two Google forms were created specifically for the purposes of the thesis analysis. Surveyed schools were selected using an internet search of category for students with special learning needs. Produced questionnaire was targeted at the selected specialized schools' teachers and the legal guardians of their special-needs students. Majority of the used questionnaire consisted of closed-ended questions. Results: The obtained data lead to the conclusion that both teachers and students handled the transition to a distance education, generally taking the form of online learning, appropriately. Most of the surveyed students managed to maintain the same learning skills. Only one fifth of the student respondents admitted to being physically active less than once per week.
