Teacher in tandem teaching

This bachelor's thesis focuses on tandem teaching. Tandem teaching has a number of benefits and strengths, but Czech schools use it to a lesser extent. Tandem teaching also comes with a number of concerns or a lack of funds or personnel. The theoretical part of the thesis is an introduction to the issue of tandem teaching. It defines both the basic terms presented with tandem teaching, its development, as well as the possibilities for directors to introduce tandem teaching, based on the positives and negatives and already implemented research. The research part of the work uses qualitative research methods and includes the analysis of semi-structured interviews. Interviews were used with teachers, pupils and the principal. The aim of the work is to describe how the principal supports professional development in the field of tandem teaching and how teachers at a selected elementary school prepare for tandem teaching and how they cooperate and communicate. yes, tandem teaching is not given enough attention at school, mainly due to a lack of funding. Beginning Teacher and Teaching in the Inclusive Classroom

The thesis follows up with a beginning teachers and their teaching in an inclusive classroom. The first chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the beginning teachers and their pre- graduate preparation for teaching in the inclusive education. In the second chapter is defined the concept of inclusive education, inclusive principles, development of the inclusive education in Czech republic and its current state. The third chapter is focused on itselfs teaching in an inclusive classroom, its actors and others selected aspekts. The empirical part aims to describe the experiences of beginning teachers, former students of the study program Teaching for the 1st grade of primary school at the PedF UK, with teaching in an inclusive classroom focused on the limits they feel. In addition to this, is the aim of the thesis to bring closer the attitudes of beginning teachers towards to the inclusion, which seem to be crucial for the successful inclusion. For this purpose is in the thesis used semi-structured interviews, which are analyzed and interpreted in the six areas that emerged from open coding. School and Community Projects Focusing on Health and Safety at Primary Schools in the Pardubice region

The diploma thesis deals with school and commuinicative projects with a focus on health and safety at elementary schools in the Pardubice region. The aim of this thesis is to find out whether the offer of projects or programs related to health and safety is sufficient, whether schools use these offered projects or if they prefer to create projects or programs themselves. Another goal of the thesis is to find out if the schools feel any lack of program topics or programs on the market and if so, which ones. The final goal of this work is to create an overview of externally offered projects and programs related to health and safety. In the theoretical part are defined terms related to projects and programs focusing on health and safety questions of an individual, of their organization, and of realization at elementary school in the Pardubice region. The practical part presents interviews with school leaders, expert teachers and with school operational staff. Collaboration between beginning teachers and parents

The diploma thesis examines cooperation with parents from the point of view of beginning teachers, graduates of Teaching for the 1st grade of elementary school of the Faculty of Pedagogy of Charles University. The chosen topic is based on the participation in the research task Research of graduates of the 1st grade of primary education as beginning teachers within the Cooperation project in the scientific field of General Education and Pedagogy, field of Pre-primary and Primary education. The thesis focuses on two primary goals, cognitive and creative, and also focuses on confirming or refuting formulated assumptions. Important factors in the field of pedagogy are emphasized within the learning objectives. These factors include the teacher's personality, competencies, the teacher-student relationship, and the new Competence Framework for the graduate teachers. Theoretical and practical examples from the school environments based on the experience of experts' insights are provided to support the discussion. Project teaching method as a way to develop civic competences in the 1st grade of elementary school

The thesis deals with describing and arguing the conditions under which pupils initiate their own shift within project teaching. This complexityallows pupils to engage effectivelyin their own education and to shift their own competencies, above all civic ones, as well as social and personnel ones. The first part of the thesis describes project teaching as a whole, including its definition, individual types, advantages and disadvantages. This is followed by the legal anchoring of project teaching and curricular documents involved in project teaching. There is also discussed the subject of the pupil and his education journey. It also follows part of the thesis describingthe various phases of project development,including motivation, preparation as well as evaluation criteria. The second, practical part, focuses on action research. First, it asks research questions of research and formulates a goal. Support of gifted pupils in a primary school - a case study

This diploma thesis deals with the possible ways in which the education of gifted pupils can be organized. In the theoretical part, the concept of giftedness is defined from the point of view of official school documents. The next chapter is devoted to the characteristic manifestations of gifted students, on the basis of which it is possible to identify them. The key part is the chapter presenting an overview of possible adjustments to the teaching process, which can be used to adjust the teaching of gifted students. This part is followed by a chapter proposing systemic measures for the support of gifted pupils that operate in the Czech Republic. A case study of the 1st grade of a private primary school is processed, which captures the process of finding optimal ways to support gifted students, the result of which is an action plan for changes in the monitored area. Methods of analysis of school documents, semi- structured interviews with teachers and school management, evaluation and reflection were used for processing. Deferring compulsory school attendance in the context of literacy skills

The thesis focuses on the issue of school deferment in the context of literacy skills in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is structured in 3 chapters. The first chapter discusses concepts such as school maturity and readiness. The second chapter provides an overview and summary of the existingknowledge on school deferrals.The content of the third chapter is a definitionof literacyskills and an introductionto the PorTex diagnostic tool along with the 7 tests and the test battery questionnaire through which data for the research was collected. In the practical section, the quantitative research methodology of the research itself is presented. The research population consists of pupils from the 2nd, 3rd and 5th grades of primary school, divided into 2 groups: children with and without school deferment. Data analysis was carried out in two phases. The results obtained indicate that differences between the groups were demonstrated only in 3 tests and in several subareas of the selected tests. Problematic behavior of primary school pupils through the eyes of teachers

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of problematic behavior of first-grade students through the eyes of teachers. In other words, how do teachers view the problematic behavior of pupils and their possible solutions, if the problematic behavior has already occurred. The theoretical part describes problematic and risky behavior and how the teacher could not only solve this behavior, but also prevent it. The same is then described in the behavior of students with autism spectrum disorders. The practical part offers the perspective of seven female teachers with different lengths of experience on three pedagogical situations. On the basis of semi-structured interviews with them, it became clear that even though they differed from each other in some opinions, they still largely thought about problem behavior and its solution in a similar way. By combining the most frequent statements and reflections of the respondents, scenarios for the given situations emerged. Pupils' Perception of Natural History Teaching at the Second Level of Primary School and at the High School Bc. Ivana Pořická ABSTRACT The task of the thesis is to explore the attitudes and the opinions of students from the 2nd stage of selected primary schools and corresponding grades of a multi-year grammar school regarding the teaching of natural sciences, respectively biology. An integral part of the research work involves assessing and evaluating students' mental disposition before the lesson, preparedness, satisfaction with the environment, teaching itself including the methods used, and the usability and importance of biological education in general. Students were also given the opportunity to express their views on the relevant textbooks used in teaching. Furthermore, the thesis aimed to compare and analyze differences in the attitudes of students from primary schools and multi-year grammar schools in the corresponding grades. Another analysis focused on differences in responses in terms of gender. Whether there are any significant differences in the attitudes of girls and boys, and if so, to attempt to evaluate the reasons for these differences.
