Church of st. Lawrence in Ves and its broader art-historical perspective

This work aims to gather all information possible concerning the general and architectural history of the church of Saint Lawrence in Ves in the region of Frýdlantsko and to summarize the research conducted until now. In order to examine the situation of the church the primary point of our research is the documentation, description and the analysis of its architectural form based on interpreting of the acquired knowledge. Next objective is to attempt to define the place of the church in the cultural, historical and architectural context of the region and thus to make a broader overview of the late gothic architectural activity in northern Bohemia of the relevant period of time and to find the closest examples using similar architectural scheme. Then the work treats with the definition of the relationship of the church to the phenomenon of double-nave plan churches, especially the central type, in Czech medieval architecture. Finally some ways in which the question of employment of double-nave planning can be viewed in general are presented together with some ideas about the specifics, which might have possibly influenced the creation of the artistic form of the church in Ves.

Trials of Nazi Criminals in the Occupation Zones and their Influence on Czechoslovak Retribution - Abstract and Key Words The theme of the presented dissertation thesis is the phenomenon of the so-called Zone trials, ie the trials of Nazi criminals, which took place just after the end of the World War II in the territory of the individual occupation zones of divided Germany in the exclusive (possibly shared) jurisdiction of one of the four occupying powers (France, the Soviet Union, the United States of America and the United Kingdom). The first goal of this thesis is to analyze the trial programs implemented in each of the occupation zones and on the basis of these partial analyzes to obtain a generalized characteristics of each of the programs. The second goal is to compare each of the individual Zone trial programs. The third goal is to answer the question of whether and, if so, to what extent, the Zone programs of trials of Nazi criminals and Retribution trial programs implemented in the territory of Czechoslovakia were mutually influenced. Influence of press agency ČTK on the economical columns of Czech dailies Právo, Hospodářské noviny and MF Dnes

This graduation thesis: Influence of press agency ČTK on the economical columns of Czech dailies Právo, Hospodářské noviny and MF Dnes deals with press agency ČTK news influence on the national dailies. The first two months of the year 2006 of three dailies Právo, Hospodářské noviny and Mladá fronta Dnes were being observed. The author features basic excursus into particular stages of research, basic theses and agenda setting principles as a theoretical base. The final part of the work deals with news selection into news service and affinity between resources and editorial staffs. The result of the research, which used content analysis as the researching method, describes the way how editors work with services of press agencies. In which form ČTK news appear in newspapers and how much space they are given there by editors and to which degree they mention authorship while taking news from agencies.

The Proposal to Strengthen Company Factors from the Perspective of Value Proposition and Customer Segments in Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of factors of the selected company influencing its value offer in the current market environment. The first theoretical part describes the bases defining the relevant company factors, the process of strategic management, value offer and innovation including a description of selected analytical-research methods suitable for the analysis of the problematics. The second analytical part explores and analyzes the environment and factors of the company from which, based on the COP analysis, are selected company factors suitable for subsequent strengthening. The design part of the thesis already elaborates process for strengthening factors including concrete steps that will lead to the future development of the company.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the assessment of the financial situation of the selected company in 2014-2017. The goal of the thesis is to propose possible solutions to improve the financial situation of the company. These thesis is divided into four basic parts. There is description of goals and metodology in the first part. Theoretical basis of the thesis and the analysis of the current state of company are included in following parts. The final part contains specific solutions.

Effective Economy of the Municipality and the Investmant Planning

This master’s thesis deals with an effective economy and planning of investments in a municipality. The first part of this work classifies the municipality and its entities following with a general description of municipality economy, classification of investments and their division according to the related criterion. A second part of the thesis introduces a specific village Černožice and its plans for investments. A practical part talks about a specific project „Vybudování stavebních parcel Čáslavka“ where all technical details, estimation of a price, underground utilities, following the sale, possible financial resources for the project and cash flow are described. Eventually, the conclusion of this work describes an economic analysis of the project as a whole.

The crisis, mergers, changes in ownership and cosolidation - the economical development of czech media companies in years 2009-2013 and cosequent change of the ownership

This thesis is dedicated to the significant change in media ownership in the Czech Republic which occured during the Global crisis in 2008 - 2013. In this period almost all foreign owners sold their media to the local enterpreneurs, who took over almost all media houses. This shift happened under generally less comfortable matket conditions, which have hit mostly the printed media. The local enterpreneurs are naturally much more interested in local politics. This text describes these changes and uncovers the economic reasons that led to it, including the extensive research into publicly available, yet not analysed annual reports of media companies. The conclusion is that the foreign owners generally earned well in the Czech market and that they have decided to use the crisis as a good moment to sell. The arrival of new domestic owners caused worries about their possible interference with kontent and by 2017 there are some hints suggesting that they may use the media against the opponents. But there is a fact that may prevent them: the thesis proves how worth the position on the market is. And this should at least limit these efforts.

The Creation, evolution and course of the International Military tribunal at Nuremberg and the Subsequent Nuremberg trials and its comparison with the theoretical basis and course of the military trials with the personnel of the Concentration camps held in the american occupation zone

The purpose of this thesis is to compare the Trial of major Nazi war criminals before International Military Tribunal with others trials held in American occupation zone in the Exclusive American jurisdiction (concretely the so called Subsequent Nuremberg trials and the Dachau trials) and to find the similarities between them. The thesis is divided into the six chapters, which are further divided into the subchapters. The first chapter describes the situation during and after the Second World War and the considerations of the Allied powers about the method of the punishment of the Nazi war criminals, which was necessary. The second chapter deals with the creation of the Charter of the International Military Tribunal. This law was created with the joint efforts of the most prominent lawyers from the United States of America, Soviet Union, Great Britain and France. The Charter included new categories of crimes, which were the reaction to the unprecedented extensity of Nazi atrocities. This "Nuremberg charter" helped greatly in the development of the International criminal law. Parlerovská architektúra, súvisiaca s priamou činnosťou rodu Parler, trvala približne od poslednej tretiny 14. storočia do polovice 15. storočia. Stavitelia, ktorí pokračovali v odkaze rodu Parler, stavali približne do záveru 15. storočia.
