Virtual commisioning of one purpose production cell
Vala, Martin ; Bražina, Jakub (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
Master thesis deals with the issue of virtual commissioning and PLC programming. In the first part of the thesis a research in the field of control systems and softwares for virtual commisioning is conducted. The second part of the thesis deals mostly with NX Mechatronics concept designer software, where the initial modification of the model and its configuration for virtual commissioning takes place. The actual preparation of the model is followed by the virtual connection of the TwinCAT 3 control system and previously mentioned NX MCD using a virtual OPC server. The control program code is then created using the TwinCAT 3 development environment to control the assembly operations. This is followed by the actual virtual commissioning of single purpose station for assembly of the steel strapping machine.
Digital twin of the heat exchanger station
Vancl, Radim ; Mihálik, Ondrej (referee) ; Husák, Michal (advisor)
The tesis deals with identification and realization of the simulation model of the exchange station. The theoretical part describes the concept of a digital twin and the components that are used in the model of the heath exchanger station. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first part describes the collection of data from the exchange station model. The second part describes the design of the model and the simulation of the exchanger station.
Virtual commissioning of the robotic clock
Dvořák, Jan ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
Anna Barcuchová The aim of this thesis is virtual commissioning of a digital twin of a manipulator working as a robotic clock. The thesis contains a research of PLC control systems with a focus on motion control, conceptual design of three versions of the solution of the task, flowcharts of the control algorithm and description of the creation of the digital twin in NX Mechatronics Concept Designer. For the final version of the solution, calculations were made for determining the maximum angular acceleration of the individual robotic arms. Included in the thesis is also a control program for TwinCAT 3.
Control of the MyCobot 280-PI robot using Siemens PLC
Plachý, Filip ; Parák, Roman (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design and creation of communication between an industrial PLC Siemens 1511-C and a non-industrial 6-axis robot MyCobot 280-PI. The practical output is a fully functional setup of the robot and PLC with a program. The robot can be controlled using the Siemens TP700 touch panel. The work describes all the steps of the implementation, from the selection of components, software implementation and testing. It also includes a theoretical introduction to the relevant topics, particularly industrial control systems and robotics.
Virtual commissioning of the multi-purpose manipulator
Čech, Michal ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of the XTS linear transport system in cooperation with an industrial robot. The theoretical part is devoted to the division of handling devices and kinematics of industrial robots. The practical part deals with the design of a demonstration task using handling devices whose movements are controlled and configured by means of a PLC using kinematic transformations. Furthermore, this part focuses on the structure of the control PLC program and HMI visualization for controlling the operation of the workplace, including the robot and XTS. The PLC program and HMI is processed in the TwinCAT 3 software environment. Finally, the functionality of the kinematic transformations is verified by virtual commissioning in the NX Mechatronics Concept Designer software.
Communication in Smart Metering
Coufal, Jan Petr ; Kohout, David (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to explore modern communication technologies for secure smart metering, relevant both technologically and legislatively. The thesis includes an analysis of available methods for remote communication with smart meters and their security measures. The thesis also presents three laboratory exercises. The first exercise focuses on smart meters and their PLC communication, the second on emulating smart meters using the DATEL program, and the third on data reading from smart meters using an optical probe. These exercises allow students to practically apply theoretical knowledge.
Modernization of the I/O simulator for PLC
Veselý, Petr ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with the reconstruction of an I/O simulator for PLC. The content of the first chapter is an introduction to the PLC and a description of the standardization of discrete and analog signals. Subsequently, the physical simulator located in the laboratory is described. The next part of this thesis is devoted to the design of the modification of the analog inputs and outputs in order to communicate properly with the modules. Further, the modification of the analog outputs on the simulator and also the modification of the cables between the PLC and the simulator are presented. In the fifth chapter I describe the Add Profile technology and then present the solution of the demonstration and test problem. Finally, I describe the verification of the functionality of all simulators.
Virtual commissioning of a robotic learning production system
Baránek, Martin ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of a educational robotic workplace. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the research of the current state of knowledge of the use of robots in industry, methods of their programming, possibilities of controlling robotic workplaces and methods of procedures for virtual commissioning of robotic workplaces. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to the virtual commissioning of the workplace in Tecnomatix Process Simulate, specifically the processing of the workplace model for simulation and creation of robotic programs, and the creation of PLC control and HMI in the TwinCAT 3 environment.
CANopen drive PLC control
Hámor, Martin ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Ctibor, Jiří (advisor)
The main goal of this bachelor’s thesis was to create an electric drive controlled by a PLC using the CANopen protocol. Three methods of message transmission were tested using Schneider Electric Machine Expert Logic Builder software, designed for PLC programming, and PCAN-View, which monitored incoming and outcoming messages in real time. Control methods are detailed in chapter 6, one of these methods was successful.
Development of water show control
Havran, Lukáš ; Pruša, Radomír (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design methodology for controlling a digital water curtain. The research section focuses on analyzing control systems suitable for this technology and on software tools that enable the implementation of a user application designed to control the water curtain. Based on the research, the practical part involves the implementation of a user application for composing and executing water scenes. Another aspect of the practical part is the selection and programming of control hardware that manages the water jets. The control principle relies on communication between the user application and the control hardware. The practical part is further complemented by the construction design of the digital water curtain in the form of a 3D model, which includes all construction elements, including the control hardware.
