Indoor Monitoring System For Well-being
Kočka, Jakub ; Arm, Jakub
The work address the indoor air quality monitoringenabling to monitor the well-being and comfort of occupants.A monitoring system is able to measure room temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, CO2, luminosity, and dust pollutionusing chip sensors. The measurement devices are connectedwirelessly via ZigBee 3.0 technology enabling mesh networktopology and the measured data is collected into a database. The data will be then processed and presented using a cloudapplication enabling advanced control and alarm management, when a value exceeds the health limits. The measurement systemcomprises of measurement devices and a gateway. The measurementdevice is designed as a sandwich architecture comprisingsensor and communication module. The created sensor moduleis interfaced with Adafruit Feather interface in order to useany available Adafruit SoC kit as the communication module. The conducted results also suggest that ESP32-H2, which isnow in pre-production phase, operates as ZigBee 3.0 SoC inan embedded device.
3D Printer Remake
Čtvrtníček, Jan ; Husák, Michal (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
Purpose of this thesis is revitalize an existing 3D printer. It briefly summarizes the possible technologies of 3D printers with a focus on FDM technology and elaborates in more depth the possibilities of X and Y axis movement. Above all, this thesis is dedicated to the design of a 3D printer model according to selected technologies so that it meets the required parameters. Subsequent implementation is based on the precise selection of mechanical and electrical components. It also deals with the implementation of the Klipper utility software on the OctoPrint interface. The entire printer is designed as an enclosable cell with automatic print unloading.
Automated System of Coffee Machine and Feeder
Bětík, Aleš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a system consisting of a coffee machine, a feeder, a coffee machine process unit and an HMI. The system has the task of making coffee and delivering it to the consumer. The entire activity takes place automatically without human intervention. Just create an order for any time and the system will take care of the rest. There are up to 6 types of coffee to choose from. Orders can be created directly on the HMI user panel or using Google Calendar services. This service allows you to create orders via the Internet. The work includes the theoretical design of the system according to the ISA88 and PackML standards. |The HMI software solution is implemented using the Python programming language. The work also includes the creation of a system simulation in the Siemens NX environment.
Communication Between Asset Administration Shells
Nováček, Ladislav ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issue of industrial communications in Industry 4.0. It treats the topic of communication between two or more asset administration shells. The introductory part of the thesis deals with the research and selection of suitable communication interfaces for Industry 4.0. In the second part of the thesis, a model on which the communication interfaces are tested is proposed and implemented using pre-designed scenarios. The result of the work is an evaluation and comparison of the selected communication interfaces and the possibility of their use in Industry 4.0.
Test manufacturing line
Bartoněk, Josef ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Benešl, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is devoted to the design and implementation of a manufacturing test line. In the thesis, the individual used electrical components are theoretically described and their practical implementation is also described here. One chapter is devoted to the design and description of safety elements. Part of the work was also the creation of visualization and modification of the program.
MES for Industry 4.0 demonstrator
Martiník, Tomáš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with manufacturing systems, their functionalities and their role in Industry 4.0. This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of the MES solution for the Industry 4.0 demonstrator. Research of available open-source systems is conducted and, based on the requirements for the system, one solution is selected, modified for the demonstrator's needs and integrated into its system.
Triggering device for CANbus
Piroch, Vojtěch ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Burian, František (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a triggering device for the CAN bus that allows connection to the trigger input of an oscilloscope and display of the signal waveforms of the CAN bus frames. The first part of the thesis deals with the theoretical description of the CAN bus itself, its principle of operation, description of frames, etc. The second part of the thesis deals with the selection of the core components needed for the circuit, the design of the final schematic, the definition and calculation of the individual components in the circuit and the method of control. The third part is practical, it is dealing with testing the prototype device, designing the circuit board and packaging for the device. The following section describes the software part of the device, specifically how to control the device, a description of the program and libraries used in programming the microcontroller. The last section describes the final testing and measurement of parameters such as jitter and trigger pulse delay.
Electronic chess
Kočka, Matúš ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Baštán, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on function of capacitive sensors on a printed circuit board and a series of measurements from which it was possible to create a subsequent sensors for the chess board. It also deals with the CoreXY technique, according to which a design of a motion mechanism is made in the Siemens NX program, and its subsequent implementation. The device includes a microcontroller for which software is created to process data from sensors and control stepper motors.
Energy metering based on open source technologies in automation
Szymanik, Adam ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with description of open-source automation platforms, which can be used as alternatives to normal PLC systems and selectino of the most suitable platform for automation task. This thesis also describes creation of task for energy consuption measurement, prediction and control in Codesys developement system. Installation of QC4 software and created configuration is also described. The vizualization displays measured and calculated values, event and alarm log and allows for manual disconnection of appliances. The results, shortcomming and benefits are summarized in conclusion.
Universal Device for Hardware Module Testing
Štěpka, Jan ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of electronics for a universal module for development and testing in the field of embedded systems. The first part describes the requirements of the device, in terms of the use of communication buses, setup and communication ranges.
