Assessment of the readiness of children at compulsory school teaching public and family

The main goal of the thesis was to detect and subsequently present a comprehensive views of educational society and parents for the current issue of school preparedness and its related issues concerning the high number of school attendance delay. To obtain these views was used a method of semi-structured interviews with parents, teachers from preparatory classes and teachers from nursery and primary schools. When analysis of testimony was finished, has been used and also elected procedure confrontation between these dates, then confrontation with professional publications, articles, web discussion forums and also primary data which was find out at conference that was organized on this topic. After the research was found that the issue of school preparedness affects to other issues like: an education and qualification of nursery teachers, the quality of cooperation between school and family, problems of capacity classrooms in nursery and solving number of children and age composition of class, accountability for school readiness child etc. The results of this thesis indicate what opinions have the family and educational public on the current status of the school preparedness disadvantages of children and also parts of school preparedness, in which today's children mainly excel. Efficacy of activities supporting non-stereotyped career choice

The aim of this work is to describe career choice with a focus on gender issues. The first theoretical part of the work defines the concepts that relate to the topic career choice and gender issues, presents informations about what has been so far founded about this topic, describes career choice development, outlines the factors that influence career choice, lists the examples of gender stereotypes, calls attention to occurrance gender stereotypes and shows how it is possible to work with them. The second empirical part is following by theoretical part. The target group of research are boys and girl of the fifth classes on the primary school. The research design of work is characterized by the action research. The research was implemented of experiential activities. Verification methods were questionnaires. The research group has participated in activities. In research figurated also the control group. Members of control group did not participate in activities. The aim of research was to determinate if activities influence children's thinking about career choice. This assumption was verified in the questionnaires.
Animal Assisted Activities at Children in Hospital

The thesis titled "Use of animal assisted therapy for the hospitalized children" deals with the theoretical background of animal assisted therapy as a supporting method in complex rehabilitation and its practical use during the visits of volunteers with their dogs and its influence to the health of children in hospital care. In the available literature are often described the positive effects of the animal assisted therapy onto the mental and physical condition of the person, the impact on improving communication as well as other factors in the social life of the client. The main focuse of my work is whether these effects can be observed (noticed) even in the short term or even after a single visit of the dog. Using quantitative and qualitative methods, I have tried to describe this impact and possibly uncover additional benefits that can be attributed to the visits of the volunteers with a dog at pediatric hospital.
Early intervention for children with autism

The first purpose of my bachelor thesis is to describe and analyse the methods of early intervention for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). This theme is not in the Czech often processed, altought it is a very important field that can greatly help a child in his development and parents in understanding the needs of the child. we will adress the main areas of early intervention, which are functional communication training, game and self-care skills as well as manners. The empirical part is mainly analysing these methods by using specific examples; two children with ADS. We would like to demonstrate the development of the various region of the examined children, the importance of the child for early intervention have. Finally, we would like to describe whether early intervention care have an impact on the family as an unit.
Identity in Parents of Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Based on Interviews with Parents

This thesis is focused on parents of children with autism spectrum disorder, their parental identity and the factors that affect coping with this difficult situation. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of two consecutive sections. The first section describes the main milestones in the history of autism concept, the development of etiology knowledge and the essential characteristics of mentioned diagnosis. This information is contained for the better understanding of what autism means and what are the parents of autistic children going through. The second section is devoted to the healthy children parents identity, its development, but also parental identity of disabled children parents. The focus is on the factors that affect the acceptance of diagnosis and coping with this fact. The empirical part consists of a qualitative study findings. As a method of research was used semi-structured interview, which we realized with the parents of autistic children in three different families. The goal is to describe the factors that impact parental identity of autistic child parents and to compare it with the known theoretical evidences, all based on real parental reports. Support friendly relationships in the classroom for the use of the methods and techniques of drama

This Diploma thesis deals with the support friendly relationships in the classroom for the use of the methods and techniques of drama. The theoretical part focused on the characteristics of primary school pupils and school classroom as a social group. In the methodological part of the program I present the main methods of investigation, such as conversation, social and psychological games, methods and techniques of drama and preparation games and exercises. In the practical part I propose an intervention program where the methods and techniques of drama friendly seeks to foster relationships in the classroom intervention program has a range of six meetings with the classroom and verify its applicability for school practice.

Children from orphanages and their integration into the class group

Annotation: The thesis name The children from orphanages and their integration into the class group is focused on taking the role of student by children from orphanages. The thesis is divided into a theoretical, methodological and practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to family, school roles and long-term researches of Matějček and Langmeier on the psychological deprivation and sub-deprivation. The methodology section contains objectives of the thesis and structure of the research project. The practical part examined differences in the conception of the role of pupil children from orphanages and children from family care using observational, questionnaire and socio-metric method and verifies that the monitored pupils from the orphanage have difficulties with social integration into the class group. Thesis, "Analysis of reasons for delays in the school attendance within the regional investigation" deals in the theoretical level with the concept of school maturity and school readiness, and reasons leading to the postponement of school attendance. Most major theme of the thesis is to identify reasons for the school attendance delay in the Náchod region. It gives examples of test methods and remedial methods used in the educational-psychology counselling centre in Náchod and the kindergarten in Hronov. There are set the goal and hypotheses in the empirical part of the thesis, leading to the processing of the data obtained through questionnaires and interview. The resulting analysis is treated in the conclusion of the thesis.

This thesis discusses various options for working with children with specific behavioral disorders (ADHD, ADD, PCH). In the theoretical part, the author deals with child psychotherapy and its effectiveness in general, follows the development of research about this topic to be subsequently focused on the treatment of specific disorders in behavior and attention. Summarizes the available foreign studies of treatment effectiveness of these problems and monitors this issue also in the Czech educational - psychological counseling. The theoretical part ends with the text describing the possibilities of evaluation in counseling, which prepares the reader to a gradual shift to the practical part.
