The History and Development of the Waldorf School in Prague in the Years 1990 - 2022

This diploma thesis deals with the historical context and reasons for the development of alternative education in Czechoslovakia after 1989, including legislative changes which enabled the implementation of alternative schools. The main focus is on the emergence of Waldorf schools, which are one type of education of the alternative reform movement. The aim of the thesis is to determine the motivation of the founders and to map the circumstances of the establishment of Waldorf schools in Czechoslovakia after 1989. Special attention is paid to the research of the establishment and development of the Waldorf school in Prague 4. The diploma thesis has the character of qualitative research. In order to fulfil the objectives, methods of analysis and synthesis have been applied during the examination of legislative and official documents as well as in the evaluation and comparison of interviews. Oral history methods, specifically interviews with eyewitnesses, have been employed to ascertain the authentic perspectives of the witnesses of the beginnings of Waldorf education in Czechoslovakia after 1989. What do boys and girls draw in elementary school age?

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the themes of drawings of children at elementary school age with an emphasis on developmental and gender aspects. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the developmental characteristics of elementary school age children, cognitive, emotional and social development and their translation into drawing, as well as gender differences in this area. The empirical part uses a mixed research design combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. The aim of the work is to understand what themes children in first, third and fifth grade choose for their drawings and whether there are differences between girls and boys. Furthermore, I examine the factors that influence children's decisions when choosing a drawing theme. The results show that the most common themes in drawings are natural elements, themes from movies, TV shows and video games, and last but not least, means of transportation. The differences found between girls and boys preferences suggest that girls more often depict natural motifs, while boys prefer means of transport. The analysis also suggests stability in the development of drawing preferences during younger school age. The impact of management training on subordinates' motivation for further training

This thesis examines the impact of managers' continuing education on their subordinates' motivation for continuing education. The aim of the thesis was to find out how employees are influenced by their supervisor's approach to continuing education and whether manager training has a positive effect on motivation for learning and development. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. First, it deals with an introduction to management, the role and tasks of the manager, approaches to leading people, or managerial competencies. The second part discusses manager education and a systematic approach to manager development, including possible barriers to learning. The third section deals with motivation, where the concepts of motivation and stimulation, the context of motivation and the hierarchy of needs are defined and strategies to motivate adults to learn are described. The practical part of the thesis analyses the educational offer within the selected organisation, which can be used regularly by managers and employees. Furthermore, structured interviews are conducted with six selected managers. The diploma thesis is focused on evaluating the effectiveness of employee learning and development programs in the organization. Currently, learning and development programs in private sector organizations are largely unsystematic and circumstantially. Effectiveness is not guaranteed without an analysis of educational and developmental needs for the benefit of the company and at the same time for the benefit of the individual needs of employees. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether there are development and training programs in the organization in the private sector and to evaluate their effectiveness with regard to the organization's strategy and the personal development of the employees. The Role and Contribution of Prison Chaplains in the Process of Development and Reintegration of Convicts

The diploma thesis analyses the work and contribution of clergymen in the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis presents the role of the chaplains in the prison environment, it also deals with its historical development and key moments in history that have influenced the contemporary form of spiritual care of convicts. The theoretical part also presents an enumeration of the possibilities and specifics of development and education of convicts in the prison care system and the system of functioning of the educational and developmental system available to convicts during their sentence. It is within this spectrum of activities and activities that the role of spiritual care is further embedded in the theoretical part. Further, the theory articulates the impact of spiritual care on the lives of convicts and the experience of punishment. The theoretical part concludes with a comparison of the Czech and international context of chaplaincy and clerical activities, as well as post-penitentiary care, in which the thesis presents the specifics and methods of clerical work in the reintegration of convicts back into society. Childrens´ speech development with speech defects in preschool age

This Bachelor thesis on the topic of the Development of Speech in Preschool-aged Children with Logopedic Speech Impairments aims to analyze the development of speech in two children with logopedic impairments by means of observation in a set timeframe. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the regular process of a child's development during the preschool years, as well as the regular development of speech. It also addresses existing logopedic impairments, their causes, their manifestations, and reeducation procedures. The practical part of the thesis is supported by research conducted listening in at two preschool institutions. It contains the case studies of the children observed and evaluates the development of their speech in a given timeframe.

Study of Technical Preparation of a Production Portfolio for Production Organization

Launching a new product on the market requires a lot of preparatory work. In international companies, procedures and rules are clearly given. And while theory defines the technical production preparation activities, the actual processes vary from company to company. This diploma thesis focuses on the analysis and optimization of partial tasks, mainly on the design preparation of production. It proposes solutions to improve processes from a designer's point of view. In order to understand the appropriateness of the proposed solutions, it is necessary to know the nature of the analyzed company, which will be briefly presented. The proposals deal with software equipment in the workplace, the potential of which is not fully exploited by the employees. And although good quality software is an important part of the efficient operation of any company, for some activities it is preferable to limit the software used and simplify the processes. The specialists do their job with high quality and in less time. Creating a position of a specialist in photorealistic visualizations gives room to employee to develop in the field. Various factors, such as motivation and work environment, affect the performance of employees. Introducing new benefits, improving transport infrastructure and promoting alternative ways of travelling to work can have a positive impact on employee performance and satisfaction. The final part evaluates the proposals from a technical and economic perspective.
Communication and corporate culture in construction engineering

This bachelor thesis is focused on communication and corporate culture in the construction engineering, with an emphasis on importance and improvement. The thesis aims to capture the importance of this topic in the context of the construction engineering. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the issue of communication and culture in the construction industry is examined in detail to provide a comprehensive overview. The practical part presents the results of the research conducted, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The data was obtained through questionnaire surveys and guided interviews with employees of selected construction companies. The paper concludes with a summary of partial conclusions and formulates recommendations for improving communication and corporate culture in construction companies. This work included a proposal for a more effective survey methodology and tips for making the industry more attractive to young people.
