Práce se zabývá volbou povolání se zaměřením na genderovou problematiku. První, teoretická část stručně vymezuje pojmy, které se vztahují k tématu, předkládá informace o dosavadních zjištěních v této oblasti, popisuje proces a vývoj volby povolání, uvádí faktory, které nás mohou ve volbě povolání ovlivňovat, podává výčet konkrétních příkladů genderových stereotypů, upozorňuje, kde se s genderovými stereotypy můžeme setkat a jakým způsobem je s nimi možné ve vztahu k povoláním pracovat. Druhá, empirická část navazuje na teoretickou část. Cílovou skupinou výzkumného šetření jsou žáci a žákyně 5. tříd základních škol. Výzkumný design práce má charakter akčního výzkumu. Výzkum se zakládal na realizaci a reflexi programu zážitkových aktivit. Program aktivit byl realizován s výzkumnou skupinou, k ověření sloužila kontrolní skupina. Výzkumným cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda má program aktivit dopad na uvažování dětí o volbě povolání. Tento předpoklad se ověřil v dotaznících. The aim of this work is to describe career choice with a focus on gender issues. The first theoretical part of the work defines the concepts that relate to the topic career choice and gender issues, presents informations about what has been so far founded about this topic, describes career choice development, outlines the factors that influence career choice, lists the examples of gender stereotypes, calls attention to occurrance gender stereotypes and shows how it is possible to work with them. The second empirical part is following by theoretical part. The target group of research are boys and girl of the fifth classes on the primary school. The research design of work is characterized by the action research. The research was implemented of experiential activities. Verification methods were questionnaires. The research group has participated in activities. In research figurated also the control group. Members of control group did not participate in activities. The aim of research was to determinate if activities influence children's thinking about career choice. This assumption was verified in the questionnaires.
