1 ABSTRACT The thesis focuses on the occurrence of mental disorders in adolescents and the provision of support through school counseling services. This topic is current and requires extensive discussion and increased public attention due to the growing issue of mental health problems among young people. The aim of the thesis is not only to clarify but also to describe in detail the issue of mental disorders in adolescents, with a special focus on school counseling centers and their staff. The theoretical part of the thesis presents an analysis of basic concepts related to health, adolescence, and mental disorders. It also includes a list of the most common mental disorders occurring in this age group. In addition, it provides a detailed analysis of the school counseling system, which provides a deeper insight into the structure and organization of the support provided. Speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of speech therapy prevention from the perspective of the kindergarten director. In accordance with the aim of the thesis, it analyses the current situation and identifies the possibilities of support and risks in the field of speech therapy prevention in selected kindergartens. It studies the state and level of work in kidergartens in terms of ensuring cooperation with a special pedagogical center, a pedagogical-psychological counselling center, a clinical speech therapist and further education of pedagogical staff with a focus on speech therapy assistants. It also indicates the possibilities of obtaining financial resources for aids for children with speech disorders, for further education of teaching staff or for possible cooperation with a clinical speech therapist directly in the kindergarten. The thesis also mentions the grant programs offered by the Ministry of Education and Culture. It also outlines a possible procedure for changing or increasing the efficiency of speech therapy prevention and motivational methods for the active approach of teaching staff, which can be used by the kindergarten director. The diploma thesis deals with the issue and prevention of bullying in elementary school. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes concepts in relation to the topic. It deals with the prevention of risky behavior, especially bullying in the Czech Republic. It examines not only individual components of prevention, but also individual differences and its history. It deals with the difference between specific and non-specific prevention and describes its purpose. The theoretical part also focuses on the school's preventive program and its characteristics. Part of the diploma thesis is also a practical part, which is focused on the prevention of bullying at a specific primary school. It mainly focuses on how to approach the prevention of bullying. The work is processed as a case study and qualitative research is used to obtain the necessary data, specifically an interview in which the participants from the ranks of pedagogues, the teacher of the school group, prevention methodologists and the school principal took part. Well-being of students of the Faculty of Education and a prevention of burnout syndrom

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of well-being of university students from Faculties of Education across the Czech Republic. The aim of the theoretical part was to introduce and define the concept of well-being in terms of the most well-known theories and to describe what specifically defines well-being of university students. For orientation, the developmental period that corresponds to studying at university was briefly described. Next, the theory focuses on the stressors of college study and what coping strategies for coping with stress are effective or not for students. The research part was conducted qualitatively. Its purpose was to describe the experience of 7 students from Faculties of Education via semi-structured interviews. The data from the interviews were further analyzed and interpreted through reflective thematic analysis. The outcome of the research are the 4 most significant themes tied to students' well-being. The research shows that motivation and attitude towards education are central to students' perceived well-being. Also that relationships and support help students the most in their education journey. Prevention and therapy of recurrent Clostridioides difficile infection

Introduction: Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) is the most common nosocomial gastrointestinal infection, it is associated with antibiotic use and due to the spread of epidemic strains of C. difficile, there are differences in the course and severity of the disease. This study aimed to describe the characteristics of patients with CDI, to perform molecular analysis of isolates , and then to correlate CDI course and treatment outcomes with the causative ribotypes. Furthermore, the efficacy of antibiotic regimens in the treatment of CDI was evaluated with the severity and number of CDI episodes. Methods: The observational cohort study was conducted in 2013-2016 at the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Bulovka University Hospital in Prague. Patients with laboratory-confirmed CDI were included in the study. C. difficile isolates were characterized by ribotyping, multiple variable tandem repeat analysis (MLVA) and examination of antibiotic resistance determinants (mutations in gyrA, gyrB, rpoB genes or the presence of ermB). Univariate logistic regression was used to evaluate the efficacy of antibiotic regimens (metronidazole, vancomycin, combination of vancomycin and metronidazole, fidaxomicin). Readiness of beginning teachers for prevention and solution of school bullying

This thesis discusses to what extent new teachers are equipped and prepared to prevent and deal with school bullying. The theoretical part aims to define used terms and explain what they entail. These terms include: new teachers, teacher typology, teacher training, bullying, stages of bullying, bullying prevention, and above all, steps to handle bullying. The practical part focuses on the conducted qualitative research, describing the chosen method, the process and its results. It offers answers to whether new teachers feel equipped and prepared to deal with and prevent school bullying or not. The main aim of the research is to find out how new teachers handle situations related to school bullying: which detection methods they use; with whom they cooperate; how they address these situations or how they would do so. Moreover, the thesis provides an insight into how prepared they feel, with their formal qualification and training, for these crisis situations.

This diploma thesis deals with the role of social andragogy in the prevention and possible solution of risky behavior with focus on risky addictive behavior. The thesis provides the reader with a compact insight into issue of addictive behavior, its development, complications, consequences and solutions. The aim of the work is to define the dangerousness and harmfulness of addictive substances, their devastating impact on the health and social status of an individual with an emphasis on the role of social andragogy. The theoretical part of the work introduces the problem of addiction as a whole, presents individual addictive substances available in the Czech Republic, divides them into individual categories, and introduces the reader to the history of the use of addictive substances. In the context of social andragogy, they will learn about the processes of socialization and resocialization, integration and reinteration, which play an important role in the prevention and solution of addictive behavior. The diploma thesis deals with methods and techniques of drama education, which we can use to prevent bullying at the first grade of the primary school. The theoretical part defines the concept of bullying and the definition of this concept. It also describes the forms, types and characteristic features of bullying. The theoretical part also focuses on the actors of bullying, describes the causes, development, subsequent manifestations of bullying as well as its consequences. In the theoretical part, we also deal with the area of bullying prevention at the 1st grade of elementary school. In the second half of the theoretical part, drama education at the first level of elementary school is defined, its goals and key competences that it develops at the first level. Here, the work focuses on the methods and techniques of dramatic education, which can be used to prevent bullying. Burnout syndrome in preschool teachers

The aim of the bachelor's thesis titled Burnout syndrome among teachers in preschool education is to find out what is the incidence rate of burnout syndrome among teachers in preschool education. Another goal is to find out what forms of burnout prevention the teachers use. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and an empirical part. The main purpose of the theoretical part is to acquaint the reader with the issue of stress and burnout in connection with the profession of a teacher in preschool education. The theoretical part is divided into six main chapters that directly relate to the chosen topic. In the practical part of the work, knowledge from the theoretical part is verified by a quantitative method, in the form of a questionnaire survey, and at the same time by a qualitative method, in the form of personal interviews. A total of 234 respondents, teachers from kindergartens throughout the Czech Republic took part in the research. As a part of the survey, a standardized MBI questionnaire and a self-constructed questionnaire were used. The MBI Questionnaire examines burnout in three dimensions-emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal satisfaction. The role of collegial sharing in prevention of burnout syndrome in beginning elementary school teachers

"This master's thesis focuses on the role of collegial sharing as a prevention strategy against the development of burnout syndrome among beginning teachers in elementary schools. The aim of the thesis is to analyze how collegial sharing can contribute to protecting beginning teachers from burnout and what its benefits are in terms of professional development and psychological well-being. The thesis also focuses on identifying risk factors associated with the teaching profession and their impact on the development of burnout syndrome. Qualitative methods, specifically semi-structured interviews with beginning teachers, were used in the research section. Respondents were selected based on convenience sampling, with the respondents being beginning teachers at primary schools. The collected data were analyzed through thematic analysis, using coding and identification of key themes. The research results showed that collegial sharing plays an important role in creating a supportive environment for beginning teachers. Colleagues become important sources of support, sharing experiences, and advice.
