Qualitative research of dreams by children

In this bachelor work which topic is Qualitative dream research amongst children of preschool age I first deal with the definition of the dream itself, with the dreaming phases, then with the important theories of dreaming (Sigmund Freud, Carl Gustav Jung, Frederick Perls), then the Freud´s psychosexual theory, Erikson´s theory, Piaget´s theory, then the role of fairy tales theory by von Franz M. L, and the play theory by Giddens A) In this work I research what are preschool children´s dreams made of. That´s why I used a grounded theory for this qualitative research. I used haf-structured depth interview, which I then analysed using the grounded theory and I was looking for key structures, patterns, dream types and connections. I used an audiovisual technique to record the interviews with children.

The attention will be particularly focused on the collection of information based on influences of the evaluation and its individual forms and types on the child. In the empirical part the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods will be utilized. In the quantitative part of the research, questionnaires for elementary schools teachers, for pupils of the primary school grade 2 to 5 and the parents of those pupils will be used. The questions will be focused on their attitude to the different forms of the school evaluation - what they are mainly afraid of, what they prefer, what attitude they have to self-evaluation, how they are influenced by the different forms of evaluation. Does marketing research have important role in operation and decision-making of the touroperator?

The thesis is divided into two main parts -- theoretical and practical. In theoretical part are characterized touroperators and their operation and typology. Following chapters are dedicated to marketing research and its characteristic including reasons for its realization and particular steps of marketing research process, types and forms of marketing research with detailed characteristic of qualitative and quantitative research. Next chapters discuss information in marketing research and their sources, realization and operating of marketing research. In practical part are summarized answers given by respondents within qualitative research that were about the importance of marketing research in operation and decision-making of the touroperator. The results of research are stated at the end of each subchapter.

History of Sandstone Climbing in the Labské Valley Since Second World War to the Present

Title: History of sandstone climbing in the Labské valley since the Second World War to the present. Objectives: To study archival materials, literature and Internet sources to document the post-war development of climbing activities in the area Labské valley. On the basis of interviews with major figures of sandstone climbing from this area the problematic issues have been put in the context of past and present years. Methodology: Methods of qualitative research have been used in this work. The method of analysis of documents was to clarify the development and critically assess the milestones in the development. By usage of structured interviews with open questiones the missing information to the development of climbing in the area were enlighten. Methods of structured and unstructured interviews were used in the final debate where they were useful for identification of difficult moments in the development. Economic aspects of health in modern society

Předmětem zkoumání jsou specifika zdravotní péče jako ekonomické kategorie, zdraví a jeho determinanty, význam a postavení zdravotnictví v moderní společnosti, ekonomické a institucionální charakteristiky tří odlišných zdravotnických systémů (Německo, Spojené státy americké, Velká Británie) a zejména vývoj a perspektivy českého zdravotnictví. Cílem práce je analyzovat ekonomické aspekty zdravotnictví v moderní společnosti v kontextu historie a současnosti zdravotnických systémů a zhodnotit relevantní implikace pro české zdravotnictví. Práce vychází z vlastností zdravotní péče jako ekonomického statku, konceptu investic do zdraví a významu zdraví pro lidský kapitál. Diskutuje rizika a příležitosti rostoucí potřeby a spotřeby zdravotní péče vyplývající z ekonomického rozvoje, stavu determinantů zdraví a změn v chování lidí, které sebou přináší rychlý vývoj současného světa. Přibližuje měnící se roli státu ve zdravotnictví a zkoumá otázky obecné dostupnosti zdravotní péče v moderní společnosti. Zabývá se vymezením vazeb ekonomických aspektů zdravotnictví ve vztahu k souvisejícím medicínským, etickým, sociálním a institucionálním aspektům, jež zpětně determinují prostředí a podmínky pro racionální rozhodování a jednání aktérů zdravotnického systému. Identifikuje a srovnává významné ekonomické a institucionální charakteristiky zdravotnických systémů v rámci zvolené typologie, včetně zhodnocení problematiky jejich konvergence. Ukazuje logiku jejich vnitřního fungování a příčiny jejich typických problémů (čekací seznamy, deficity, nerealizovaná péče). Zjištěné poznatky jsou využity v diskusi o perspektivách českého zdravotnictví a vyúsťují v analýzu možností využití ekonomických nástrojů se zaměřením na implementaci spoluúčasti pacientů a na další rozvoj pluralitního prostředí zdravotních pojišťoven (variabilní sazba zdravotního pojištění a stropy pro spoluúčast).

The Role of G7/G8 in the World Economy - Selected Aspects

The position of Group of Eight is today very important from the world ecomomic view. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the impact of the evolution of this group and to describe some selected influential areas more detailed. The author of the thesis sums up the origin of the group including the present influence on the world in the first part of the thesis. The next chapter contains descriptions of some of the most important aspects of the world economy. In particular, these are topics which involve the debt relief of developing countries, poverty reduction, nuclear safety, international security and terrorism.

Phenomenon of digital labor and its diverse practice in use of blogs in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis, The phenomenon of digital labor and its diverse practice in use of blogs in the Czech Republic, aims to bring the current definition of the concept of digital labor and its applicability into the Czech blogosphere. The theoretical part of this work focuses on the demarcation, definition of, and perception of the concept of digital labor, and the blogosphere, which is mainly based on theoretical concepts of Christian Fuchs, Sebastian Sevignani, Ursula Huws, Trebor Scholz, that proceeded the political economic theory of Karl Marx. The analytical part of the thesis presents the environment of the Czech blogosphere, which is based on the interpretation of the data of quantitative research conducted in the Czech Republic as part of a wider project IPREX BLOGBAROMETERM in 2014 and 2015 and secondly on qualitative research, which aims to answer the research question, if Czech bloggers perceive their creative activity as work and leisure activities, or merge their very different activities in one. Experiences of caregivers with home hospice care

The subject of this diploma thesis is to analyze and describe the specific experiences of three caregivers with a home hospice care using chosen qualitative research method. It try to find answers to questions about why these people chose home hospice care, in what they see its positives and negatives and what obstacles and problems need to be overcome during care. The first part focuses on the characteristics of home hospice care, the introduction of various concepts of bereaved and mapping support for caregivers. In the second part is done phenomenological investigation of experiences of these three participants of research.

Sexuality and Body Image of Pacients with Cancer

Abstract The title of the presented bachelor paper is Sexuality and Body Image of Patients with Cancer. Care of patients with cancer is multidisciplinary not only from the medical and nursing point of view, but also from the social point of view. Only recently the expert community in health field has concentrated on sociopsychological needs of patients with cancer as well as their families. Sexuality and body image accompany person through his/her lifetime and serious illness may have an adverse effect on self-consciousness or our experiencing. Cancer and its treatment, its adverse effects and impact of treatment on patient´s organism and mental condition are specified in the theoretical part of this bachelor paper. This part comprises basic nursing interventions, strategies how to solve questions of sexuality of patients with cancer and also unsubstitutable educational role of a nurse. At the end of the theoretical part we pay attention to sociopsychological interventions which are applied on patients with cancer. The work itself aims to find out how nurses are prepared to educate patients in the field of sexuality and body image. To this end two working hypotheses were defined. In the first hypothesis we presumed that nurses were not sufficiently prepared to educate patients with cancer in the field of sexuality, and in the second one we presumed that the main difficulty as to why the education of patients in the given field was neglected was a communication barrier on the part of medical staff. Another goal of this bachelor paper was to determine the degree of influence of perception of one´s own body and sexuality in consequence of treatment and to find out whether patients with cancer had enough information on impact of illness and its treatment on their sexuality and body image. With this goal in view 3 survey questions were defined. The first one related to the development of sense of worse self-respect as a consequence of the illness. The second question focused on decrease of sex appeal of patients with cancer and the third one concentrated on awareness of illness consequences in the field of patient´s sexuality. On the basis of the survey made, Hypothesis 1 (H1) has been affirmed, namely that nurses are not prepared to educate patients with cancer in the sexuality field. Hypothesis 2 (H2) has been disconfirmed. Survey results have indicated that the main barrier as to why the education of patients in the field of sexuality is neglected is not communication but the fact that it is considered unethical to patients. Other hypotheses have been educed from the defined survey questions, namely Hypotheses 3, 4 and 5 (hereinafter referred to as H3, H4, and H5). H3: Consequences of cancer treatment lead to worse self-respect of patients. H4: Consequences of cancer treatment lead to sense of decreased sex appeal. H5: Patients with cancer lack information on consequences of treatment in the field of sexuality. Patients most lack information on how to communicate with their partners about complications. The survey was carried out with medical staff who work at oncology wards, gynaecology and surgery ward of FN Plzen and with patients with cancer. To draw necessary information from medical staff, we used the technique of data acquisition - questionnaire. Qualitative research was used at patients; data were collected by informal interview in home environment of respondents.

Specifics of Marketing Communication in the West Bohemian Spa Triangle in 2010

Bachelors thesis "Specifics of marketing communication of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle in 2010" deals with mapping communication activities of each town which is part of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle (Carlsbad, Marienbad, Franzenbad) to determine if in case of listing these three towns together on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage their communication could stay the same or not. This thesis is a comparative study which is divided into a theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical introduction deals with spa, specific features and descriptions of the given three spa towns. The theoretical part also contains theory of marketing and marketing communication. The practical part compares and describes communication activities of each town in 2010 and also compares opinions of three representatives of the towns who took part in a qualitative survey for purposes of this thesis. This works objective is to compare and assess existing communication of the towns and together with the results of the survey to create a vision of communication of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle as if it becomes an official tourist destination.
