Computer Games nad Simulation (oriented on MMOG)
Šach, Martin ; Rosický, Antonín (advisor) ; Brixí, Radim (referee)
The goal of this Thesis is not only a plain description of common characteristics of Massive Multiplayer Online Games (their sorting and conditions on where they run are included), but also their integration to the wider phenomenon -- to cyberspace. Cyberspace reference is present in all recommendations and game specifics. Cyberspace is it`s base ingredient, the authority, to which all those parts are revoking to. And here it comes our second and main goal. The need of integration of players to that virtual world. To seek her desires, her true nature. That maybe done by describing various game devices and methods of connecting users of those devices to the cyberspace, let alone by expanding reader`s horizons to places, not known to her. All that is lead by one effort -- that the person, who will read that Thesis carefully, will be able to answer the question, if players get exactly what they need. And she`ll be able to do that before reading to the end.

The position of indicative and conjunctive in contemporary Italian

This paper deals with the concept and current form of fair trade - business cooperation with producers in developing countries to the end of ensuring them a higher standard of living through offering them better prices for their products. The study summarizes the development of fair trade since its establishment in the forties of the last century till the latest stage, which is characterized by internationally recognized certificates being issued for products made in fair trade production. The paper also attempts to identify and clarify important moments which encouraged the implementation of this initiative. In the second part of the paper the author focuses on a more detailed analysis of how fair trade works. She identifies its differences from conventional trade and, using coffee as an example, demonstrates price differences in both distribution channels. Further she maps the volume of fair trade within Europe and over the world, arriving to the conclusion that this sector has been significantly growing in the last few years. As a determinant of the future development of fair trade, she accentuates sufficient interest of customers in fair-traded products. In the last chapter she discusses problematic areas and the critique of the concept. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Přikrylová, Jana ; Písař, Pavel (advisor) ; Czesaný, Slavoj (referee)
The object of the Bachelor's work is to analyze the present position of the health insurance companies in the health system of the Czech Republic. First of all I characterize the particular health service systems existing in the world in my work. Further I am concerned with the health service system in this country, with its development, financing and, especially, with the role of the health insurance companies in this system. A special attention is devoted by me to the health insurance which is the main income of the health insurance companies; and to its redistribution. I analyze problems of the public health insurance system as well as of the health insurance companies. In a further part I deal with the health insurance system in U.S.A. where the health insurance is voluntary and therefore it is set up on a commercial base, whereas the public general health insurance in CR is compulsory. I compare advantages and disadvantages of the health service systems in CR and U.S.A. and on base of this analysis I will prove that the Czech medical service is instable economically; that it comes to wasting as the patient has no choice to choose the care according to the quality and price; it comes to reduction of the availability of medical services; the patients have no possibility of paying extra money for a service of higher quality even if they have enough money for that. At the end on the basis of the analysis of functioning of both these systems I indicate which way the reform of the medical service in this country could proceed.

Pelikánová, Šárka ; Vostrovská, Zdenka (advisor) ; Bartůsková, Lucia (referee)
The thesis deals with the issue of support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Czech Republic focusing on one of the market-based forms of such support in terms of networking. Specifically, the work is aimed at reference networking, and describes it in detail using an example of its representative in the Czech market. Within its theoretical part, the work defines the concept of small and medium-sized business. Further it explains the concept of promoting entrepreneurship in terms of public and market support. In the framework of this distinction, examples of some of the forms of such support have been listed. On the example of Switzerland, local representative forms of public support of entrepreneurship have been presented and compared to those in the Czech Republic. Further, networking concept has been introduced, and some principles of its operation have been defined. Different kinds of networking have been described. In the practical part, functioning of reference networking in particular, has been described more in detail on the example of the company Business for Breakfast Česká republika s.r.o. Using a questionnaire survey among the members of this concept, its benefits for both the members of the concept, as well as for the state budget have been investigated. The analysed benefits are examined in terms of both budget revenues, as well as in terms of cost savings. Fields of business, for which reference networking seems to be most beneficial, have been mentioned. In the end, benefits of representative public forms of business support with reference marketing have been compared. The study has confirmed that reference networking is an effective form of market-based support for small and medium-sized businesses, and has a positive impact on both the state budget, as well as on creating a favourable business environment in the Czech Republic. Despite public forms of business, these benefits are demonstrable and measurable.
