The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of the performance of a company engaged in the custom manufacturing of dietary supplements. The thesis is divided into theoretical, computational and evaluation parts. To evaluate the performance, selected indicators of financial analysis, their systems, economic value added, and finally strategic SWOT analysis are used. In the last part, the development of each indicator is evaluated using graphs, compared with industry averages, recommended values and among themselves.

The investment portfolio and its creation

The subject of the diploma thesis is the proposal of a sector-diversified investment portfolio of American value stocks for the use of an ETF fund. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, the necessary theoretical background is explained, on the basis of which the criteria for the selection of stock titles are determined. In the following part the fundamental analysis of selected stock titles is presented. The conclusion of the work is the proposal of a stock portfolio based on an investment recommendation and determination of the percentage representation of individual stock titles.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial situation of ŠKODA AUTO a.s. between the years 2017 and 2021 and proposals for its improvement. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The first part of the bachelor's thesis is focused on the theoretical starting points that are necessary for financial analysis. The second part provides basic information about ŠKODA AUTO a.s. and contains an analysis of the financial situation, which is carried out with the help of the application of the methods mentioned in the theoretical part. The last part contains suggestions for improving the company's financial situation, based on the results presented in the second part of the thesis.

In the theoretical part, selected tools and methods of financial analysis are described, which are subsequently applied in the practical part of this work. The results of the financial analysis are used to assess the financial health of the company. In the last part of this work, proposals that could improve the company's financial situation are formulated.

According to the results of the second part, the company's overall performance will be evaluated and proposals for additional improvement will be elaborated.

Enhancing the Performance of the Picked Entity

The thesis focuses on the ability to increase performance of a non-typical company which in this case is a state funded organization. To accomplish this, there are many methods used but it is essential to test their usability for this type of company. The thesis is divided into three parts, starting with the theoretical part which defines the basic terms and describes used methods. The practical usage of the methods is shown in the second part. Last but not least, there are given measures that can be seen as recommendations to improve company performance in the future.

This bachelor thesis focuses on improving the performance of the company "Chutný výběr" through analysis of financial health and proposing measures for improvement. The first part of the thesis defines key factors influencing the company's performance and conducts financial analysis based on financial statements for the last five years. Based on the results of the analysis, measures are proposed that have a positive impact on the company's performance. The result of the thesis is a proposal of specific measures that could lead to an improvement in the financial performance of the company "Chutný výběr".
